I should’ve bought this basket for our first child. It’s light waves, sturdy and looks good. I love the mesh window sides which make sure it’s breathable. It’s also a good size (length) so should last as baby grows.

Much better than a wicker Moses basket and the colour is more natural and goes well with any colour scheme, the basket itself is really lightweight and sturdy!

I highly recommend for new and experienced parents!

    Lightweight!

This moses basket has all the features you could want. It’s easy to put together and feels very sturdy when assembled and looks really nice.

The material has a nice soft feel to it but also feels like it will clean fairly easily if it gets anything spilt on it. We used to have a wicker moses basket but this one is so much better, you can lift the basket without it making a noise compared to the creaking sound you get with a wicker basket.

The viewing window is a massive bonus for this basket as we have it downstairs in the day time and you can see through the side of the basket without having to get off the sofa to check on baby over the top of the basket, it sound like something of nothing but you really appreciate anytime you get to sit down when your little bundle of joy first arrives on the scene!

Having a folding stand is a much better idea than the usual fixed ones too as it allows you to move the basket up and down the stairs so much easier and without damaging the walls. This is also made easier by the fact that the whole thing is so light weight.

Over all we’re really happy with this basket and will no doubt be using this brand in the future.

I am pleased with this product. It’s light, easy to assemble, and sturdy. It folds away easily, too. The fabric seems decent quality, but I’ve only had it for a month, so I can’t speak to its longevity yet.

The design is good—I like the dual mesh window so you can monitor the baby. My only recommendation would be a hoody on the basket, or something similar would be nice to keep the baby away from the distraction.

I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

This Moses basket arrived in an Amazon box inside a bag with basket and stand in it.
I find it very good, bigger than others I previously had, baby seems very comfortable sleeping there. Quite light so makes it easier to move it around. Overall a good product, great value for money

This Moses basket is both simple and practical in design. The material used for the basket is strong, sturdy and light, it feels hard like plastic but with a slight fabric touch, with a little give in the sides. Some people might want a little more rigidity but the main aspect of this design is for it to be light, comfortable, durable and robust and this ticks all those boxes. The design is fantastic, it’s simplistic and modern. Inside there is a soft bed/mattress and in the middle of the basket there is a mesh/fabric panel that allows your baby to be viewed but also allows more air flow too. The stand is easy to build and the whole thing is easy to move from room to room or to take away with you. The basket slots into the top of the stand easily and feels sturdy and safe. I found this to be a great Moses basket and with it being a bit larger will be useable for a little longer. A quality basket and well worth the price.

This SnuzBaskit comes with wooden legs and a soft padded mattress. I was surprised how lightweight the basket is due to the light weight material it is made of whilst still being nice and sturdy, this makes it really easy to move from room to room. It has a very scandi aesthetic which I really love and looks much better than any other baskets we have come across. There are mesh windows either side of the basket which keeps your baby cool (and allows you to keep an eye on them without needing to get up!). The provided mattress is reasonably thick and feels super soft and comfortable. Overall this is a great looking (whilst practical) basket for the price. There is also the added bonus of the recycled materials used to make it.. it’s good to be green!

Easy to assemble, night and lightweigh

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA sturdy and stylish Moses basket and stand from Snuz. It arrives well packed in a big box.

I have to admit that this product exceeded my expectations. When I first looked at the photo and the price, I thought it was overpriced. But when it arrived and I had put it together, everything about this product simply screams quality.

The stand is lightweight, it can be easily moved between rooms if required. It’s made from a strong wood, and has a nice smooth varnished finish.

The basket is made from KinderFelt material which is a 100% recycled material and certified free from over 100 harmful substances. It’s super light, yet sturdy and with the upright handles means you can grab both with one hand and carry it around like a shopper bag.

It has ventilation holes at the bottom so there’s better air circulation underneath the mattress, keeping the bottom fresh. The mattress has a good firmness and the cover can be removed for washing.

The basket is of a good size, with a good room for a baby to grow. Not sure how long a baby can stay in it, maybe a short couple of months. But this is a well made and durable product , it should last for a long time and can be passed down to another user easily.

It’s available on Amazon for 99 at the time of writing, which may seem a little bit on the pricey side. However I’m quite pleased with its quality and durability, it’s an easy recommendation from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stylish, durable and practical.

