Lining a shed 10×10 for what’s in the box is enough the staple gun is pretty good and comes with enough staples haven’t used any tape as yet . I thought the Amazon packaging was a little over the top the actual item come in a fairly big box but Amazon put it in another bigger box way bigger NO NEED!

The “Shed Insulation Kit” from “SuperFOIL” is a all-in-one set for installing insulation into your shed, summerhouse, or similar.

Inside the set you literally have everything you need, including the heavy-duty stapler which you need to secure the foil insulation to the shed beams.

Installing the insulation is all pretty straight forward, however, the set does provide you with instructions and tips.

The foil insulation itself is thinner than I expected. Not that it’s so thin that it’ll rip or tear easily or anything like that. However, I kind of expected it to be somewhat thicker and more padded than it is.

That said, the effect of the insulation appears to be excellent. In my summer house the insulation has really helped to keep the warmth within the structure, whilst also providing effective air pass-through ventilation between the beams which it sits across.

What’s also great is that the set also includes some strong foil tape for seamlessly securing two panels of insulation together. This foil tape is itself incredibly strong and robust, with a great adhesive side ensuring even in hot conditions, the foil tape will continue to secure the insulation panels to each other.

All in all a great quality and effective kit for insulating your shed or summerhouse with. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning to add insulation to such spaces.

Good foil for insulation. I’ve actually used some behind my radiators as well. Easy to cut to size and good amount in the pack.

Used for our cabin windows when shutting it down for the winter.

I’ve used this to insulate a couple of things, first of all my loft hatch which for some insane reason was just a thin piece of wood, and I’ve also built an outdoor shelter for a stray cat that came with the house.

I’m actually very impressed with it in both cases, considering it’s so thin it does a very impressive job of containing the heat. With just a small reptile heater on a thermostat, this keeps his little cat house (internally it’s about 40/40/100cm) around 19C even when it’s freezing outside – and my loft hatch is no longer cold to the touch.

The staples worked ok, I’ve got a staple gun so I ended up using that because it’s quicker. The fewer staples you can use the better.

You get everything that you need to install this insulation kit. The package and the wastage of cardboard were far bigger than required.

The three rolls are thick but light weight and are easy to install. I needed to staple many pins to cover my shed. The build quality of the whole insulation kit is excellent.

I significantly noticed the difference after insulating the shed. I keep my cycle and lots of other stuff in the shed and feel like those will last better at slightly higher temperature.

I have a small shed and i managed to finish it with two rolls. I feel that the set should comfortably insulate small sheds. The cost however feels higher than market.

In the package you get 3 x 7mx1m rolls of foil insulation. Foil tape for the joins and also a stapler to fix the foil to your shed.

At 3 mm thick it takes up
No room at all from your walls but makes a surprising difference.

I have used mine to line the inside shed roof with to stop heat escaping from that and the rest I have used to line the back of my radiators with to reflect the heat back onto the room and not into the brickwork. Works fantastic.

Easy to cut and work with and covers quick let and easily. Heavy duty foil insulation normally comes on a 12m2 roll and costs around 120 so with this you are getting 21m2 for 99 so comparatively not a bad price.

You feel the benefit cost wise over a period of time and not immediately so may seem expensive outlay upfront but works out pennies over the years.

Overall a great little bundle for the price.

I’m currently in the process of having a shed and summer house built in my back garden (my fathers retirement mini project at my house), so was very excited to be ordering this and couldn’t be more pleased.

So dad is the mastermind behind all my DIY (my skills are beyond rubbish), so he was keen to get this in the summer house when it’s arrived. I’ve asked him for pointers for the review which I’ll provide below:

Really good kit as it comes with everything you’ll need (nice little surprise to have the staple gun and tape included). Really easy to install, but a simple bit of YouTube/googling with help support anyone using this for the first time to make sure you’re getting it right. Doesn’t take that long to get it installed at all- I personally thought it would take dad all day to do it (which it didn’t).

I asked dad if it looked good quality, as it’s the first time I’m looking at this type of item and he said it did indeed look very good quality.

It’s really difficult to comment on whether or not it works well as insulation without testing it out in all seasons in my opinion. However I’m currently feeling really hopeful with this one.

At first 100 seems a bit pricey, but actually if it protects the space a bit from the elements and allows you to utilise the space a bit more, then I think it’s 100% worth it.

Overall we’ve been pleased with this and happy to recommend. You receive plenty so is perfect for things like sheds.

Easy to use, excellent staple gun included. I used it in my shed and the difference is immediately felt (though it is still not too cold outside) However I’m sure it will have a big difference on my energy bills.
The bubble foil is simple and easy to cut to size. You don’t need to be the town’s best handyman to apply to the walls. These are good for walls, and roofs but not for floor insulation.

