Bought for basic IR work this has been very useful. Lost a few points in the ranking because in the UI it always scales the temp scale to the limits of the current picture, so if you move from a pic that has a hotspot to a view with no hotspot you will still have a “hot” coloured area even though it was a lot cooler than the prior hotspot. It would be useful to have a mode where the temp scale was fixed.

Possdant la Flir One depuis quelques annes j’tais un peu du surtout par son autonomie (batterie se dchargeait trop vite). J’ai donc dcid d’acheter celle-ci. Vu qu’elle est alimente pas le smartphone la question d’autonomie ne se pose plus; elle est aussi beaucoup plus prcise et possde plus de fonctionnalits comme enregistrement d’une vido par exemple. Comme marqu dans d’autres commentaires il NE FAUT PAS FILMER LE SOLEIL car les traces restent visibles pendant quelques heures; cependant cela disparait au bout de quelques heures sans problme. Elle est petite et lgre donc trs pratique. Le plus c’est son prix pour une telle rsolution est dsormais abordable
Trs facile d’utilisation et trs prcis ; permet en un coup d’oeil d’avoir les informations recherches : ponts et fuites thermiques au niveau des murs et du toit ; chauffe des appareils lectriques… Pas d’alimentation autre que le telephone. Permet de conserver les images sur son telephone portable.

Only used this for a couple of days now but it’s already proven itself (electronics work).
It’s helped me to identify electronics getting hot and also where a dead short on the circuit board was.
Picture good, but obviously not amazing since these devices are a low pixel count, though this one is in the higher end of the affordability scale.
Worked seamlessly on win11 laptop. App easy to download and install.
App a little simple, no ability to capture a view, for example, but “print screen” button will do.
Would be nice to record a session (video).
But it worked without issue.
I did find it a little difficult to get the orientation correct, couldn’t figure out which way was ‘up’, I guess it’s oriented for being fitted to a landscape mobile phone?
Zunchst war ich hin und hergerissen, welche Wrmebildkamera ich mir anschaffen sollte, letztlich habe ich mich fr die TOPDON TC001 entschieden und bin uerst zufrieden mit der Kamera. Zum einen wre die super Verarbeitungsqualitt sowie die hohe Auflsung zum anderen wird eine kleine Transportbox/Tasche als auch ein Adapterkabel gleich mitgeliefert.
Die Software hat zwar potential nach oben aber grundstzlich kann man die Anzeige/Bilder gut auswerten/bewerten/einschtzen.
Bei der Windows-Software hat man keine Mglichkeit Bilder oder gar Videos zu speichern, es gibt zwar ein Button auf dem “save” steht und es wird auch etwas gespeichert (im Installationsverzeichnis werden im Unterordner “TempMatrix” “.raw” Dateien angelegt (siehe Screenshot)), allerdings habe ich bisher keine Mglichkeit gefunden diese Dateien zu ffnen, abgesehen von Photoshop aber dort sieht man dann nur ein “verrauschtes” Bild (siehe Screenshot).
In der Android-App ist das mit der Bild in Bild Funktion so eine Sache, sie funktioniert aber dies haben andere Anbieter besser gelst (siehe z.B. Flir), dann die Sache, dass man den Temperaturbereich nicht manuell einstellen kann, das im Querformat die Messwerte inkl. Legende nicht (automatisch) mitgedreht werden und in Warmenmessbereichen/hellen die Textfarbe der Messwerte nicht automatisch invertiert werden (weier Adler auf weiem Grund) ist auch nicht so der Hit.
Trotz der Kritikpunkte in der Software kann ich eine vllige Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.
I expect to have lots of uses for this in the future (checking insulation losses, overheating components on circuit boards etc), but I thought I’d share an unexpected recent use. I used it to locate a friend’s pet mice. Cleaning their cage used to be a very tense affair, because she never knew which cardboard tube they were hiding in, and they would sometimes leap out when the tube was disturbed. Now a warm orange glow reveals exactly where they are, so that the ends of the tube can be covered before temporarily relocating them!
