Our garden is on the banks of the River Teifi and we have real herons so thought these would be a nice homage and more suitable than Japanese Cranes! They are really lovely and a couple of people who we sent the photos to thought the real ones had landed in the garden! Spookily the next day we did see two together on the river for the first time in two years! They are nicely finished and I almost dropped a star because of the ground stakes but couldn’t as they are so nice! The little hoops supplied are not nearly long enough so we used some proper heavy duty ground stakes bought for a gazebo.
I have to chuckle at the reviews that say they are not a deterrent as the worst thing you can do is put a fake heron by a pond – it attracts them! Herons see them and pop down to say hello!!

Fantastic quality, came with pins for grounding good length to secure well in the ground, very sturdy, easy to build and came well packaged.