Despite the product being thin, it insulates really well. It’s lightweight so easy to manoeuvre and install even on your own. The kit is handy with the staple gun and extra roll for gaps. It is easy to cut down to size. However it is expensive compared to what else you can buy.

This insulation arrived in a huge box. The rolls are 1 meter wide and 7 meters long, and 3 rolls are included. The rolls are only 3mm thick, but you’d be surprised how well it insulates despite this, and it is super light and easy to apply. It is fully waterproof and non-permeable so it works great as a damp-proof barrier in addition to heat insulation – exactly what I needed for insulating my basement roof and, although I haven’t finished installing it all yet, it’s already made a huge difference to the temperature in the house.

This kit is pretty expensive in my opinion, but it is very practical as everything you need to install it is included: the rolls, a staple gun including staples, and foil tape. Also as the rolls are so wide and long, you have less joints in need of taping up which could potentially let moisture through. I think the added convenience and practicality make it worth the additional cost.

I’m only a bit disappointed that the roll of foil isn’t bigger – you’ll definitely need more than the single small roll provided if you want to seal all gaps.

eally convenient, just a bit expensive

Superfoil shed insulation appears to be silver foil backed bubble wrap.
It’s pretty thin so while it will probably reflect some heat back into a shed it won’t provide a massive amount of insulation to a shed in very cold conditions.

The small air pockets will probably help hold a little heat and the foil will radiate any heat from a radiator or electric heater back into the room.

The kit comes with a stapler and seam tape, which is a nice touch. You also get three large rolls of Superfoil.

There are alternative uses for the product and this is where the Superfoil comes into its own.

It makes great radiator foil, you can cut it to size, double it’s thickness by folding it and you have enough foil to place behind every radiator in your house. With the staple gun you can install it in minutes. It works brilliantly installed behind your radiator helping reflect heat back into your house saving you money. For that very reason it’s a full five stars from me.

There will probably be enough for you to nip round to your Grans and do another house. Considering how much foil you get it’s pretty cost effective as radiator foil.

MAKES REALLY GOOD RADIATOR FOIL TOO

Really versatile kit, I am surprisingly impressed with it!

Comes with everything you need, even a staple gun to get it onto the walls! I wasn’t expecting that little extra!

Easy to do, instructions are easy to follow.

We used it for a shed in a garden that we use as a little pantry, and it was super easy to do!

The price is good, the product is quality and it was easy to use, cant go wrong!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am very excited to use this insulation kit that consists of 3 rolls of 1 meter wide and 7 meters long super-Foil wrap, self adhesive foil tape to seal up all the seems and joints. There is a very handy high quality staple gun with staples to fix insulation material to wooden shed with ease. You won’t need anything else for this project.

Yes have watched a video on YouTube and it’s really easy to just wrap all the insulation material using staple gun starting from bottom and horizontal layers. Once you sealed all the shed, use self adhesive foil tape to seal the seems and you will have a air tight, waterproof shed that you can keep warm and dry during winter months.

Kit is versatile material and will work with all shapes and sizes of shed etc. If your shed is bigger, you may need to order few extra rolls of insulation but I believe that for a normal size shed 3 rolls are more than adequate. Foil is like a bubble wrap and easy to cut and shape with scissors. It doesn’t take any extra room as I was looking at insulation sheets before and they are 4 inch deep so that’s like making my 6ft by 8ft shed even smaller. This is brilliant and it does exactly what it says in the description.

If you have a metal shed then perhaps you can use no nails quick grab silicone adhesive to stick the insulation wrap up to metal.

I am very impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it.

Easy to install and provide great insulation to my shed.

You receive a good box kit of insulation, comes in a large light box.

Included are 3 rolls of insulation, a staple gun with staples and a roll of tape.

This is a fairly thin foil, which makes in easy to roll out and fix.

Ideal for loft insulation, sheds and anything that needs that extra from drafts and chills.

My plan is the loft, however it only in the early stages of combustion and not ready for this yet.

Seems to have everything I need, insulation, staples and tape to fix the seems.

Seems to be excellent value and a quality produc

This is a pretty great insulation solution that comes with everything you need and it seems very effective. So the set comes with the three rolls of insulation, a staple gun, staples and some tape for sealing any connections, this is ideal for someone to get as a complete set to do the job with no other tools really needed, although you will probably still need a tape measure and something to cut the insulation unless you get very lucky and this fits your shed exactly without any cutting needed but I think that is to be expected.