Die TC001 war fr 255 hier ein echtes Schnppchen. Auch die unkomplizierte Nutzungsweise in Kombination mit einem (aktuell leistungsstarken) Handy (bei mir A53) hat als Plug-and-Play-Version einen gewissen Charme.
Ich habe die Kamera jetzt im Sommer zunchst einmal fr die selbst erstellte Solar-Anlage verwendet, um hier ggfls. eine berhitzung der Kabel unter Vollast (oder schlimmstenfalls niedriger Last) zu detektieren. Die Auflsung it vernnftig, Hotspots werden automatisch mit Temperatur versehen und es gibt eine groe Auswahl an mglichen Farbprofilen.
Eine Temperatur-Korrektur mit Eingabe von Abstrahlungs-Koeffizient, Umgebungstemperatur und Abstand zum Objekt ist auch mglich. Hier bin ich aber noch am Ausreizen, wie die Auswirkungen sind, und ob ich berhaupt eine genaue Temperatur bekomme.
Nach dem Studium verschiedener Internet-Bericht kam ich auch auf die DITI (Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging) bei Menschen und Tieren. Hier sehe ich weiteres Potential. Allerdings spielt hier die Software-App noch nicht so ganz mit.
Die Windows-App ist wirklich ganz rudimentr gehalten und nur ein geringer Abklatsch der Android-App.
Die wiederum hat ihre Schwchen in einer konstanten Zuordnung einer Temperatur zu einer Farbe. Dies ist nmlich nicht mglich.
Die oberste Farbe wird immer der hchsten Temperatur zugeordnet. Wenn der wrmste Punkt noch wrmer wird, ndert sich die Farbe dieses Punktes nicht, sondern nur die der klteren Flchen.
Hier erwarte ich von der Software die Mglichkeit, das Farbspektrum einem Temperaturbereich fest zuordnen zu knnen. Vielleicht wird dies ja in einem spteren Software-Update bercksichtigt.
Alles in Allem von mir aber volle Kaufempfehlung fr diese unkomplizierte und leicht zu bedienende kleine Kamera.
La camra se branche sous le smartphone via sa prise USB-C. Avec l’application associe elle est automatiquement dtecte et permet l’acquisition IR. Sur une porte-fentre on voit bien en t la diffrence de temprature entre la vitre le cadre et le mur. Achete pour dtecter les ponts thermiques, les problmes d’isolation et vrifier l’efficacit thermique des boiseries. Trs satisfaisant.
Product works well. Shows temperature differences down to a couple degrees. Only downside is that the photo’s are hidden on your phone. You can only email/whatsapp them off the phone.
This camera is fantastic, I just keep finding more uses for it!
I am really impressed with how sensitive it is – it can even pick out the screws from my plasterboarded walls! Which will be another unexpected use for it – to find the studs.
It’s great for showing any electrical items that use a lot of electricity on standby as they glow up!
It will help diagnose all sorts of electrical and mechanical problems.
And it is very accurate at telling you the temperature of liquid (tested against a thermometer and within half a degree) so apparently is even useful for making the perfect fudge?!
It is also incredibly easy to setup and use.
When you first plug it in to your phone it directs you to the app to download, and then every time you plug it in to your phone, it automatically opens the app for you!
Bien que c’est le seul modle dont j’ai fait l’acquisition, j’avais pass des heures chercher durant des semaines. Comme tant d’autres l’ont indiqu, les images sont trs bonnes mais il reste presque toujours un problme de calibration. Regardez l’chelle des tempratures sur mes images. Elles ont t prises par une journe de printemps quand la temprature de l’air devait tre entre 10 et 15 C. Le record est de -28.8C 222,7 C. Alors attention, il ne fallait pas faire cette photo car le capteur en a gard la trace et c’est visible sur les images suivantes. Ce marquage s’est estomp dans les heures suivantes mais il est rest un faible halo dans cette partie de l’image alors j’ai dcid den retourner cette camra. C’est dommage qu’ils ne le signalent pas dans la documentation : WARNING DO NOT SHOOT THE SUN.
L’image qui m’a le plus impressionn et celle du mur de la maison qui est recouvert d’un crpi beige uniforme. L’image thermique rvle les parpaings et mme la dalle de l’tage.
