Great sound quality, very loud with good bass and the battery life is good also. I have used in pools and on the beach and in my experience is completely weatherproof.

The sound from this tiny device is unbelievably good. It has great volume and detail too. Mono-sound unless you or a friend have another one, in which case you can easily pair them to give you stereo. Very simple to use. A really fantastic device.

A brilliant little speaker, seems to almost never need charging, looks smart and sounds great. It also gets very loud, so packs equal punch inside and outside.

This has become a real hit in our house due to portability. We use it outside and would recommend. Not sure the outdoor setting is necessary though.

Love this brand and their speakers are top notch for the most part their customer service is good minus one time i had an issue with one of the 3 megablast i own and they just gave up and said we cant help you and let it at that. These little babies are fantastic to strap on pretty much anything and go. The bass levels are excellent. Battery life superb. The design allows for a 360 sound and the body is strong and sturdy. The only thing that i wasnt aware due to me just super excited about the price of the item (hence buying two) is that they dont connect through a smart device like alexa like my other ones. Oh and also no app for them. Otherwise these were/are/will be my choice for speakers hands dow

So nice had to get it twice

This is by far the most durable speaker out there for the price. This speaker is Constantly being submerged in sea water and still performs amazingly. This speaker survives through some very harsh sea conditions and still goes without complaint.

Cons- does not display battery level in Bluetooth menu like other devices.

I saw this speaker at work, a colleague had brought it in. I was so impressed with the sound quality that I immediately purchased one from Amazon. It’s easy to connect to and lasts a good while. You can have it on room mode or open air mode. I would buy another, they’re worth it.

Great sound from a little speaker, not too loud as to be annoying to others. Small enough to stick in your pocket, and with a decent loop so it can be hung off a rucksack etc.

Great if you want a speaker you take out with you. Sound quality is good but I wouldn’t recommend using this as your main home speaker. Definitely worth the purchase for my needs.

Originally purchased this as a Xmas present for the lady I was seeing at the time. The week before the big day, she turned out to be an emotionally-unavailable nutcase that was using me for her own pleasure. So I kept this. Glad I did – it’s good… and I strongly doubt will decide that it no longer wants to be here after being played with in the bedroom a few times.

Decent speaker, but sound not a patch on the old Boom 2 etc. Quite a thin and tinny sound by comparison. My Bose Soundlink kicks it’s butt, but was twice the price. Alright for a waterproof, smallish speaker. Battery life immense so far.

I love this product! I bought a Sonos Roam last year and whilst it was great on WiFi, it was absolutely terrible on a Bluetooth source.
I am quite fussy what I listen too and whilst this isn’t the final word in High Fidelity, it is a very decent, pleasant sound with plenty of clarity and bass. It’s a doddle to connect and I’ve listened to hours and hours of music, podcasts and radio with it and I haven’t had charge it since I got it out of the box!
    Well worth 89

Not going to repeat my previous review about this speaker still impressed by it , but just to say now I’ve bought it’s twin the stereo sound makes the wonder-boom 2 an even tastier experience . Pressing the top big central button on both speakers at the same time Pairs them together and once you’ve heard the weird jingles coming from both then your good to go. Having two working together makes what is impressive even better and true value for money. Definitely recommend

Had this speaker for awhile now and I can say its worth the money sound quality is great, waterproof, lightweight for travelling only downside is the intrusive loud turnoff noise and skip button can easily not skip and just pause if not pressed properly

i brought this speaker around a year ago now and it’s been amazing. ive used it in the bath and shower many times with no problem.

i think the battery life is incredible. i would be able to charge the speaker once until it is fully charged and it would last me days, even if i’m using it for hours everyday, i find that i do not need to charge it much. i also love the compact design, very easy to pop into a bag or a suitcase when travelling, it is also very durable.

sound quality is really good for how small it is as well. ive used it outdoors many times, and although it has an outdoor mode available, i found that i didnt have to use it much as it was loud enough already. one thing to note, the louder you put the volume (usually volumes that are too loud for indoors so like towards 85% up roughly) ive noticed the sound from the speaker becomes more distorted. less bass but not a problem for me as i don’t need to put the volume that high.