The insulation is very light, it is bubble foil which I think is really just foil with air pockets inside to help improve thermal storage. The tools you get are fine, the staple gun works well and you get plenty of staples and the roll of tape is more than sufficient for most needs. The biggest issue I have with it is the price, this is basically 100 at the time of writing for 21m2 where you can get 15m2 of the same insulation for much less than half the price, the big difference is the tools you get in this kit which I struggle to see are worth the additional cost.

    SuperFOIL The Shed Insulation Kit

If you have a shed that you want to provide a little insulation to, then you have a complete kit here supplied with all the tools you need to install it. In the rather large but not so heavy box you will find 3 x 1 metre wide x 7 metre long rolls of insulation, along with a staple gun complete with staples and a roll of tape. There is enough insulation here to insulate a small shed around 6′ x 4′ or slightly larger.

The best way to describe this is to think of it as a foil bubble wrap, it is made from foil with plastic bubble wrap inside. The material is similar to that of a space blanket, a space blanket is used for protection from, or treating hypothermia when exposed to cold conditions. The double lined foil works by reflecting body heat (or any kind of heat), it also does the same by reflecting the cold. This can be used for all manner of applications. Due to the current energy crisis I can think of quite a few ways this can be used to help keep warm during the approaching winter.

This is so easy to install, it should only take a few hours to completely insulate an empty shed. Just cut the sheet into sizes for each area and staple to the walls and ceiling using the provided staple gun. Once installed just tape up the joins to finish the job. This will make a huge difference to the temperature inside a shed, it will also help prevent condensation too. Ideal if you have pets or animals in cages that you want to protect from the cold. Maybe use this to insulate the bird house in an aviary to help protect the birds from cold?.. So many potential uses!

If you have a use for this then there is 21 metres of 1 metre insulation here, the quality seems good to me.

    CONTENTS:

    3 x Rolls Of Insulation
    1 x Staple Gun
    1 x Box Of Staples
    1 x 30 metre Foil Tape

Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Rolls of sheet bubble wrap with foil covering, plus stapler for fixing to wood and tape for sealing joints.

This comes in a large box as you can imagine, but that came in an even larger Amazon box with lots of paper packaging. My rabbits were very happy about this.

The insulation is really light and easy to cut to shape. For loft or wooden shed insulation you can use the supplied stapler and staples to fix it in place. For affixing to plastic sheds and asbestos roof material, etc., you’ll have to use a good quality tape and/or glue. The tape supplied is really intended to seal the joins so no drafts can get through, but you can use it to tape the top of the insulation before gluing.

Not cheap by any means, but there’s enough to do a 7×6 shed and it’s very easy to use. It’s waterproof so won’t be affected by damp.

Surprisingly effective, I’ve lined the inside of my workshop roof (18mm chip board with EPDM rubber covering) and it’s keeping it much warmer now the temperature has dropped. Also it should prevent the roof getting too warm in the summer, so it’s a win-win. It also reflects light downwards, so seems a lot brighter in the workshop as well.

Oh, how I wish I’d known about these kits when we had our old wooden shed. It probably would have saved having to buy a new one. This is so easy to install and is sufficient to insulate 1 standard sized garden shed.

The kit is simple to use. There are 3 X 7 metre rolls of 1 metre wide superfoil insulation, a roll of joining tape and a staple gun with staples.

The whole kit comes in a compact box with everything needed (well, apart from scissors to cut it, maybe).

This does seem well made and theoretically should do a great job of protecting and keeping the cold out of sheds. This will prevent damp getting to bikes and other metal objects as well as stop other things getting too cold or rusty.

I have a blown plastic shed now, so I’m unsure if this will work with it due to how it’s fitted. I plan to get another wooden shed in the future though and this insulation will be going in it once built.

In this rather large box, you get 3x 7metre long by 1 metre wide rolls of insulation. The insulation is effectively something like foil covered bubble wrap. It’s very light, and quite thin. However it’s windproof and waterproof.
I decided to try and at least improve the insulation situation with my attic roof, which is very old and very draught up there.
A staple gun is included with a lot of staples, although manual rather than electric, it’s easy enough to use, and was able to attach the insulation to the wooden rafters without any issue.
There’s also some tape which can be used to seal the joints.
After having put up the insulation, my roof was a lot less draughtfy, and although it’s still a bit cold up there, it’s certainly a lot warmer than it was before. Hopefully this will help keep the room below a lot warmer over the coming winter.
Note that as well as roof rafters, this can also be used for sheds, and loft floor insulation.
At 100, it’s certainly not cheap, however I do feel it’ll probably payback for itself over time. Given how much heating will cost this winter, I feel everything will help, and this is certainly an easy DIY option…

Thin but effective insulation and draught exclusio
