Purchased these to use with indoor lanterns. Easy to set up and it’s great that they don’t overheat! Not set up remote control feature yet but may do so in future!
I’ve had these lights for over a year. They’ve been great. When I recently had a issue with the lights, the company sorted out the problem in lighting speed. I would highly recommend these lights.
Used the set for a new decking, look lovely and fit flush to surface. The remote is a bit flimsy and misshaped in the heat of the sun while we were installing the set. But still works.
We had a problem with a bulb, it started doing its own thing and not same colour at the others, however the customers service was brilliant, responded very quickly and arranged a replacement.
These are perfect in every way.
We’ve installed them in the bathroom for ambiance and they work perfectly.
Great choice of colours, the app is slick and the remote is great for quick colour changes.
Simple to install.
Just hope they are reliable because I don’t fancy changing them.
Did a lot of research and landed on these as best value for highly quality lighting of a new garden area. They’ve lived up to expectations – quality is spot on and they look fantastic. The range of colours using the remote is great for setting the right ambience. Bought an extension for the cable due to the position of my sockets, but not necessary if your socket is close enough. Make sure you get a compatible extension if you need one – there’s lots on the market but not all have the correct number of pins/connector size.

I contacted customer services as some of the lights have started to faulter… I can’t speak more highly off the fantastic respond from the team… They sent me replacement bulbs without quibble so for that I have increased my previous review of 4 stars to 5 for great customer service from Sally at fvtled

The wires between the lights are exactly 1 metre split over 2 lights (half and half) and I had to buy 15 extenders and that added 65 to the cost… excellent product but needs longer wires But for that I would happily have given 5*s.
Im very impressed with the speed of my delivery and how easy this product is to install. The instructions are very clear and precise and i especially like the information given for cutting the correct size of hole to mount the lights. The LED’s are very bright and easily controlled via RF controller. The controller is also very easy to use which does allow you to fine tune the level of brightness and colour of the LED’s. I would definately recommend this product.
The lights look so amazing in my back garden. I don’t know how easy they are to install as my builder did it for me. There are loads of different colours, the matt finish means the lights don’t shine in your eyes. Also different settings for colour changing. I’ve got them embedded in wooden sleepers. I’ve tried taking a photo with my phone but doesn’t look anywhere near as amazing as they look.
They haven’t been in for long so I can’t comment on how long they will last in British weather but the quality is very good and the functionality from the app is superb. Very simple to setup and connect to your Wi-fi network thanks to the QR code that you just scan. Love them!
Suitably impressed with these lights I’m not the best DIY’er but found these really easy and straight forward to install and set up with Alexa top product and more importantly the wife is well impressed with em.
UPDATE – JULY 2020:
Contacted INDARUN-EU support and after answering their questions and trying their suggestions to reset the WIFI controller they agreed to send me a new controller box at no extra cost, and this arrived about 7 days later.
The new WIFI controller connected to my Android phone perfectly this time, and stayed connected so I could then open the ‘Magic Home Pro’ app to enter my home WIFI router SSID name & password which are then stored in the WIFI controller memory. I have also purchased the other smaller white 5-pin RGBW WIFI & Infrared controller by INDRARUN-EU which is cheaper (9) and created my own adapter wire that joins the flat 5-pin connected to the round 5-pin connector of these lights, and this too works perfectly and you can have multiple WIFI controller devices added in the app, its great and the lights looks brilliant, and the app is excellent too, so I have adjusted my rating to 4 stars, losing 1 star because of the 1st faulty WIFI controller.
NOTE: these WIFI controllers only work on the 2.4ghz WIFI signal so if your phone defaults to 5ghz, you need to switch to 2.4ghz channel each time before you open the app to control the lights. Also note that once you setup the controller to connect to your router, the WIFI controller’s own SSID name of LEDnetXXXXXX will disappear and will no longer show in your available WIFI list of signals, so if you change your router password and you need to reconnect to LEDnetXXXXXX you will have to do the reset procedure (plug & unplug power to controller 4 times in slow succession), this should wipe the memory and allow the WIFI signal of LEDnetXXXXXX to return for initial setup once again.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Disappointed the WiFi on the led controller refuses to stay on long enough for the Android app to connect to it. My phone briefly sees it and connects and then the controller WiFi signal disappears.
Have contacted support, so hope to get a positive response, but if not I’m using Amazon returns to send it back for full refund.
We have got 2 sets of RGB + Warm lights and unfortunately couple of lights stopped working after 9 months. I contacted the seller through Amazon and got instant response and after standard troubleshooting steps they sent me new replacement lights.
We love these lights, worth the additional cost to get warm lights plus it is Google Home compatible which makes it amazing! Product & seller highly recommended!
Very decent product. Good value for money. Super simple to install. The control through the app via a phone is ok. They look great and seem very robust. So far have been installed for 4months through English winter and still work a treat.
Bought a set for my garden lights fitted into sleepers. No problems with them at all so bought a second set for more garden lights. Fitted the WiFi receivers next to one another which did restrict the distance the remote controls operated from but the ‘Magic Home’ app works flawlessly.