This is a fantastic little speaker. While it can certainly fill a room, I actually wanted something that didn’t sound awful at low volumes because it sits on my desk while I’m working. My previous JBL wouldn’t go low enough. This fits the bill perfectly. Bluetooth has been faultless and battery life is great. Feels very well made too. High recommended.

Its small cute, not quite portable if say your riding a bike.. the sound was actually really good hut im also a jbl fan, and the flip 5 took to my liking more as it was more versatile and better build quality.. but its certainly not rubbish you can pair like more than 50 of these little things thats impressive.

Good sound quality but a lot of money for what it is.
Also note it does not have a microphone for calls or assistant use.
It also does not let you go back a track, only next and play/pause.

Really sturdy and battery lasts a long time, my phone also connects to it automatically when it’s turned on which is a great plus. Sound quality is good (I am no expert but I am happy with it listening to my music whilst cooking) Managed to leave it out in the garden for a few days in bad weather and it didn’t seem to effect the sound or quality in anyway. will be getting another one to keep in the garage.

I purchased this speaker after my Anker Soundcore Mini 3 died, so I decided to try and find a replacement and tried a couple of speakers from Amazon both which looked great on paper but did not have enough Bass for me when I tried them. I like my Rock music and I like plenty of Bass with it, and with this Wonderboom 2 you get exactly that. I use portable speakers on average 3 hours a day and need them to be pocket sized and with good sound. The Wonderboom 2 just about ticks the box of being portable in a pocket, just, but I find it ok.

The sound is great even at higher volumes it does not distort and the Bass packs plenty of punch without compromising clarity in the mid and high range. So from a sound quality perspective it really ticks all the boxes and at the price it really should as this was 3 times the price I paid for an Anker Soundcore Mini 3, it is not cheap by any imagination so I would expect premium sound from a premium price, and because of that price you do get the best water and dust proofing available and a robust build quality so I wouldn’t be fretting too much if I dropped it. But at the price there are a few things that I would have expected, Type C USB for charging would be the first and a built in microphone would have been really handy for me as I have disabilities and use 2 gutter crutches for walking so the use of a microphone for phone calls has been something I really find useful on the previous speakers I have had and would have expected on the Wonderboom 2 but sadly you don’t get one. A dedicated app with EQ is something I have found really useful too from previous speakers rather than relying on my Android Phone EQ settings, its just my preference.

This by no means makes the Wonderboom 2 a poor speaker far from it great battery life, great sound, portable in a pocket, waterproof. dustproof and really well made so its a really good speaker, add a microphone and Type C USB and an app and it would be a really great speaker.

I took advantage of a great deal to buy this speaker and I am very pleased with it. The set up and blue-tooth connectivity is great, straight out of the box. I have owned a UE Boom2 speaker for 5 years and love it, but it has always been a bit tricky connecting to different devices via blue-tooth. But the Wonderboom2 works like a dream. This new speaker is more squat in shape, compared with its predecessor, and much lighter. However, the battery life is far better. I don’t tend to have the volume very high and I have found that, even from first charge, the battery has lasted significantly longer than the advertised 13 hours between charges. The sound quality is very good when I compare this speaker to others of a similar size, that I have heard, and it is noticeable that the bass response is better than my older Boom2. It also works very well for audiobook narration, but you will hear any background noise that was recorded – noticeable on older audiobooks. I haven’t had a go at linking 2 speakers for a stereo effect when listening to music. The controls on the speaker are easy to use, particularly pause and skip and, this may seem trivial but the noise it makes when you switch the speaker on and off is much more acceptable than the tom-tom sound that my Boom 2 makes. So, overall I’m well-pleased.

Bought as a gift for my husband a couple of months ago.

This is a fantastic portable Bluetooth speaker, particularly at this price point. The sound quality is good, delivering 360 degree sound. It’s splash proof, which means you can use it in the bath/shower. The sound is good inside or outside.

There’s a really cool feature that means that the speaker can be linked to other Wonderboom speakers in a kind of daisy chain linked to the same device, playing the same music.

    Good battery life.

    Would 10/10 recommend.

This is the first time ever I have bought a “used” item from Amazon – it was in perfect condition, fully boxed and I saved myself almost 30!! Will definitely considering buying “used” items again – it clearly has not been used!
Easy set up, great sound and looks cool! It’s waterproof and drop proof which is great being near our jacuzzi and has an enhancement for outdoor play. Am very pleased with this purchase!