At the time of this review this Moses basket is 99.95. It arrives in the biggest box, and comes extremely well packaged inside. Everything is in a clear bag. Then in another bag inside, to keep everything clean, the legs although don’t look the strongest in the picture are really quite sturdy and the simplicity of them make the whole basket look really lovely. I was expecting the basket itself to be really flimsy but it’s very very sturdy. It has a little flexibility to it but it’s really robust whilst still being soft to touch. The width of the material is about a finger tips width, so gives you an idea of how strong the sides are. there is a good mattress included and this too is wrapped separately inside. There are ventilation holes on the underside of the basket, so underneath the mattress to stop any mould etc developing. Overall for the price this is a really beautiful basket, the type that you would have in the living room for during the day. Really superb quality and just looks perfect when setup.

I ordered this Moses basket for my sister Emma.

Arrived in amazon box, removed from box the Moses basket was inside a no-frills bag with mattress and stand inside, stand in separate box.

First impression was it is quite basic and was concern how flimsy Moses’s basket is as has no supports.

Once set up on stand and tested strength of basket the product grew on me.

Simplistic design is actually very modern and very well made, perfect for keeping newborn by your bed. Able to check up on baby with transparent cut out in the side.

Quality sealed mattress and solid robust stand makes the prefect Moses basket.

Overall, ignore first impressions as this is a truly a quality modern Moses’s basket made from a quality known brand. Great value for money complete set with mattress and stand included for less than 100.

    I would recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a very good Moses basket with stand. The basket is very sturdy and robust, will last a very long time. Generous size for baby to sleep in. Comes with a quality mattress which is thick and soft. There are ventilation holes in the bottom of the basket for air circulation. Another great feature is the mesh inserts in the side, you can view baby easily while sleeping. Easy to move around your house but does need two hands to hold both the handles. The stand was easy to put together and is a nice shade of grey. Feels sturdy and safe when assembled and the basket is in place. On the whole an excellent basket and stand. Very modern and trendy looking

As a user of a variety of Moses baskets over the years from Mamas & Papas wicker, to maize, I was quite keen on checking out this one as it looks sleek, minimalist and very uniquely chic.

    Material:

It’s made of a single piece of recycled felt fabric minus additional pieces which gives it such a lovely unison design. The felt is not described as wool, and the fact that its recycled gives the impression that this felt comes from a manmade synthetic material.

    Construction:

Solidly built using thicker, stiff felt to give it structure and strength meaning that the Moses handles are actually fully usable with the any in there.
The base of the Moses basket is neatly puncture with a collection of holes to keep the felt, light and airy. whether the mattress topper, plus the fitted sheet allows the felt to do any real ‘breathing’ from the bae is another matter.

There are a set of ovals – one on either side of the basket as a viewing window which also allows for baby to get a steady supply of ambient air. I like the simple yet highly effective design and I don’t think it would pale in comparison in terms of durability compared to wicker or grass/maize baskets which also start to look worse for wear after some good use, especially if you like to use the Moses handles to move the basket around throughout the day as we do.

We have a lot of guests and to minimise disruption to the new addition, we tend to leave baby in the Moses and transport him from upstairs to downstairs to the awaiting baby visitors. I follow the Gina Ford routine so guests know what to expect when they visit and are always welcome.

    The Build:

The instructions were minimal, but the design was not very complicates, even for someone that has little in the way go DIY knowledge. We didn’t need any special tools. Everything you need is included in the set.
    One word of warning:
Metal bearings were not included and the softwood is prone to damage if the screws are overtightened, so try to keep the tightening to a minimum until you’re absolutely sure of the correct positioning of the different lengths of wood.

    Overall:

We love the design and the subtle understated colours. Of all the years of having kids, this is one of the sleekest looking Moses baskets we’ve had. In fact, an unexpected visitor commented on how unusually unique our Moses basket was.

It is larger than others I’ve seen and features mesh side windows and good handles. The stand is made of beech and is really sturdy. The price is reasonable for the quality and your baby will feel safe and comfortable.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersUpdate Feb 2023:

Our little girl stayed in this Moses basket till she was 7 months, which was an impressive amount of time, she has finally outgrown it now and is in her cot, but the basket itself lasted well and we didn’t have any issues with it at all. We have a few other babies on the way in the family so i look forward to offering this to one of them, as it still looks like new and only needs a new mattress (you should always have a new mattress for each baby) But all in all we were very happy with it and still happy to recommend it!

