Easy enough to work out how to use after reading instructions and googling it. Cooks food well and quicker. Good price as seen more expensive else where.Easy to clean usually can just wipe out with kitchen towel.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this air fryer around one month ago and have not used my oven since. Ive made lasagne, chips, veg skewers, wings, fish and much more. The two ovens are great when cooking diferrent foods of varying temperature. Also, good when cooking for one or smaller dishes but can equally accommodate a meal for more people. Its so easy to clean. One the best kitchen appliance purchases ive made.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought this to replace a single drawer Tower airfryer. I love it and never use my normal oven any more. Heat is even in each basket so no areas of food cooked more than others. The instruction booklet is useless. I went on to YouTube to watch a video on this make and model which answered all my questions on how to use the airfryer.
The crisp trays in the bottom are easy to clean as are the drawers. Need to wipe around the elements very regularly to avoid fat/oil plashes getting burnt on. You can’t use normal oven cleaners on airfryers but foam sprays are available especially for airfryers.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersOK so this isn’t the first tower air fryer I’ve owned although nothing more adventurous than frozen chips. So on first switching it on everything lit up nicely once familiar with the buttons away I went gave it test run with something simple just make sure everything was working properly. On my second use went for simple baked potatoes and hey presto set the timer and temperature and 30 minutes later had a nice crispy outside and a squishy inside. More importantly the one thing that impressed most was how quiet it was. Add into a purchase of an accessory set for more flexibility and as this was actually cheaper than a well known high street retailer well worth the spend

5.0 out of 5 stars Super quiet and user friendly

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOne of the few electric accessories I use. (Breadbaker, slow cooker, hologen cooker all relegated to the cellar. My sons love it and use it all the time. They think it is self cleaning! but it is easy to clean. I have bought one for my son for university life.
It is ideal for small batches of food such as sausages, chips, fish fingers. I use it to crisp up jacket potatoes that have been cooked in the microwave. Never tried anything more advanced than these examples.
I think it must be economical because you are heating only a small space. You still need a conventional oven if cooking family sized meals.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCame across this tower double tray . Was looking to upgrade my old single one. And I’m glad I did and choose the tower one. It’s fantastic. And it’s got so many options and can do so much with almonds of different foods first class product and great results would definitely recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTook a while to get used to this air fryer. The symbols on the front are very hard to make out. Not very bright during the day. You can adjust the time and temperature manually, which I found easier to do. I like being able to cook two things at once.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersOMG…! This wee machine is truly amazing. My neighbour convinced me to invest in a dual air fryer so I chose the 11L VIZION. Cooked my first roast chicken with perfect roast tatties & stuffing. Came out so much better than using my conventional oven. Cooks the bird so quick & efficiently that the chicken stays moist & succulent. Never seen a chicken breast so juicy than when done in this Tower air fryer. It’s almost witchcraft & transforms the way you’ll cook forever. Just get one, you won’t be disappointed…trust me.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersExcellent air fryer and does exactly as it says. Food comes out cooked perfectly and you can adjust timings to your preference.
Would be a bonus if there was a manual button to set temp and time, as you need to press any pre-set and then alter to the settings that you need.
Easy to clean with a hot soapy sponge/cloth.
It would have been nice if Tower also included a basic recipe book.
    We definitely would recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersLove this air fryer – I’ve seen reviews that mention it being difficult to see the display but on this vortex duo with one large and one small drawer it’s really clear – an advantage too is that it will fit in a kitchen cupboard for storage if needed – great value compared to the ninja!!

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI’ve had this 11ltr, 2 basket fryer for 4 months now. I thought it would be useful occasionally but I have found I cook most meals with it (alongside the microwave) and haven’t used the gas oven since I got this fryer.
Very impressed with how this cooks steaks and pies. I can cook a full Sunday roast dinner for the two of us.
Yes, it takes some juggling and tweaking to start with, but everything is trial and error. I don’t use the presets and simply adjust the timings and temperature by about -20%.
The best feature is definitely the fact this has glass doors and a light, eliminating the need to open the doors to see how the food is doing. Hence no heat loss!
I’m so glad I chose this air fryer. Far better than my friend’s one that cost more than double.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersThis is the one I have Tower, T17102, Vortx Vizion Dual Compartment Air Fryer Oven with Digital Touch Panel, 11L. Sadly the questions and reviews are all mixed up for different models by Tower. Not helpful at all for customers.
I have only had this a couple of days and it’s clear that I need to adjust cooking time from the presets. Yesterday my chips were over done and burgers were under done (put them back in for 5 mins and they were then over done, lol. Not blaming the cooker, it’s a matter of getting used to the settings. Apart from that I really like this cooker. Easy to clean, quick to cook. Did I mention I love the separate compartments so can cook 2 different things at once? The reason I did not use my single drawer previous fryer much. I am not sure how could cook enough for a family, but it says it could.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love that can cook 2 different things at once

Iam so pleased with this air fryer . Exactly what I had been looking for. I can’t believe how quiet it is . My tefal air fryer was so noisy. The only down side is the panel on the front isn’t bright enough . Apart from that it’s fab.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt is a nice enough air fryer but the front panel showing items for cooking was really dark and hard to read. The machine itself worked well although we have not done a wide range of items. Good for what we wanted it to cook e.g. chicken, chips, burgers, sausage, nuggets. Bought some silicon inserts for each tray which made it easier to clean.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersA typical bachelor my oven has been left unused since I bought my house. What got me to buy this was my love of welsh rarebit, which this oven is perfect for – being a front-loader and cooking such things very evenly. It also is far better than my now redundant toaster to make toast, my air fryer for cooking chips, and for cooking chicken and meat cuts.
I have stored away three other appliances since getting this. My induction hob, microwave and this oven ae the perfect combination for my kitchen.
I am particularly pleased I didn’t get a tub, top loader air fryer as this front loader is far more flexible to use.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersVery pleased with my new air fryer. Food tastes really good, it is easy to clean and is much cheaper than my electric oven to run. Took me a few times to sort out the instructions as there are 2 baskets but got there in the end. It is trial and error for the first few times as everyone’s tastes are different but food is always cooked through, just keep looking and shaking until you are happy.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersEarly days but happy so far. I feel that unless you are an experienced cook, times and temperatures are educated guesses.
I would have appreciated an air fryer cook/recipe booklet included in the package.
I have ordered a Tower air fryer cookbook and am optimistic about future meal times (with fingers crossed).