Compte tenu du systme de montage, de nombreuses coques de spyphones sont trop paisses pour permettre une connexion correcte. Je n’en ai qu’une sur trois qui le permet sur mon spyphone principal (realme 9 4G avec sa coque d’origine). Mais ce n’est pas un problme spcifique cette camra.
Concernant le logiciel, il me parait assez complet mme si j’aurai aim quelques fonctions supplmentaires comme celles qui existent dans les applications photo habituelles. Par exemple un retardateur et une meilleure gestion de l’orientation du capteur (portrait ou panorama). Je les remercie pour ne pas avoir ajout un logo impossible supprimer dans les images comme le fait un de leurs (mauvais) concurrent.
I bought this to use on electronics and its great for my use case – most of the time I don’t need to know specific temperatures but more care about relative temperatures. If one part of the circuit is far hotter than similar parts then that’s all I need and its great for that.
However – my unit seems to be erratic when it comes to the actual temperature. For example a door with two plastic windows (ones a dog flap) as attached shows one window at 5degC and one at 0degC. I would expect these to be the same as they are the same material with the same emissions. Its frustrating to me that I cannot trust the numbers. (I’ve tried all the calibration parts of the software).
This is why I gave it three starts. Its a great (amazing) price, does most of what I need but is frustrating in the detail. Perhaps they all do this? Maybe if I paid three times as much for the lower resolution FLIR one it would be the same? I have no intention of spending any more – this does exactly what I need but might not be for everyone!

The support from Topdon have got in touch with and pointed out that its probably the emissivity of the items, especially the window, and the angle that’s affecting the readings. After doing a bit of googling they are right and I was wrong. I wasn’t using this camera right – you need to be very careful of emissivity of the surface you are measuring. Based on this I have increased up to 5 stars.
I still stand by my comments that its not a perfect measurement of surface temperature but I would also add that a thermal camera is not meant to be – this is more of a note for other people who perhaps think the same as me – its not a thermometer unless you spend ages getting the emissivity dialled right in.
Totally amazed at how good the TC001 is – been trying it out on all kinds of things, plumbing, electrical, electronics, heat leaks from house, even discovered it’s great for detecting tats on the dog ! It’s so good I will be changing from an iPhone to Samsung to run it day to day. Works on an Amazon fire 8 just fine and the PC with extension cable too (will 3d print a case for PC use)
Si pu collegare sia al PC/Notebook con Windows, sia al cellulare/tablet con Android.
Ho prima provato al PC con Windows 10, basta collegarla tramite il cavetto Usb in dotazione e si installa automaticamente come una webcam, gi cos potreste usarla direttamente con i vari software come “Fotocamera” standard in Windows, ma chiaramente cos mostrer solo l’immagine senza indicazioni di temperatura o funzioni varie; per sfruttare le sue funzioni va installato il suo software specifico per Windows ( presente sul sito, ma io non l’ho ancora provato).
L’ho poi provata sul cellulare (Samsung S21 con Android 13): per prima cosa ho installato la sua app “TC001” dal Google Store ed avviata, dando i permessi per accedere a fotocamera e multimedia, poi ho collegato la termocamera alla presa Usb del telefono, ed ho fatto varie prove all’interno di casa.
L’immagine molto dettagliata, la risoluzione buona e vi permette di distinguere oggetti e dettagli con facilit. La app abbastanza completa come funzionalit, mostra i valori di temperatura minimo e massimo, lo spot temperatura a centro schermo, e la barra laterale di colori/temperature. Volendo si possono attivare ulteriori punti di misura, e cambiare le scale di colorazione. Permette di fare foto e video, che potrete condividere subito dall’app, e comunque poi troverete in una cartella apposita della galleria del telefono, per usarle o condividerle come preferite.
Non ha una batteria sua, usa l’energia fornita dal telefono tramite il connettore Usb.
Ritengo che per un uso domestico o amatoriale sia adatta, e per quel poco che l’ho provata fino ad ora posso consigliarne l’acquisto. Un professionista sicuramente avr esigenze pi evolute e quindi andr su prodotti professionali, ma potrebbe considerarla come “muletto” di scorta da tenere nel caso si trovi a non poter usare la sua termocamera principale o per velocizzare certe analisi con un collega.
