Great Sound and Comfort, but Cable Management Needs Improveme
I recently purchased the product linked above and found it to be impressive overall. The sound quality is excellent, providing crisp and immersive audio. The headphones are comfortable for extended use. However, the cable tends to tangle easily, which can be inconvenient. Despite this issue, the build quality is good, and additional features like in-line controls and a microphone add value. With improved cable management, these headphones would be even better.

I have been using this for more then a year now and I have no complaints at all. It has been a fantastic set of headphones. The only issue is wire twist so I will eventually invest in the wireless versio

These are fab. Yes not the cheapest headset. But you get what you pay for. My son got me to order them for Christmas, when they came he’s stopping about as he has an xbox series s and he said its for ps5/pc (he didn’t check before I purchased them)
But guess what? they work on it. Even though some reviews say they don’t.
So he highly recommends them. (me I know nothing about technology this is his review)
Amazing product just don't install Sonar Stellseries GG drivers
Sound quality is beyond amazing. The best headphones i ever owned. Really easy setup and works straight away. Beware Sonar Stellseries GG software drivers for your pc. Messes sound quality badly. After i installed drivers it caused Audio distortion and computer and sound LAG. Also Drivers really hard to get rid of them. So i reinstalled windows. I connected them again and everything is perfect now.
Firstly, I have wanted a pair of arctis pros for about 2 years, so you can imagine I really wanted to like these. I bought this headset to use on my pc for some gaming, also for movies, music, but also for my ps5. This is my main gaming platform.
Using the headset on the pc was excellent. Sound is crisp and clear, and can be edited to your liking. This goes for music and movies too. The high Def sound quality is very nice too. The outside noise however, is really apparent whilst using these. I can hear birds chirping outside, and my window is slightly open, so it’s not the best for blocking out any background noise. This isn’t something that would bother me much though, so I can live with this.
When it came to using the headset and gamedac on the ps5, firstly, using the ps5 via USB only mode worked fine. I could not get used to the 3d tempest audio though, but I suppose that is subjective and not something I could blame on a specific headset. Again, so far, nothing I would consider a deal breaker.
Using the ps5 via an optical solution is my preferred choice, as I have used DTS:X headphones since my first set so I have got used to the sound. The DTS:X sounded great, but nothing I would say differs from other brands offering a similar sound setting. Again, that is subjective. The quality of the sound is amazing in all games. Probably the best I have experienced to date for a gaming headset. However when trying to create an FPS style equaliser setting, where you would try and enhance the footsteps, reloads, loot boxes and alike, you are able to enhance the frequencies made by these sounds, however they become too loud to bear and actually hurt my ears, so I have to reduce the volume, which doesn’t really work for me as other sounds become too quite to hear. A dynamic range compressor would fix this issue, however for some reason SteelSeries do not offer this solution on their flagship model, but I believe they offer this on a couple of models like the 7p. I have been through countless forums and it appears users who have raised this with SteelSeries have been advised it’s not likely to come to the acrtis pro gamedac via an update.
The final flaw and deal breaker for me was that the equaliser settings also affects my friend’s chat voices. So when I change the values on the equaliser, not only is the game sound is affected (as you would expect), but also your friends’ voices are affected, which means those frequencies in the game that you’re trying to enhance through the equaliser, is also enhancing the same frequencies in the chat voices too, which is counter productive to what I needed the equaliser to do.
Mostly I play online with friends, so chat is also a big factor I need to take into consideration when buying a headset. I don’t play much single player games anymore so for my use case, this headset isn’t for me. There are other headsets which are able to change the game sound eq and not affect the chat voices as a result, as well as offer some sound compression, and these little issues bothered me too much, so I have returned the headset to buy a different one.
The subtle flaws I have experienced were not something I have seen on any review, which is why I have taken some time to write down my experience, so it may be something which someone else may also find a deal breaker in a gaming headset, but won’t know until they have it their hands and are try using it on a ps5.
Overall though a fantastic headset, but just not for me.
Ignore the build quality reviews. I’ve had to manually destroy a SteelSeries headset as part of RMA and it wasn’t easy to break. I don’t know what these people are doing to their headsets!
I’ve had an Arctis 5 for years and it’s done me well. I wanted something more premium – so after trying Asus ROG and the AR40 (total disappointments) I went for the ‘premium’ SteelSeries experience.
Wow! Amazing punchy bass, crystal clear highs and balanced mids. The game DAC is really easy to use and functional. The only thing letting it down is the newer headband design. Not the most comfortable for big heads – but it can be adjusted.