    Please see original review bellow:

I was quite excited to review this Moses basket, not only because we have a 12 week old who is rapidly outgrowing her original basket, but also because I’m self employed and make bags out of wool felt, so it ticked all the boxes!
So it says this in the description, but to those who may not know their felt lingo as well as me, felt made from 100% recycled materials is plastic felt and not wool felt and I can confirm after having this in my hands and having a quick look at the snuz website that it is a recycled plastic felt. This is in no way a bad thing you just need to be aware that it is not wool!
It is also a stiffened felt, so if you are expecting a sumptuous super soft felt it is not that, although for safety reasons you can completely understand why. You want it to be stable to keep baby in the basket and also not flop over onto them which may cause a SIDS incident so I think that they have gone for a great decision making it out of a stiffened felt. This does bring me onto my only slight criticism which is the edges around the handles and top are a tad sharp to the touch, but I get why as you are using stiffened felt which as in its name is stiff… But I’m not overly worried about it as baby isn’t getting their hands up that high anyway.
There are also some ventilation windows on the sides as well as some breathing holes underneath the mattress (included)
The basket is quite a bit bigger than our old one which means we can have our youngest, Lorna, (12 weeks) in the main room for another few weeks before we have to play musical bedrooms with our five year old which is a bit of a relief!
Another good addition is the base which was easy to assemble, just make sure you get the cross pieces with the webbing on them the right way round, as they only fit one way with the X pieces offsetting the webbing strips by the width of the wood. The base itself is all real wood, which for 100 I was not expecting, and expected a laminate job, but it is not and its all nicely machined and all the screws fitted nicely.
Its a lovely Scandinavian style design and will look great in any minimalist room, as well as the fact that its easy to carry about, although we haven’t done so with our daughter in it I must confess.
I also had a quick scan on amazon after already looking before our daughter arrived and it was defiantly the one I would have gone for if it was available when we brought the older one, and although this is a free item in exchange for an honest review I would have been very happy parting with 100 for it 3 or 4 months ago. Anyway I don’t want this to sound like a sales pitch I just quite like it, i’ve done a quick review video which hopefully gives you a better idea of the materials and size, sorry about the state of my workshop floor, but I hope you still find it helpful!

This is such a lovely moses basket, I absolutely love the design, the grey colour is neutral, suitable for any gender and matches our colour scheme well.

We wanted something higher up for our little one to sleep in to save bending over the cot and this is ideal, it is suitable up to 9KG and is fairly long so should last a while. I like that the sides are ventilated, the baby can see through them and you know if they press against them that it is still easy to breathe.

Upon arrival you need to assemble to stand, there’s an alun key provided and the whole thing took my partner around 10 minutes, there’s clear instructions and once up it is very sturdy. The moses basket also comes with the mattress so you don’t need to buy anything additional to use this.

Recommended, lovely basket and stand, looks gorgeous in nursery and seems very comfortable.

When I went maternity shopping I avoided the Snuz as I thought their range was on the smaller side for the price. But having received this basket I was especially surprised how roomy it was for my growing newborn. And he settled in there with no fuss without swaddling or cocooning in the day. The basket is made from a very thick rigid felt. With breathable holes in the base and a mesh panel on both sides for visibility and airflow. There’s nothing in the manual to say you can’t pick the basket by the handles with baby in it for a short distance. The handles are short and rigid and part of the body of the basket. And from a safety point of view you’re forced to hold it with two hands apart. So you can be sure you have gripped the basket properly. It does feel a lot more safe than the palm and woven baskets due to its breathability, size, rigidness, build and how it forces you to handle the basket with both hands. The basket is also a lot lighter than the woven baskets. This will definitely last longer than the traditional woven basket as it’s a lot wider and longer, and all the covers I had fits the Snuz mattress as well. The Next 2 Me is still bigger but it’s perfect for settling baby down in the day for naps. I have the legs in a natural colour. I was expecting a lighter oak yellow colour but it looks more like a peach beechwood. It still looks really nice and well made with a slight varnished finish. My only wish is the the stand comes with a rocker option as this basket is too wide for the Claire De Lune rocker which is really good for making baby sleepy.