Don’t be tempted by the much cheaper thermal imaging cameras that are on offer, they have extremely low resolution. You will not be disappointed with this Topdon unit, it’s resolution more than adequate for general DIY use. It’s great for looking for hot spots printed circuit boards, it can resolve the smallest of surface mount components quite easily. Next job is to scan the house looking for cold spots. The software seems to be quite stable, I am still finding my way around it. As others say, its not easy to install it on phones that have a bulky case. It’s a great way to repurpose an old phone, I’m using and old Samsung phone as a dedicated unit.
I bought this to use whilst hunting with my air rifle.
As of writing this review , I’ve not actually used it for hunting , yet. But I have been and tested it on a farm I work at and its fair to say it’ll be brilliant for what I intend on using it for.
Got it working on a pc easily but does not yet work on my phone although my phone is listed in the ok devices.
The ease of use and used it for checking for heat loss on my old double glazing
Bought this to help diagnose thermal problems in electronic & electrical systems. Amazed at how well it performs and has already paid for itself. It’s small enough to carry in my pocket clips on to my phone (Microsoft Surface Duo2) software starts as soon as camera plugged in and can take pictures and video as I scan cable runs, electrical panels or Electronic boards
So far I’ve I tested it with an Android phone; the software is on the Play store and it detects the device with no trouble. It lets you capture still images and videos, tweak the colour gradient and sharpness, overlay an image from the phone’s camera, and has a feature for recording the max/min temperature over a period of time. I haven’t run into any issues so far; will update this if I do.
Out of curiosity I plugged it into a laptop without the software installed – it seems to present as a USB camera showing the thermal image with a black-and-white gradient. Obviously this lacks the calibration and extra functionality of the app but was interesting nonetheless!
Have used it inside and outside. Reveals where the heat comes and goes, pinpointing hot and cold spots. Best at night but can use in the daylight as well.
The sensitivity of this is incredible. You can see the mortar lines between blocks in the wall, the joists behind plasterboard, where pipes run under the floor (or above the ceiling) and so on. Gives a high resolution picture with the coolest and warmest spots highlighted; you can add more “spots” to be monitored too. Will be very useful around the home for checking “heat leaks”, for electronics trouble diagnostics or checking the terminals of high current loads are properly tightened (i.e. not hot). Or you could just use it for walking in the dark 🙂 or perhaps developing a heat-seeking robot project…
I did have an issue TOPDON TC001 Thermal Imaging Camera and have to say the after care was spot on and my queries were dealt with in a very professional way. Well done and keep up the after care service.
Decent res picture for price. Works on my android Samsung a52. Spotted path of radiator pipes in floor immediately. Very little picture lag. Shows temps on pic. Impressive. Decent resolution .
he quality is fantastic of the picture, i’m glad i spent a little more for the extra pixels.
Quality seems really good, impressed with it, app is easy to use. Impressive to see where the heat is going and where the cold is coming in the house. Hopefully will make the job easier for work.
The latest software update corrects all my gripes below! It’s great when a developer listens. I wish more companies were like this!
The IR image will now auto rotate so you can either have the camera at the top or bottom of your phone.
Shame there is no landscape option, but I can live with that.

Pleasantly Surprised by this device. I was going to spend more money on a Flir device, but was concerned by the low resolution compared to this device.
I took the risk, and the image quality is excellent and it responded very fast.
My only gripes (which are minor) are:
The image save folder is an Android protected folder which my gallery apps or file explorer cannot access. So its very difficult to copy the image into another app or email program. It would be nice if their app let me choose the save folder.
The IR camera at the bottom of the phone makes it difficult to hold the phone without fingers getting in the way. There is an option to rotate the phone so the IR camera is at the top, Great! but it doesn’t rotate the temperature reading text, so the saved image looks half upside down.
