Heavy in power, light in weight

Powerful in concrete, the H3 is surprisingly lightweight and compact, making it ideal for overhead and other critical applications where conventional corded rotary hammers would be awkward and heavy to operate.

3 in 1 Cordless

Converts to a handy drill/driver at the turn of a dial. While similar tools force you to buy special bits, the H3 fits all standard drill and drive bits thanks to the supplied keyless chuck.

Power Share Platform

The Worx Lithium power battery platform is the ideal source of energy for the latest generation of power tools. It provides extreme performance and allows you to interchange your 20V batteries with any Worx 20V tool – across the garden and power tool ranges.

This 3in1 drill is pretty darn good, came in a nice case and the quick release chuck to SDS bit is a huge win win for me.

Really powerful drill that had do dramas with solid concrete.

This drill went through brickwork like butter excellent piece of kit just what I needed. Was a bit sceptical at first as the Worx hydro wash wasn’t up to much but this is spot on.

Little to find fault with, has enough power to get through most masonry and concrete, nice that you can switch to driver effortlessly after drilling a hole to drive in a bolt/anchor , really good tool to have.

I have only used this drill for a relatively short period of time but it has performed fantastic just like my other Worx tools. I find Worx tools to be very reliable and good quality. Highly recommend !!

I own a couple of worx tools and this drill doesn’t disappoint, a must have in your tools collection.

brought this as we have other products and mix and match with the same battery is so helpful, the drill works well, much better than my other battery drill which gave up the ghost after many years of good service, you must remember to top the battery up as if you leave the battery to discharge totally then it won’t hold the charge anymore, which is what happened to my old drill. on the hole a nice addition to the tool box.

Very easy to use. Light weighted and u get sds drill bits and other extensions for using as impact driver too.
    Really happy with the tool.
I always use worx, i got some other tools as well and all are worx branded. The best thing for using worx is u can swap over all the batteries to any worx tool.

Its okay, light and easy to use. You can share batteries with other WORX units. Good price but AMAZON seem to have prices go up and down like a yo-yo, and by large amounts. Largest online retailer has the monopoly!

Good drill but stopped working after 4 years , you pull the trigger and it sort of tries to work for a fraction of a second ( moves a tiny bit ) but no dice.

So far has done exactly what I want without costing the earth. Being lightweight and convenient, In combination with the big, heavy but very powerful SDS drill I already have it means I can cover just about any job I need to do.

I have a heavy mains SDS and a few cordless drills but wanted something in between.
This is very light and usable. Tried it with 8 mm into a brick and sank about an inch in no time.

his little beauty packs a tremendous punch. it will outdo my corded sds by a mile. the chuck will only accept up to 10 mm. but that’s not a issue. the product works well. I’m proud to be a worx fan.

Nice sds drill, bought it because I already have another cordless on worx. The only fault I found on this is that it does not hold screw bit longer it just loosen for some reason and comes off from the chuck. Just use it on sds is good powerful tool.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat price, great drill. Does the job well, spare batteries can be purchased from screwfix at a good price. I have drilled into concrete and it has done the job well.

This is not going to be the choice of a tradesman who uses tools more regularly but for the casual DIYer it is perfect.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI have been searching for a SDS tool like this for a while and I have been using Worx tools for some time now, I have a multi tool, a plunge saw so I’ll try not to be too biased. I was not entirely sure about what the performance would be like so I was a bit optimistic to say the least. In using the tool what first came to my attention was the speed, it did not seem to be fast enough as I’m used to higher bursts of speeds when the extra power is needed, so I’m disappointed with this. However, the hammer action does make up for this ‘shortfall’ (although one will need to get used to the speed). The unit is deceptively light giving the feeling that it may not be ‘man’ for the task at hand. What I have learnt over time is that to let this tool ‘do the work’ don’t put too much pressure on it otherwise the hammer action will ‘suffocate’ making the tool work very hard, resulting in making the task take longer, and slowing down the speed. An excellent tool to have in your tool kit though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDelivery was prompt.
I was a tad dubious after reading the mixed reviews but these fears were soon overcome after its maiden voyage. I had some work for it – putting shelves up in the garage! This little beauty was well up to the task. It’s light & mobile, easy to handle, not as fast as my cabled monster but did the job in its own sweet time.
    5-star recommendation from me.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have to fix various things high up on a hard pebble dash wall, so wanted a lighter drill without a mains cord for working up a ladder. I have an 18V DeWalt combi drill, with hammer action, but that has struggled to cut through this hard wall where it is not possible to push too much, so needed something more powerful with a pneumatic hammer action.