Ich bewerte heute voller Freude mein neues Gaming Headset, ich verwende es jetzt schon ber ein Monat und hatte mir als Reverenz auch das Astro A40 Nachhause geholt, dieses hatte ich ein paar Tage vorher bekommen es war auch die Version mit dem Audiodag.
Das Astro A40 hat mir von der Soundqualitt sehr gut gefallen die Lautstrke jedoch war eher enttuschend.
Dann hab ich endlich mein Steelseries Arktis Pro mit Audiodag bekommen und war gespannt wie das funktioniert, nach dem gensslichen Auspacken und installieren hab ich es dann mal mit Musik ausprobiert und ich war begeistert ein tolles Klangbild und auch eine Lautstrke wie ich es mir gewnscht habe, man kann aber auch leise spielen und Musik hren und hat einen schnen ausgewogenen Klang.
Das Mikrofon funktioniert auch sehr gut und man hat fast keine Verluste bei der Sprachqualitt!
Kurz gesagt ich bin vollkommen zufrieden und es war jeden Euro Wert!

I have been told that the microphone sounds crystal clear by my friend, the build quality is top notch, very high quality product, the GameDAC creates amazing audio quality, I am in love with these headphones!
The lighting effects on the headphones add a nice effect and I really like it, the headphones are comfy, the clamp force is good, they do not hurt my head with too much pressure like the beyadynamics ones.
I decided to use the Hi-Res Audio option with DTS Sound Unbound app on Windows Store, so I can use both the HQ Audio as well as the DTS Function while the app that comes with it only allows you to have DTS on without the HQ Audio on, it sounds amazing!
The packaging was great, very good looking and splendid to open, I have never brought any steelseries products except for a mousepad and based off of this, I will definatly be buying more steelseries products in the future should I need more products because this company is amazing, the support was also great when I had a question, they responded super fast!
I really like them because the sound quality is very great. It also comes with surround sound, and the audio can be adjusted through the gamedac. It helps me when i am playing games, because the 3d sound lets me know where the enemies are. The only thing that i suggest is to tighten the volume control wheel on the back because it sometimes lowers my volume, although i do not mind this. Other than that, it is a great pair of headphones.

Ich habe vorher das Arctis7 Wireless gegen das Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE getestet und mich fr das Virtuoso entschieden, weil der Sound von dem A7 Mic leider Crap ist. Das Virtuoso war eigentlich geil, aber irgendwie war ich nich 100%ig happy, weil die Kiste schon bisschen schwer ist und die Arctis irgendwie geiler sitzen – also hab ich noch mal das Arctis Pro + GameDAC probiert, auch wenn ich eigentlich keinen Bock auf Kabel hatte.
Und zack, umentschieden! Der Speaker Sound is suuper nice, das Mic ist von der Soundqualitt her wesentlich besser als beim A7 Wireless. Das Handling vom DAC ist wirklich schn gemacht, auch die Mglichkeit zwischen Game Sound und Sprachchat zu pegeln ist echt geil.
Fr Einige wird der Preis etwas happig sein, aber meiner Meinung nach, ists wirklich gut investiert.

Excuse the dust and stuff on the headphones they’ve been sitting in my room for a bit now but picture says it all really. I take good care of the things I purchase because it’s just good practice but these things literally fell apart as i wore them after about 2 years of use. Other than that they served me pretty well, had good audio for anyone not better informed on what good audio is and a decent microphone and the other features are nice too

Gi contentissimo del marchio steelseries perch ho ricevuto in regalo dalla mia ragazza un paio di Arctis 7, con questo (da lei nuovamente regalato) si andati persino oltre. Gioco quasi sempre ad FPS, dove l’audio importantissimo. veramente possibile percepire con chiarezza ogni minimo suono. Il suono molto potente. Il DAC lo trovo, oltre che esteticamente bello, abbastanza utile perch permette di gestire le proprie impostazioni e personalizzazioni. In sostanza, le straconsiglio, probabilmente sono le migliori cuffie da gaming in commercio.

Was soll ich sagen, das Headset stellt alle anderen Headsets in den Schatten. Egal ob astro, razer oder andere.
Ich habe viele getestet, da ich hunt showdown zocke ist Sound fr mich essentiell. Schritte sind aus groer Entfernung schon genau zuzuordnen.
Ohne groe Einstellungen funktioniert dies schon wunderbar.
Es ist natrlich auch viel Spielerei dabei aber das braucht natrlich jeder Technikliebhaber.
Klare Kaufempfehlung fr jeden der viel Wert auf sauberen und klaren Sound legt.

