I have always been a Salomon fan, but the 2 most recent pairs of Salomon boots I bought both leaked…a lot. So I remembered the Salewa’s being very highly rated in a Gear-of-the-Year article in my Backpacker magazine about 10 years ago…so I bought them. I am not sure why they have a cover over the laces and they seem to smell like cat urine if they stay wet for too long, but they are comfortable and they do not leak.

Ich hab die Schuhe jetzt etwas mehr als 2,5 Monate und bin ca. 200 Kilometer mit ihnen gelaufen. Normalerweise trage ich Gre 42. Da ich aber lngere Touren (um 50km) laufe, hab ich die Schuhe in Gre 44 bestellt, weil ich etwas breitere Fe habe. Falkesocken TK2 mit Merinowolle kann ich gerade so verwenden , jemand mit schmaleren Fen hat da vielleicht die ideale Kombi. Das Solenprofil ist sehr griffig, bei Eis und nassen Steinen muss man trotzdem die gewohnte Vorsicht walten lassen. Im Vergleich zu Vibramsolen finde ich die Sole des Ultra Flex 2 griffiger, das ist aber eher ein subjektiver Eindruck. Auch nach einer zehnstndigen Wanderung mit Schneefall, Nsse und Schlamm haben die Schuhe absolut dicht gehalten und kein Wasser durchgelassen. Fr Wanderer ohne Problemfe ein klare Kaufempfehlung.

Extrem leicht, super griffige Sohle, sehr bequem und sitzt durch die durchdachte Schnrung perfekt !
Wrde den Schuh sofort wieder kaufen. Benutze ihn zum Wandern auch ausserhalb von befestigten Wegen.

I’m a wide foot. But these are some how still the best shoe for working in all day. I do about 12k steps a day in them feet are never soar. As long as toe safety isn’t a issue these are a great shoe. I heard there great for hiking also I live in the city not many trails here

Der Schuh ist genau das was ich gesucht habe. Eine Mischung aus Turn- und Wanderschuh. Sehr leicht aber mit gutem Profil. Man sollte nur beachten das sie etwas zu klein ausfallen. Ich habe normal eine 46 brauchte bei denen aber eine 47.

Schuh war vom ersten Moment an sehr bequem. Ich trage bei allen Schuhen die 43 und habe immer gut einen Daumen breit Platz. Das war hier auch so. Er ist am vorfu angenehm breit dass er auf langen Wanderungen nicht drckt und bietet unheimlich guten Halt. Sehr stabil im Knchel und Sohlen Bereich. Perfekt also fr kleine Wanderungen im Mittelgebirge.
Habe ihn nach einer Woche im Alltag einlaufen dann 5Tage in der schsischen Schweiz getragen und da jeden Tag 15km gewandert. Und bei einer 50km Wanderung im Vogtland und er ist noch wie neu. Hoffentlich hlt er wieder ein paar Jahre. Leider kann ich zu dem Gore-tex noch nichts sagen, wie es bei diesem Schuh hlt.

I like winter running through marshy farm land, river trails and woodlands. I have used several different shoes/boots so I can make a decent comparison. These boots are great. A little bit slippy on mossy rocks. Superb on grass, mud, shale type terrain. I’ll buy another pair for sure. Clean the mud off after every run, and they should last longer.

A bit narrow around the top of the foot even when unlaced – I’m wearing a size 9. Not really an issue with a very thin sock, but anything thicker is an issue. Otherwise, I like these alot. Comfortable, good grip and support.

Just finished an 8mile hike earlier today and they exceeded my expectations! Very comfortable and light! I hike a dirt trail with an occasional section of caliche, and never did I feel less comfy with this pair. This is my second different pair of Salewa’s and between them and Salomon, it’s a tough choice, really. You can’t ho wrong with these. I wear a size 10 and they fit perfectly. Felt very sturdy and secure.

bequem und sehr rutschfest. Auf Felsen und Schlam sehr guter Halt. Leider etwas klein habe sie weitergegeben und ein neues paar gekauft.
leider lsst sich die Sohle vorne ander spitze ab und der obere Rand der beim Gehen am anderen Schuh scheuert, ist nach mehreren Tageswanderungen aufgelsst.

This is my second pair of Ultra Flex 2 that I purchased without hesitation after trialing the first pair ordered back in May 2021, my first ever pair of Salewa shoes. Since then, I had the opportunity to abuse the first pair twice, on reasonable summer day treks of more than 15km each. Not much running, but mostly hiking that had decently steep sections sometimes. Have been going through wet grass, mountain river beds, untouched forests where the vegetation uniformly concealed the rotten or slippery material underneath. Initially I was convinced that my feet got wet, especially when walking through the rich morning dew, as the top of the shoes felt cold, but when checking each foot, the socks were absolutely dry, so was extremely pleased (Gore-tex). They also provided good grip and excellent stability. No discomfort at the end of the day, but have ordered one size bigger and my toes have appreciated the extra space provided. Very good shoes in my opinion, so as mentioned above, have purchased a second pair now that I hope would accompany me on other adventures.

ich kaufe sie jetzt zum dritten mal, weil die wirklich extrem gut sind. und drcken nicht, machen keine blasen. so ganz wasserdicht sinds net … aber gut .. ich bin ja auch ganz schlimme regengsse damit am berg gewesen.
ich verwende keine anderen wanderschuhe.
preis ist vollkommen in ordnung mit bis 130 euro.
lieferung war superschnell.

Ho preso speranzoso la seconda versione di questo modello dopo aver dovuto vendere la prima per problemi di vesciche al tendine d’achille a causa del sistema 3F di Salewa.
Non so se per numero troppo piccolo (la misura in lunghezza in realt giusta) o per incompatibilit del mio piede con questo sistema, si ripresentato nuovamente anche se in misura minore. Il sistema meno rigido e “plasticoso” rispetto alla prima versione ma rimane il fatto che tende a sentirsi come un elemento senza imbottitura sulle salite pi ripide. In pi la scarpa ha una pianta davvero stretta che sulle lunghe percorrenze comincia a farsi sentire. il grip passato da suola Michelin a Pomoca ma in realt non mi ha entusiasmato soprattutto su pietre bagnate, meglio su terra o traversi e ovviamente su terreno asciutto.
Nonostante Salewa calzi poco come numeri, consiglio la vostra taglia abituale ma la sconsiglierei comunque a chi ha una pianta larga. Opinione personale

I bought this shoes for my husband, these are the best pair he have ever had, we hike a lot but he uses for gym training as well and daily use when rainy, they look good with jeans as well as hiking gea

Nice lightweight boot. Superb grip and reasonable ankle support for its size. Fine for three season hill walking, however would recommend something with higher ankle support for deep bog/snow/winter walking in Scotland (e.g. Scarpa Ribelle Lite).

Love these boots. They are my every day lightweight pair. Use them for my shorter, lower walks in the lakes and general dog walking. Comfortable, lightweight and waterproof. I have experienced good customer service in the last from Salewa when I had a faulty product.

Excellent boot, very comfortable first walk needed no breaking in. Love the quick lace system that releases on one side. As Salewa state lightweight for speed hiking probably would use a heavier boot for more serious climbs