I have a Mac Allister SDS mains corded pneumatic hammer drill, which is significantly faster and more powerful than this Worx SDS battery drill, but the Mac Allister is very much heavier, 3.5kg, and also needs an electric cord. This Worx battery drill is much better, lighter, at 1.5kg, and more convenient for working up a ladder and is more than powerful enough for most jobs.

I would not be able to justify the current price of 110, though it is well worth that, but got this while on offer for 55, from Amazon EU S.a.r.L., including case, battery and charger. Have also bought an additional good-used 2Ah battery for just over 20, so in all a good bargain. However I can’t help wondering if there was some reason for being on offer, such as a defect in that particular batch, but time will tell.

There is the alternative “CEL 144HD 14.4 V Li-Ion SDS Plus Hammer Drill”, for around 77, with case, battery and charger, but the battery for that has a lower voltage and lower Ah capacity, so it likely to be less powerful and run down the battery more quickly. Also the Worx battery can be used with other Worx power-share tools.

I have since got the “WORX WG154E.9 20V Cordless Lithium-Ion Grass Trimmer, BODY ONLY”, which uses the batteries from the drill.

So far very pleased with this drill, but the main limitation is it cannot be used for chiselling, as it has no hammer only option, but for my needs that is a minor concern.

The more I use this drill the more I appreciate how good it is. As of 1 June 06 had to fix up some shelving while working on a step ladder and this was much better for drilling the 6mm fixing holes in the hard pebble-dash wall than either my 20V DeWalt combi hammer drill or my much heavier mains corded SDS drill. It really had enough punch to quickly get through the wall, but without the weight and cord of my mains SDS drill.

    =====================
    Added note, 16 May 16

Just used it for fixing up a new, fairly heavy, 150W LED flood light high on the wall of the house, which required secure fixing with shield anchor bolts.

For drilling the 6mm pilot and 12mm fixing holes, while on a ladder, it was excellent and so much easier than with my 20V Li-Ion DeWalt combi drill, or the much heavier Mac Allister SDS corded hammer drill.

Then working from ground level had to drill four 14mm holes though a 30cm thick solid brick wall. It was doing reasonably well for a couple, or so, of these holes, though slower than with the corded Mac Allister. However it struggled a bit in places and started to run out of juice on the recently recharged 2Ah battery, and I hadn’t yet got the second 2Ah battery. So had to finish the job with the corded Mac Allister SDS. However the battery was soon recharged in about an hour.

I think it did very well, but will have endurance limits on heavier jobs, particularly if you only have a single 2Ah battery and don’t want to stop to recharge that. The 4Ah battery would be better, but that would cost nearly another 50, not much short of what I paid for the drill on offer. Once I have the second 2Ah battery that should be enough, as one battery can be charging while the other is being used.

Anyway, very pleased with this drill and found it very effective and convenient to use. My old Mac Allister corded SDS will now get much less use, except for the more heavy duty jobs.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our Usershink about the reason you need this drill .if you are in heavy industries where you need to drill large bore holes through concrete then this is not for you .however ..if you are a CCTV /alarm engineer a spark or plumber /kitchen fitter then you have just found a bargain TIP keep your eyes open for AMAZON changing the price i have seen this drill for almost 200 and as low as 55 i bought it for 55 .you get a ergonomic drill with a few bits and screw driver bits and a 2amp battery with one hour fast charger and a case and a 13mm [half inch ] chuck not the best quality but you have bought this drill for drilling brick .its an excellent drill and at the price i paid a stupid bargain .i also have the WORX ;;normal; drill that comes with 2 X 1.3 AH batteries and fast charger and case its also a brush less motor [like an LG washing machine } the drill has 60 NM of torque and is a superb buy its a good as drills that cost twice as much BATTERIES ..you can purchase generic 18 volt 2.5 AH batteries from amazon for around 25 they will fit all WORX drills with the 20 volt battery

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersGreat drill – okay not as fast as some of the more ‘famously known’ drills but it worx really well.
Only downside would be getting just the one battery but they are only about 40 to buy and I have already purchased one.
Plus side is the weight – for such a lightweight drill it still packs a powerful punch and will drill easily through concrete which is the main reason for me to purchase it.
    Well worth five stars!