I’ve not heard much about this brand, I was going to go for the flir, however the resolution of this one was much higher than the flir one around the same price, I’m glad I did, the image quality is great and it’s very easy to use. It has helped me identify various cold spots around the house. Would recommend
Really good camera,easy to use as plug into phone nothing else needed,download the app off playstore and your good to go,only thing if you have a thick phone case will have to remove to get camera to sit in stable
Used so far to check draught proofing / boiler lagging, fridge compressor, wheel bearing and dpf and electric blanket elements. The resolution is perfect for my uses (around the house, car and electronics repair). App works well with my android phone – highly recommended.
Cracking, does exactly what it says it will do.
Good tool to find any kind of leaks where hot water may be leaking or hot air escaping, tracing hot water pipes behind stud walls / runs, checking insulation, loose terminal connections, the list goes on and on.
Your camera quality is an important aspect here, the higher the camera quality the better the image.
It uses a USB-C connection so plugs straight into your phone. Whether this works with adaptors for other phones i.e iPhone, I’m unsure.
Once the app is downloaded and the initial start up prompts done, you can use the camera instantly. Each time you plug it in, the app automatically opens for fast use and diagnostic of the vehicle.
The built in camera function is very useful including video,the app stores all media.
You can also data log across several days, unfortunately I’ve not used this yet.

Perfect for finding areas around the house that can be better insulated, seals around doors and loft insulation.
Can see areas in the loft where insulation was not put between the rafters before plasterboard put up.
App is easy to use great image quality.
Only thing I can think of that could be improved is the way the device mounts to the phone, currently the device just relies on the USB c to hold it which in my opinion could easily be snapped if the phone were to be dropped.
Overall happy with the device, a bit pricy but for this technology I can understand.
Absolutely marvelous for spotting heat leakage from my house or cold entering, and also great for balancing loops on my underfloor heating. It is so sensitive that I can accurately locate where the underfloor pipework lies and can also locate studding in internal walls when there is a temperature difference between the rooms.
Of no practical purpose but to illustrate how sensitive it is if you place your hand on a wall for a couple of seconds then remove it, then you get a print of your hand where the wall temperature has been raised. Same goes for footprints on the floor.
It will be useful for early detection of poor electrical connections heating up on car and house as in poor 13 amp sockets etc. It is also capable of more detailed examination of components on a circuit board.
As with visible light you will soon find out that any polished or smooth surface reflects the infra red part of the spectrum but even more so! I have never seen a visual image of me reflected in my kitchen cupboard doors but the reflection of my thermal image is quite clear. Not usually a problem but you have to be a bit wary when checking a chromed towel radiator .
Set up was relatively simple even though the OTG facility on my 3 year old Sony XZ3 smartphone was not available as I had expected. The set up procedure after I had plugged in, switched on and loaded the app directed me to a download which sorted things out. You do not need more instructions than the quick start guide to set up or use this device as the on-screen instructions and prompts are pretty straightforward. It would be a good idea though to read up on what this little device is capable of doing.
Using the supplied cable I was also able to quickly set this thermal camera up on my Windows 11 laptop but I don’t think that I will be using it much this way as I prefer the much better mobility of using it on my smartphone. The laptop would be better for longer term monitoring of temp change over time.
This is a fantastic little tool with many serious and playful or artistic uses. It has fantastic sensitivity and resolution for the price and seems to beat the opposition hands down. The connector is long enough for it to work when my phone is in its thick protective case. I “ummed and ahhed” for a couple of months before buying it. Don’t, if you are interested buy it you will not regret it.
Been using it to scan the house and finding areas that are clearly lacking in insulation. Areas I’ve had my suspicion of previously but could never be sure about – stands out a mile when viewing the infrared feed this camera provides.
Being able to tap on the screen to get a spot temperature reading from a specific areas (and multiple areas at the same time for comparison) is really useful.
I’m planning to take it up the loft and find areas where the insulation has gaps; should see the heat escaping from the house lighting up in these areas. Not sure how to fix some of the other problems I can clearly see now, but it’s pretty exciting to be able to view the heat signature around the house.

I have spent the last 4 year renovating my house almost to Passive House standards, I was considering hiring a pro to come and IR image the whole house to see what parts I’d failed on as the Flir’s are so damn expensive, all their reviews are really really average and I just couldn’t justify 500+ for a reasonable IR camera, then I came across the TC001.