So far I have been very impressed with these lights. I installed them a couple of months ago. The wifi connection has worked great (I have an extender in my bedroom which overlooks the decking where the lights are installed). The phone app controller is very flexible and responsive. The physical controller isn’t so great, but does generally work ok. The lights are quite bright, very colourful and seem good quality. Hopefully they will last a long time.
hi I’ve recently purchased these lights and I’ve put them in my decking and using the remote control they work ok but not all the time. But I’m having real trouble connecting the internet or my alexa to the controller can you give me some advice. I’ve had them connected once maybe twice but they don’t stay connected.
So far i tried them and love the warm white glow from them, they seem to have good IP67 seals and will be installing them soon – i am still unsure as the exact position. but they go off softly and gently, not suddenly and sharp. Also the LED Driver box can be mounted with screw fixing and also come with an end cap for the final light.
If you use with only the remote control these are simple to install, basically just plug them in. If you want to connect to home wifi/Alexa etc you will probably need to scan the QR code included to view the detailed user guide as there are no proper instructions in the box. I have them set up with Alexa which is fun, and also have created additional light sequences with the app as I wanted mainly blues/greens/turquoise. I still haven’t explored all the possibilities with the app yet, there are so many options, like setting the colour based on the surrounding area by using the camera?! Overall fabulous set and would definitely recommend.
I was pleased when I bought this product last year, The functionality of the lights, and the flexibility of the options was unrivalled on Amazon, and I have yet to find anywhere else which sells a product as good – and all for a very reasonable price.
Special mention goes to the seller. when I turned the lights on again in the spring they wouldn’t work. A little diagnosis revealed that the wifi controller had stopped broadcasting an SSID. Without much hope I contacted the seller, well over six months after purchase. He politely took me through all the resets and tests I’d already done, then promptly replaced the defective component free of charge. All is now working well, and I am certain this was an unfortunate one-off defect. Good service like this deserves a reward, so I wholeheartedly recommend this seller, his products, and customer service.
We bought these lights to insert into the wall around our patio and they are perfect. They really compliment and enhance our garden. They are finished to a high quality . There was quite a bit of work involved in installing them between drilling the exact hole size in the walls but the effort was worth it.
Although I have not installed installed the decking lights as yet I’ve tested them and they give off a very good vibrant bright light.
I’m currently changing my decking boards which have all become rotten when built
Many years ago by the previous house owner and it seemed a real Shame to install the lights and take them out again, when some of the boards have been replaced!!
I will be installing at the front horizontal edge facing, which will look amazing because the ones that were there looked good but a few were faulty and they were no where near as bright as my new ones. My old ones were normal bulbs and these ones are led’s.
Some lights are really chunky but these are a lovely size (not too big and big too small)
The good thing is that I don’t have to buy a new drip piece to make the holes because I already have a drill bit big enough to make a hole for these to fit in!! Otherwise buying a drill bit fir the other bigger lights is quiet costly if you can’t borrow.
They ate really easy to install, you just connect up each individual light and plug in and off you go and that’s me who is not very good with electrical items but even I could connect them up!!
I will provide an update once my new decking is fitted and we are up and running and can’t wait till it’s finished.