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe air fryer is very spacious and a lot larger than my old air fryer which means I can fit a lot of things at once. Everything cooks fairly quickly the only things I dislike is the maximum temperature is only 200 and I would prefer a higher temperature, also I disliked the fact that the box actually did come damaged as there was no packing peanuts or bubble wrap inside however I don’t think this has affected the actual air fryer.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersGood looking item, great having 2 compartments. Quick buttons on the front display are great to have , but not clear what they are for – have to check the manual to find out what the picture is of is , also find it confusing how to put the temperature and times in manually if not using the pre set buttons , however, cooks really good once everything set .. I must add I am completely new to air fry cooking and could do with a more in depth instruction book , but definitely worth having in , I have given a 4* rating as feel it ought to have a better instruction booklet for novice users

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersWorks very well and is very versatile and by far an improvement on the draw style air fryers.

The places I found it to be lacking so far is as follows.
A clip on handle to remove the baskets when hot is a must and should be included.
Two more deep baskets would have been nice as the distance from the element to the flat basket in the top position is not enough to put much on and the additional baskets should be included.
It definitely needs another positioning point between the current two used for the baskets to allow more refinement when positioning food and baskets in the air fryer.
Finally the temp limit of 200C is a bit low and it would have been better if it was at least 220C

Otherwise I am pretty happy with my purchase, however not as much as I could be andif another brand offers these options perhaps worth looking at or for.

    Almost perfect, just not quite....

Golden Review Award: 187 From Our UsersOverall happy with my purchase, was trying to source the Ninja AF400UK, Dual 9.5 Litre without success

    Energy Consumption:
1700 Watts, therefore electricity consumption at the current Ofgem / Gov energy price guarantee rate average of 0.34 kWh (Dec 2022) = 0.58 per hour
Which is forecast to increase by 20% in April 2023, therefore 0.41 kWh = 0.70 per hour from April 2023
Tower T17088 9 Litres Dual, 2600 watts, therefore going by the same rates = 0.88 per hour and from April 2023 = 1.07 per hour
Tower T17100, 9 Litres Dual, 2600 watts, therefore going by the same rates = 0.88 per hour and from April 2023 = 1.07 per hour
Ninja AF400UK, 9.5 Litres Dual, 2470 Watts, therefore going by the same rates = 0.84 per hour and from April 2023 = 1.01 per hour

Monthly Comparison using the Tower T17099 as the base price:
If using the Tower T17088 / T17100 for an average of 1 hour per day, taking 30 days in the month = 9.00 per month premium, April 2023 = 11.10 per month premium
If using the Ninja AF400UK for an average of 1 hour per day, taking 30 days in the month = 7.80 per month premium, April 2023 = 9.30 per month premium

    Size:
    Large basket: 5.2 Litres: 22cm x 18.5cm
    Small basket: 3.3 Litres: 22cm x 11.5cm

    Positive Points:
Large basket, probably the largest basket size of the dual air fryers available, good size for cooking a whole chicken, the one in the photo was 2.072kg labelled as extra large, 280mm (11″) part baked whole baguette also fits in the large basket
Whole 2kg extra large roast chicken and roasties in the small basket suitable for 4 adults, 200 degrees for 1 hour
Able to Sync / Smart finish the timing of both baskets
It’s reasonably quite, I have tried to catch the sound on the video uploaded

    Warranty:
3 Year Warranty, when you register on the Tower website (Tower Housewares)
    Ninja AF400UK: 1 year warranty

    Negative Points:
Chips in the small basket take Approx 45 mins
Temperature maximum of 200 degrees, unlike the Ninja AF400UK 9.5 which has a maximum of 240 degrees
Cannot put the grill plates & baskets in a dishwasher (not sure if you can with other manufacturers)
Accessories such as silicone liners & racks suitable for the size of baskets are hard to find (well almost suitable fit going by the small basket silicone liner photo) – I would also advise my experience of using the silicone liner is, that it adds to the cooking time, therefore I only use for food products that produce a lot of juices / fat, so you can wash it out & put it in the dishwasher

    Capacity, Dimensions & Weight:
The weight and dimensions are incorrect under Product details:
    Capacity: 8.5 Litres (total)
Dimensions: Height: 310mm , Width: 420mm, Depth: 360mm (from the User Manual)
Dimensions: Height: 310mm, Width: 395mm, Depth: 340mm (when actually measured)
Weight: 7.75kg (from the User Manual)

I also considered the following 2 prior to purchasing the Tower T17099:
Lakeland Dual Air Fryer, Model 26920 and the QVC, Cook’s Essential Dual 7.7 Litre, which look near on identical to this one (but claims to be 9 Litre with Lakeland and 7.7 litre with the QVC Cook’s Essentials, strange that that calculate the volumes differently! ), likely to have them manufactured by the same provider somewhere in Asia and all 3 rebrand, however no Sync / Smart option going by the reviews on the Lakeland and QVC options

Tower T17099 8.5 Litre Eco Dual Baske