I did quite a bit of research in to the best buy in terms of quality and value for money given there are some silly priced options for similar items. Fortunately I was able to buy one Wonderboom 2 as a half price option from Amazon Warehouse whilst the other was a present. They are simple to use, functional and easily linked to one another by following simple instructions and are as good outdoors as indoors. Not tested the waterproof claims but they are solidly built and battery life is good. They easily linked to my smartphone and Amazon Music library, all in all very happy with them. Battery life does seem a tad shorter (perhaps around 10%) than advertised but hardly a deal breaker, it could even be down to the fact I use two linked together?

I see myself as a bit of an “Audiophile”; so sound matters to me. I bought this to listen to my favourite radio stations or Apple Music from my phone in the shower room. Firstly, it connected to my phone very quickly. It is very easy to use and the sound is amazing for such a compact speaker. It fills the small room with sound but I wouldn’t say it has lots of bass but a very nice bass. Again, for such a compacted speaker at this price level, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommended.

Having a few Alexa dotted around the house, I wonder if owning this kit is really necessary…..I don’t suppose it is, but it’s great for traveling, long battery life and so portable.
We pop it on the table and listen in the garden, or garage when working – or anywhere we can get internet connectivity.
It is blue tooth but as all my music and radio comes through the net, I still need this connection to use the device. I guess that if I had a big music library to blue tooth from a phone etc, it would be independent of a connection to the net.
Overall, very pleased, it’s a great bit of kit.

I bought this just for a bit of fun but it has blown me away. Such a rich sound and very well made. Lasted two days at work on good volume with no problems. Don’t go down the Bose road. This is a bargain. Battery life is unreal. Using it on holiday and it’s been going three days so far on normal volume. Playing tidal through it really raises the sound quality compared to Spotify etc. Been in the pool and just keeps playing in the water. Great product.

I have Apple speakers in and around the house and this is not as good as the Apple Home Pod mini but at half the price does a pretty good job. Charges quickly and has a button to adjust around when used outside. Great value.

Although connection through Bluetooth was initially simple, I have found pairing to additional devices can be difficult. The sound quality is very good for such a small device not quite as full as I would like but given the dimensions is still impressive. The feature I am most impressed with is the 360 sound which is amazing for groups of people outdoors. Feels and looks very high quality and battery life is superb.

I like to call this thing the holy hand grenade because the front looks like a crucifix and holy hell does it pack a punch. Straight out of the box I was surprised just how small this is (I can just about fit it neatly into the pockets of my jogging bottoms), yet it packs a meaty and clear sound and feels built like a brick. My parents have the Sony competitors (the XB22 and its discontinued predecessor) and we all agreed this one has the superior sound quality.

The shape makes it easy to pop onto most surfaces and the tag makes it easy to carry around. The sound isn’t equal in volume from all sides but this is only apparent if you hold it right up to your ear. I also noticed some reviewers mentioning an issue with latency (annoying for watching videos) which I haven’t experienced. Out in the open it has a pretty strong range. Inside the house, it can be put off by walls and doors even from next door, which leads to stuttering. Sometimes this occurs also when it’s connected to two devices at the same time but it’s easy to disconnect one to resolve the issue. Battery life is good too. So far it will last me a few days with moderate to high daily usage. I will not test its water-breathing or shock-absorbing capabilities but it definitely has the feel of something that could survive a chunky drop (I think 1.5m is advertised) or splashes of water no issue. Also it looks really cool and elegant.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing little speaker! I did a bit of research into the best bluetooth speakers and this definitely cropped up multiple times near the top spot. I managed to get a good deal on a used like new Wonderboom 2 and I have to say it was a great purchase.

I really don’t think you can be disappointed with it. Sound quality is really good and is definitely loud enough for a small or medium room. It’s never been too quiet for me anyway. Bass is also not lacking, and seems pretty punchy for its size.

Battery life seems to be great too although I’ve not owned it long enough to comment further. Charging is as simple as it gets.

Never dropped a connection but I would say it can be a pain when you have two devices connected at the same time as the connection can get confused as to which device you are playing sound from. Just remember to disconnect seems to fix but that doesn’t really bother me.

Overall though build quality is excellent and I love the size and design. Haven’t tested the water resistance. But I say if you can find it in a sale or used like new for a reasonable price and you want a good solid speaker I really don’t think you can go wrong with this one!