With the current cold weather in the UK and us now having no central heating to speak of, we just have an 8kw wood burning stove, some IR ceiling panels, and an HRV system, I really needed to see what I had missed.
I’m an Apple guy, but I did have an Android Huawei P20 Lite for testing various stuff, that had Android 8 installed and supported OTG. So I took the risk…
Although in theory the phone was supported, the app crashed as soon as it opened, so I decided to force an update to EMUI 9.1 on it. Super glad I did as then the app worked “out-of-the-box”
This is just so impressive, it is absolutely worth the money. The resolution leaves competitors like the Flir in the dust.
The photos I have attached:
1) Show ceiling joists cold bridging into my cavity walls, despite being airtight and packed with over 240mm of insulation!!!
2) A huge cold bridge at a wall ceiling junction I need to investigate
3) Our temporary front door, with awful cold bridging around the frame.
4/5 Our house and our neighbours… it show the value of a full filled cavity wall with platinum beads then another 80mm of IWI, our external walls are almost black compared to theirs.
This has helpfully shown some issues, but as I write this it is -5.c outside and the whole house is 19-21.c inside with just the stove on really validates what we tried to do. The TC001 now allows me to optimise that process.
I absolutely would suggest the cost of this will repay itself in energy savings by understanding what your house is doing with it’s heat.
I have a few criticisms, but really I’m nitpicking in the grand scheme:
1) The phone can’t be rotated 180. so it’s always slightly annoying to hold
2) The camera constantly evaluates the temperature range in view and updates the colours scheme, I set the DIY mode to -5c to 100c and the resolution seems to drop significantly and become much less responsive.
3) There is a big gap between the phone and the TC001 I assume for an Android case, but as this is my backup phone, it doesn’t have one. I am now 3D printing a case that will hold both the phone and imager in one piece.
I can already see a load of other uses for this and is absolutely worth the money. Well done Topdon – you totally delivered on the marketing promise – a rarity these days it seems!

Picture quality very good. It works well on my Samsung tablet using the
Google app however to use it on my Huawei phone I have to use the app supplied on the Topdon website as the Android app will not work. I have been using it for hot spots on electronic components and to discover cold spots in the house. I have found it difficult to obtain a good adaptor to go from USB C to USB macro. I need this for my phone. It has worked well so far.

The TOPDON TC001 is an impressive device for thermal imaging. The camera is very simple and easy to use, simply insert into your phone and download the TC001 app.

The camera has many practical applications but the primary purpose for my purchase was to identify the cause of drafts around the home. We have a 10 year old property but for some reason we keep getting a cold draft blowing through the middle of the house and so far have been unable to identify it.
The TC001 is the perfect tool for the job, simply point it around the room and you will visually see the cold air and be able to trace it back to it’s point of origin. In our case it was a section of plasterboard cut out to make way for the bath waste, behind a panel under the bath.
Using the camera made it really simple and easy to trace it back to the origin and now that we’ve insulated the gap it’ll probably pay for itself over the winter.

Easy to use, good picture and detection options are very useful. I am only an amateur user but this has helped find heat leaks and hot power supplies around the u=house.
Purchased so I could use when required in a workshop environment, didn’t think I would use it very often but within a day or receiving it I decided to use it to check a suspected blocked egr cooler and see what the results where in comparison to my suspicions. Once hooked up to my Samsung phone and afew minutes of playing around with the settings it was possible to confirm that there was a blockage in the cooler on the exhaust gas side causing poor heat exchange to the coolant circuit . I would only of been able to confirm my initial suspicions before by dismantling the system and checking it physically so this thermal camera allowed me to see in real time the heat exchange and heat saturation of the component and backup my diagnosis without investing additional time and labour to do so .
Easy to use and excellent picture quality with several settings to enhance or refine the image your viewing , high recommended
Not used it much yet, but from what I’ve seen to present the resolution is fantastic. The app was easy to install and really simple to navigate. Build quality is really good, only issue I have is that my phone has to be removed from case to plug it into phone, but I’m gonna buy a USB C male to female cable to bypass this issue. Other than that, great product and good quality, still 5 stars from me
Compar aux modles concurrents, c’est la dfinition du capteur qui est vraiment plus leve. Mme si 256×192 pixel peut sembler petit, c’est vraiment dans le haut de gamme de ce que vous pouvez trouver sur le march.