Vengo de tener unos hyperx por bloototh de gama alta pero estos se llevan la palma, el game dac le da una calidad bestial son muy cmodos y despus de un tiempo utilizndolos es una de las mejores compras que he adquirido por Amazon, steelseries hacen muy bien su trabajo, los componentes de alta calidad son increbles recomiendo su compra siempre y cuando ahorreis pero sin ninguna duda nos os arrepentiris

Dieses Headset schlgt alle. Die Leute die von “zu geringer Lautstrke” sprechen haben einfach die Bedienungsanleitung nicht gelesen: An der Ohrmuschel ist nochmals ein versteckter Lautstrkeregler.
Ich spiele Titel mit nativen binauralem Ton (Hunt Showdown) wo Tonortung extrem wichtig ist. Habe also nur HiFi an – ohne Surround DTS. Der absolute Hammer!
brigens: Viele moderne Titel bieten bereits integrierten binauralem Ton an. Zustzliche Surround-Einstellungen verflschen diesen nur. Weniger ist manchmal mehr.
Sound on these are brilliant and couldn’t recommend anymore, but this is what I expect when getting Steelseries when it comes to sound quality and engineering.
The one issue with has resulted in a 4 star is the headset size itself. The headset is quite small and for people with maybe medium to larger heads will find that the headset itself will rest on their head rather than just the band like in previous models (Arctic 3)
If there was one thing I could recommend Steelseries could take to future model, it would be to make sure there is room for wearing them comfortably. It just seems like a step back from a brilliant series of products.

In most headphones, the mute button is not actually connected directly to the hardware, so sometimes when you mute yourself, others can still hear you. But with these, it's a direct mute and there can't be leaked, cos the hardware is stopped.

Well worth the money and works on more than just games consoles. Once you configure the EQ to your liking, it’s a fantastic experience. I now have the wired and wireless arctis pro and both are great, but wired is better imo.
I have lots of headphones and tried out all the ones that had a wired option on the DAC and the results were impressive. You could even plug 2 headphones in at the same time and it worked flawlessly. 5 stars
he price in my opinion is a bit much for what u get, the overall sound quality and the mic quality is very good but the overall build quality in some parts is a bit iffy, and I find that the arctis 5 headset is overall a more comfortable headset and better for the money, the gamedac is overpriced but easy to use and a good product overall as well
the headband for me hurts my head after a while and I find myself readjusting the headset more often than the arctis 5, so for those extra long gaming sessions it does hurt my head by the end
overall I do recommend this product but I don’t think it is worth the price and I would recommend getting it on sale or just buy the arctis 5
Dem Gegner einen Schritt voraus!
Nach nun ber einen Jahr Nutzung kann ich sagen, dass es sich um ein Top Headset handelt.
Verarbeitung, Sound, Bedienung alles einwandfrei.
Das Gamedac funktioniert auch tadellos, man kann bequem auch PC Sound und Konsolen Sound verbinden alles ohne Probleme.
Ich hatte als Vergleich, vorher ein Headset von Astro nmlich das A50, mit dem ich auch sehr zufrieden war, aber dieses hier steht dem in absolut nichts nach und das zum besseren Preis!
Hauptschlich nutze ich das Headset, fr Ego-Shooter Spiele, wofr es sich perfekt eignet! Der Sound ist klar und man hrt was man hren muss nmlich die Schritte der Gegner! 😉
Ab und zu nutze ich es auch wenn ich Serien und Filme schaue aber auch da keine Probleme.
Man kann also sagen das Headset ist seinen Preis wert, uneingeschrnkte Empfehlung!
Great set. Note setup for pc might be confusing, makes available two devices; one for coms and the other as speaker. Make sure to set the coms default, and speaker for everything else.
Also the volume control on the headet itself is separate from all other controls so make sure to turn that up. Microphone is almost too good.
Headband is tiny. Would have thought my head was a medium, but after adjusting the nice ski band, the structural band almost sits on my head.
The sound is very very good.
I had a HyperX pair and compared to that one this is a pair that is worldclass . If you play any fps at a higher level it helps a bit as the sound is very spot on . Steelseries as always you haven`t let down someone that has used your headphones since the Steelseries Siberia days .
Pas assez isolant, mais sinon très agréable
Un casque confortable, qui ne coupe pas totalement le son de l’environnement extrieur.
La prsence sonore est bonne. Le petit boitier est pratique, notamment pour piloter le son d’un jeu et la puissance du chat vocal. Il y a un bouton facile trouver sur le casque pour passer le micro en mute (il s’allume alors d’une lumire personnalisable). D’ailleurs le micro se rentre dans le casque, c’est plus esthtique quand il ne sert pas.
J’enlve une toile car le cble n’est pas remplaable en cas de casse et mme s’il est puissant, j aurais bien aim qu’il le soit un peu plus ou alors qu’il isole mieux de l’environnement extrieur car sur certains logiciels de communication, ils faut pousser fond le casque et les rglages. C’est moins le cas dans les jeux mais je note quand mme une diffrence par rapport d’autres casques milieu de gamme.
Pensavo meglio
Ero convinto dopo un lungo periodo di scelta che fossero un buon articolo. Ma dopo un tot di mesi hanno iniziato a fare problemi. Un ronzio elettronico ogni 10 sec. Un problema fastidioso dovuto a non so cosa. Dovevo riavviare la play per resettarle. Comode si, leggere si, l amp utile e intuibile. Non le ricomprero pi col cavo.