Hope the review helped you! Stay safe! Thanks for reading!

I really like the sound of this speaker, it is full and rich, however sometimes can be a bit heavy on the bass.
I use it mainly in the shower and the volume is loud as well as clear.
My only complain is that i don’t like that it can connect to multiple devices as it is annoying when I connect it to my laptop and my phone connects to it and blocks the volume on my laptop.
Otherwise I would have gave it 5 star as it is sturdy and strong.

This is my diy, beach, day out speaker. It’s taken a beating in the short time I’ve had it and the battery has exceeded expectations. Sound is always down to what an individual is happy to accept. I have a Bose sound link mini that I consider to be pretty good for it’s size. I initially bought a soundcore mini to fulfil this roll but sent it straight back as it was unbearable. This sits just below the Bose. The sound is good enough if you remember that UE do the slightly bigger versions which probably have more bass. If you want good quality but don’t want to pay the top whack then you’ll be more than pleased with this.

It’s nice and compact and feels solid. It works great for listening to audio books and acoustic music. I personally was not overwhelmed by the sound when listening to music in general, clear and quite crisp but lacking in oomph. To be fair though I am used to a proper amp / speakers and / or good headphones hence I may be expecting too much for something in this price range. I can’t compare it to other similarly priced bluetooth speakers. I wanted it for audio books and it’s great for listening to them.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThis is an absolutely fantastic little speaker, it’s unbelievably loud on full volume, the bass is punchy and it’s fully IP67 waterproof which makes this the perfect shower speaker. See the video I uploaded for reassurance.
When on full volume, you only notice a very tiny amount of distortion but it’s not enough to be an issue, and that’s coming from me, I’ve sent countless amounts of speakers back from other more popular brands because of bad distortion on loud volumes. The outdoor mode is an added bonus. When it’s enabled, it reduces the bass to give the main speakers a bit more loudness on the mids and highs. The battery life is brilliant as well and doesn’t need charging all that often.
In my opinion, this is the perfect speaker to get if you want something small and compact to carry around easily.

Sound quality is really good for such a compact little speaker. Bluetooth set up was very straight forward and connects instantly The only reason That I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it has a quite a loud start up tone and closing down tone which if you’re listening to relaxing music in bed will wake you up as it closes down and disconnects. But all in all a very impressive little speaker and would highly recommend it.

Robust little speaker. Great to travel with, very portable and doesn’t take up a lot of space.

I bought it to take to the gym as I like to use it to follow online classes. It’s great!

The battery life is AWESOME. Rarely have to charge. Sound quality is decent. Nothing like my JBL speakers though. Not much base, but if Wonderboom released a comparable model to the JBL I would buy it! JBL has terrible battery life.

I love how tough this thing is, I recently put this thing inside a snowman and it was unscathed. The dual speaker mode is very easy to apply (hold the top of the speakers down).
One thing that was a little disappointing is the noticeable lack of bass, especially If you’re looking to buy only one. In fact I’d advise you to buy the wonderboom 2 if you only want one. This is shower proof and probably bath proof too if you’re into that sorta thing.

The quality of Ultimate Ears product is excellent, and I always intended to get one after being at a house party and being amazed that all the music was being run from an iPhone and an Ultimate Ears speaker. Admittedly it was the next model up but this was on offer on Black Friday so it was worth the risk. I wasn’t disappointed volume is excellent before distortion at very high levels. Battery life is very good and it connects in a second via bluetooth.

Bought one of these for myself at a great price from Amazon. Returned to buy a second from Amazon when the price was right again.
They are simple to use, connect easily to devices and have a good sound, if a little bass heavy in my opinion. As far as bluetooth speakers go they are good, though to be honest I wouldn’t pay the full quoted retail price. Which leads me to other gripe. It would be useful to have an indicator beyond a noise telling you it has reached full volume to let you know what level the volume on the unit is at. That’s a minor thing but more annoying was that the reduce volume on the second unit doesn’t have the satisfying clicky feeling of a button that the first unit does. This isn’t a design thing as the first unit clearly feels better – its a quality control issue. The volume decrease button on unit 2 does however work so it’s not really a fault per se and as such I can’t be bothered to return it. Shame that the quality control wasn’t consistent and this 2nd unit was passed out of the factory.