C’est d’ailleurs ce qui m’a fait choisir ce modle. J’ai en effet dj une camra thermique qui ressemble un pistolet main avec un cran.
En plus de la limitation sur la dfinition, je ne peux pas faire de vidos, et uniquement des photos.
Ici, fini les limitations. Vous pouvez prendre photo ou vido directement via l’application ddie.
Il n’y a pas besoin de s’enregistrer. Vous tlchargez et cela fonctionne sans mme de publicit qui s’affiche. Il n’y a pas de demande d’autorisation bizarre comme c’est parfois le cas avec des produits de ce ct de la plante.
Il faut bien aller dans le systme du tlphone pour activer le mode OTG (On The Go) qui ouvre le port USB en entre pour votre tablette ou smartphone car il est par dfaut ferm.
Cette option se trouve dans “settings” puis “Bluetooth & Devices” et se dsactive toute seule aprs 5mn d’inactivit.
Le menu de la camera est trs complet pour le choix parfait de couleur, unit, voir retourner l’image histoire d’avoir le capteur en haut du tlphone.
Le seul regret, c’est que les photos et vidos se rangent dans un rpertoire spcifique l’application, j’ai eu du mal les retrouver pour les tlcharger et les inclure dans ma petite vido pour la premire fois. Bon maintenant que je le sais, c’est facile.
L’image en vido se bloque de temps en temps, cela est classique sur une camra thermique car il y a un talonnage permanent ncessaire.
Pour le reste, c’est un vrai plaisir utiliser et la dfinition supplmentaire aide vraiment voir les dtails d’un objet complexe pour y trouver les diffrences de chaleur. Comme vous pouvez le voir dans la vido, cela se mlange facilement avec une dfinition FullHD.
Alors que je prenais une camra thermique comme un gadget, il n’y a pas une seule semaine ou je ne l’utilise pas. En ces temps o l’isolation est importante, c’est l’outil idal pour la recherche de pertes d’nergie, mais aussi utile pour trouver les possibles pannes sur une carte lectronique.
En quelque seconde, vous vrifiez que votre tableau lectrique n’a pas de point chaud.
Il y a aussi de mode avec des fentres de contrle que vous pouvez prparer afin de suivre un processus.
Une autre fonction sympa, c’est d’avoir un mode image dans l’image o le capteur du smartphone s’ajoute au capteur thermique pour bien vous montrez ce que vous mesurez. C’est juste dommage que cette double vue ne peut pas tre enregistre et seule la vue thermique est active dans l’enregistrement.
Bon, on va dire que a sera sur la version logicielle suivante.
Pour tre super critique, je dirais qu’il manque un point de montage pour la poser sur un pied lors de l’utilisation d’un PC avec le cble usb. L, je chipote
En conclusion, j’avais une camra thermique loin d’tre le premier modle et ce module TopDon TC001 la renvoie aux oubliettes en 2 secondes.
Arrtez de bricoler et foncez vous quiper comme un pro avec ce module, il est franchement impressionnant.
The camera works really well. Basically no lag so you don’t need to move super slow. Found it connected instantly and worked straight away after downloading the app on Samsung galaxy. Was a bit more tricky to get sorted on Huawei p20.
Came in really decent packaging like I’ve found with other topdon products I’ve previously purchased.

Great bit of kit! Super simple to set up, simply download the app from the QR code and plug into phone and use! Very premium feeling, comes with a padded carry case. Image quality is clear and easy to read temperatures. Overall would recommend.
I was amazed by the sharp image and how quickly it refreshes and updates, even when making big movements, it definitely has a professional/premium feel to it. Have a look at the video for how it looks like in action. Will be using this to find spots to insulate house.
I purchased this for My air rifle when doing pest control, as it’s a tidy set up with out spending big money on a sole purpose sight.
HOWEVER !
After having a problem with my car that just wasn’t visible to the naked eye. This showed the issue after minutes of driving. The brake disc was warped .
Such a multi use tool ! Would make hide and seek in the dark impossible!