Man ber eine Capture Card streamen mchte,
Damit man Gamesound und Chat von einander
Getrennt aufnehmen will. Ist aber ein Problem

Wiedergabequalitt bei Musik und Filmen ist
Sehr gut. Hier hatte ich mit anderen Headsets
Deutlichere Probleme.
Kontra: leider habe ich schon jetzt aktuell mein drittes Headset. Die beiden vorherigen gingen Retour. Problem lag an der Verbindung von Rechter Ohrmuschel zum Kopfbgel. Da ist mir bei beidenmalen die Ohrmuschel abgebrochen.
Leider gibt es das Ohrmuschel Gehuse nicht als Ersatzteil. Der Wechsel der Kunstoffschale wre in 5 min erledigt.
Fazit: in meinen Augen das beste 7.1 Headset was ich bis jetzt besessen habe. Gerade fr PS5 ist es mit der 3D Sound Untersttzung sehr gut geeignet. Die Mikrofon Qualitt ist sehr gut. Meine Kollegen im Chat haben noch nie gesagt das etwas brummt, kratzt, zu leise oder andere Strungen aufgetreten sind.
Great audio but not so good mic
I play a lot of valorant which requires a good headset for audio to listen for your enemies. These headphones are perfect for the audio but the mic isn’t the best. You get two batteries which I love and you’re able to change the settings to suit your liking
does the job, not too bassy, but with decent bass, clarity and even levels are the name of the game here, which is what you want for gaming headpones tbh, well made, robust, wont break on you, last ages and does everything you need it to with amazing sound, compared to others on the market i would recommend these over all others when it comes to quality, function and bang for your buck. they look fairly sick too without falling into the trap of a lot of gaming products where they try and make it look crazy and over the top, the more subdued aesthetic design is more sensible so you feel like less of a jackass wearing these.

Ho usato questo headset per un anno su PC.
Design molto pulito, semplice e davvero efficace, i vari tasti funzione come la rotellina o il pulsante per disattivare/attivare il microfono sono facili da individuare e da utilizzare.
Sono composte in plastica di ottima qualit e sono davvero comodissime, le ho utilizzate anche per 6 ore di fila senza nessun problema, in pi i padiglioni sono in tessuto traspirante e permettono di superare il periodo estivo tranquillamente.
Fantastico l’archetto che poggia sulla testa formato dalla caratteristica fascia di questa serie di headset marchiati steelseries, anch’esso comodissimo.
Per quanto riguarda il comparto audio nulla da eccepire. Essendo progettate per giocare hanno dei bassi pi brillanti ,cos come gli alti, mentre i medi mantengono un buon livello.
Dispongono di un surround VIRTUALE 7.1 che io consiglio di utilizzare in giochi come red dead redemption e similari ma non in giochi FPS come Rainbow six siege in cui consiglio di giocare in modalit stereo poich ,come in TUTTI gli headset, il 7.1 va un po’ ad “impastare” le varie frequenze (e ci non vuole assolutamente dire che l’audio non sia buono)
Il microfono ha una buona qualit per essere quello di un headset da gaming e in oltre dotato di un led sulla parte finale ( sono presenti led anche intorno alla scocca esterna dei padiglioni) che pu essere modificato a proprio piacimento tramite l’apposito software scaricabile dal sito steelseries.
In fine il dac funziona bene anche se ogni tanto uno dei due canali audio (gaming e chat) scompariva ma nulla di drammatico, nel mio caso bastava staccare e riattaccare il filo che collegava il dac al computer o alle cuffie.
Ma magari stato solo un problema di incompatibilit mio.
Tutto sommato un ottimo headset, assolutamente consigliato ma magari non al prezzo di listino, (io l’ho comprato per circa la met).