We were amazed by the sound that came out of this tiny speaker. The bass is great considering it’s a little speaker and you can hear it quite a distance in the park. Bought it for my teenager and to use at picnics and have no doubt it is more than enough for that especially if you have two and link them. Saw a couple of reviews that nearly put me off buying it as it seemed they were comparing it to a full sound system, but it really is a great sound and loud.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI have a little hobby of collecting bluetooth speakers such as JBL, Marshall, Anker, UE, Sony, House of Marley, Tribit etc – also research a lot on them. So my knowledge I’d say is not too bad.

I use to have the first GEN Wonderboom and upgraded to the Wonderboom 2 – a big improvement, bass is a lot fuller (not muddy) with clear mids and highs. I dont use the Outdoor Mode as it increases the highs and loses a little bass.
The combination of being super portable, dust and waterproof, with excellent sound (and Loud!!) makes this my most used speaker.
If I was to pick between UE Wonderboom 2 and the JBL Flip 5 – the all rounder for me would be Wonderboom 2. If size is not too much of an issue (but still small and portable) and you want your bass a little boomy then go for the Flip 5.

Golden Review Award: 88 From Our UsersI was shopping for a compact travel speaker and as a bit of a sound snob it is no easy feat. After doing quite a reasonable amount of research I settled for the Wonderboom 2 due to the glowing reviews and the fact that it seemed to win in most comparison video’s on YouTube. Having listened to it on and off for around 2 weeks now I cannot say that it lives up to the sound quality expectations. Although the speaker is built really well and does get really REALLY loud for its form factor without getting too distorted, the sound quality itself is very tinny and the bass is almost non existed once you go past 40% volume. Putting it in outdoor mode or messing around with the EQ to give it more bass just makes it worse and flattens it entirely. I can only compare it to putting your iPhone into a jar on max volume. I have since purchased the SONY XB22 which although is of a bigger form factor and weight, the balance of the sound and bass is just SOOO much better! As another comparison, the Wonderboom 2 sounds worse than the Alexa 2nd Gen whereas the XB22 sounds better than the Alexa 3rd gen. Hope this is helpful to some people in the same boat.

Genuinely the best speaker I have owned! The sound quality is fantastic, the bass is excellent and the treble is real crisp.
It’s a good size for carrying in your bag and the little loop on top is handy for carrying, I added a karabiner to make it easier to attach to bags/hooks etc.
The battery life is around 10hours of play, possibly more – I charge every 3-4 days and use it everyday for a few hours.
The waterproof/durability is great, I use it in the bathroom a lot listening to the radio and no problems with water damage.
Cannot recommend this speaker enough! Worth the money and probably the best sound quality of a small speaker I have tried. Previously had a Creative Muvo Mini and Portable Sonos, this one trumps them in terms of sounds quality for sure, and other features. 5 stars +++ !

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersLet me tell you a story about me and my Wonderboom 2. I’m a bit of a music snob, full on Sonos in the usual residence, and way back in January this was an indulgence (got a bargain deal) for travel and work, and for when I was working away. Bit of a toy tbh. And yeah it did its job when I had no sonos, when away, occasional bants etc.
    Then COVID came.
I’ve been in an Airbnb with no WiFi since 1st April due to high risk job and high risk family (bad combo). No WiFi = no sonos. So it’s been me and the Wonderboom 2 for lockdown. No WiFi. No telly.
This bad boy has delivered. Not a day goes by when I’m not grateful to have this little speaker in my life. For the price and size it delivers a fantastic sound quality. I’ve fully tested this to a level far beyond its intended purchase and I continue to be impressed.
Thank you UE for all the music and for saving my sanity. You literally rock.

You just won’t believe how loud this little speaker is until you hear it, it’s stunning. I listen to amazon music on mine through my android Samsung phone, the clarity is superb even at full blast! The hang loop is absolutely essential to why i purchased this version of Ultimate ears Wonderboom. I’m disabled and i get around outdoors via my mobility scooter, i use the hang loop to hook it to a part of my scooter and then secure it via a carabiner hook with the screw lock safe and secure. I always listen to it full blast so the battery only lasts about 2 hours but, you can recharge it for the next time. It really is a truly fantastic piece of tech, i love it.