An extremely lightweight moses basket by Snuz. This SnuzBaskit is light grey material and has a grey painted wooden stand. Very easy to put together and can be used straight away. A mattress is also provided. It’s definitely different to any other moses basket on the market. There’s a carry handle on both sides of the basket and there’s also a mesh window on either side so the baby can see out of the basket if laying on their side. This also makes it more breathable. Made from 100% recycled material. Maximum baby weight is 20kg. Very sturdy but slightly pricy.

This is more expensive than your traditional Moses baskets but includes so many well-thought out design features, it’s easy to see why:

    – much bigger than your standard Moses basket which is perfect for those of us with bigger babies who grow out of the smaller baskets within 8 weeks! This one will last much longer, and has a weight capacity all the way up to 20lb.
    – the material is a lovely soft felt, far nicer than wicker. It comes with a liner which can be removed for easy cleaning.
    – the side has a breathable mesh window, which helps alleviate any suffocation fears, and helps you see into the basket from the side, if you want to check they’re sleeping without looming over the top and waking them up.
    – the stand does come as a flat pack for ease of transportation, however the instructions are easy to follow and it only needs assembling once! It is a shame it only comes with a static stand, it would be nice if a rocking stand were available in future (as it won’t fit standard stands due to the size)

    Really very happy to recommend

As a new parent, one of the things that you have to think about is where your baby is going to sleep. There are so many different options on the market, and it can be difficult to figure out which one is right for you and your family. I recently had the opportunity to try out the Snuz SnuzBasket, and I was not disappointed. Here’s what I thought about it.

    Ease of Use:
This basket was very easy to set up. It came with clear instructions, and I was able to put it together in just a few minutes. The basket itself is lightweight and easily portable, so I can move it from room to room as needed. I also appreciate that it comes with a stand, so I don’t have to worry about finding a place to put it when my baby is sleeping.

    Comfort and Safety:
My baby seems very comfortable in the Snuz SnuzBasket. There is plenty of room for her to move around and stretch out. I also like that the sides are made from breathable mesh, so I know she won’t overheat while she’s sleeping. The basket feels sturdy and well-made, so I am confident that my baby is safe while she’s sleeping in it.

    Overall Thoughts:
I am really happy with the Snuz SnuzBasket. It was easy to set up and is very comfortable and safe for my baby. I would definitely recommend it to other parents who are looking for a Moses basket for their newborn.

    Conclusion:
If you are looking for a Moses basket for your newborn, I would strongly recommend the Snuz SnuzBasket. It was easy to set up, is very comfortable and safe, and is reasonably priced. 5/5

    Lovely little bassinet.
Lightweight, it’s light enough to move it around without struggle.
A simple structure, not overly mechanical which can be a nightmare to figure out and then have a tendency to break.
Strong and sturdy legs, I have no concerns that its in any danger of buckling.
Aesthetically very pleasing, the all grey effect fits in with the decor of my house so it didn’t stand out like a sore thumb.
Very happy with this item overall.

What a lovely Moses basket!! So much nicer that the woven ones of the past, so much easier to clean, really spacious and comfy, I absolutely love the little windows to see baby, my only moan is the fact you have to assemble the base which the instructions estimate at 30 mins however tool myself and my daughter in law about an hour trying to figure it out, we both have ADHD though so not great with instructions, however the manual had step by step instructions with pictures which is always great to have a visual, once assembled it’s sturdy, really modern lovely looking, currently priced at 99.99 so on the more expensive side

I am very surprised how lightweight it is and when I want to move it around the house it is very easy to do so.
I really like the design and the colours of this Snuz basket.
It took me only few minutes to assemble the stand of the moses basket and put the basket on top.
I like the material of the moses basket and I like that it comes with a mattress so there is no need to buy one separately.
The basket itself is pretty large in size and larger than many other baskets.
This means that it can be used for a bit longer period.
The basket fairly sturdy made and has a Maximum weight of the child: 9 kg (20lbs),which is not bad at all.
The basket has 2 side windows so you can see your little one without the need to stand up to see.
The price of the moses basket is 99.95 at the moment, which is a great price for what you get.
Overall it is great quality moses basket and I recommend it.

Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
