5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the job
Very versatile I use this for cutting steel pipe work and it’s power for a battery tool is second to no e
Some storms played havoc on one of my trees and a load of branches fell or drooped into my neighbour’s garden. Suitably embarrassed I promised to clear the branches away but found my old mains-powered reciprocating saw had died. So I searched through Amazon to see what could be delivered next day and realise that a cordless saw would be so much easier. I thought that I would regret my decision but the battery powered saw was just as good as my old saw and I was worn out before the battery was. I now feel like I’m accidentally locked into the Worx brand so I can use the same battery in multiple tools, but I don’t regret it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely love my new toy.😂😂
Bought this to get through over growing tree branches and thickness of ivy and Japanese knot weed. Even took part of the fence down. Love it love it love it. Charged very quickly too. So versatile.
4.0 out of 5 stars Worx Reciprocating saw
A versatile product that helps carry out a variety of diy projects
Totally worth i
Was denied a chainsaw by the missus and my mom, got this instead as a compromise. Totally did the trick and got me hooked on the Worx eco-system. Be careful – it’s addictive! Already have 4 more tools from the hot-swap battery range….
Took down 4 trees with zero prior practical knowledge, just theoretical. Easy to use, easy to clean, great kit and expecting it to last for years..
Buy one today – there will be no regrets.
I’m currently busy doing some project work in the back garden which has a few big trees whose roots are starting to push up through the surface in quite a few places. I needed to remove them to complete my work but a standard wood saw was definitely out of the question and I managed to break all five blades on my jigsaw. I tried a chisel drill borrowed from a neighbour but it was just bouncing on the roots most of which were three to four inches thick. It was time to find a solution, I already have a Worx plunge saw which I am more than happy with so when I saw the Worx reciprocating saw at a very good price I didn’t hesitate. The quality is second to none, (except maybe Milwaukee, but boy, are they expensive). Anyway, the first root I cut out with a pruning saw took me four hours, I did the other five with the Worx in less than two hours including the digging out. The wood blade that came with the saw made short work of everything, I can see this tool getting a lot of use in the future.
I bought this to cut up an old wooden fence to dispose of it, it works wells for this job and has saved me hours of work with a manual saw.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality as with all worx products
Superb as all the batteries are usable on other worx products
4.0 out of 5 stars Beware southpaws.
My righthanded neighbour was able to use this with ease – as a left hander however I found it impossible to control the machine making it dangerous. I was also puzzled that the machine itself only had 3 metal contacts for the 4 contact battery. Not sure if this would cause operational problems in the future.
USED THE SAW SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS/GOOD QUALITY TOOL/3 YEARS GUARANTEE
USED MAINLY SO FAR FOR WOOD – DECK BOARDS & OTHER WOOD CUTTING
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice saw
Got this as a replacement saw . Works well good Charge on it . And comes in a nice little bag
Does just what its says it will
This was bought to prune trees and chop down an old shed, which it did with ease. Brilliant bit of kit and will get used for other projects I am sure. Could do with a bit more power from the battery.
5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the money
This made quick work of cutting thick branches on shrubs and trees in my garden. Excellent, really pleased with it. The bag is bigger than needed and not particularly good quality but at least there is one!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality
This is typical excellent Worx quality. I have several Worx products and they never fail to please. I have given this 5 stars purely because of the quality even though I had to return it because I found it too heavy for my arthritic wrists. Anyone with no such problems will find this a fantastic produc
Wow considering the price, I was quite shocked at what this saw could do even with the 2.0AH battery. It took care of 40ft of really heavy duty bushes with 3 charges of this battery and 2 with the 5AH battery. The one thing I did notice was that the included blade was good quality especially when compared to the cheap blades I purchased separately. Next time I will go for a better quality blade. I did also discover that “Red Robin” bushes with a 3″ trunk are seriously heavy going.
Overall it was a great purchase and would recommend this as a seriously good piece of kit and was more than powerful enough to cut through a large number of heavy bushes. I would recommend getting at least another 2.0AH battery if not a 5.0AH one
5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful tool for cutting woods
I have been using this company products for a long time. one good feature of their products is that you can use the batteries for all products. this saw is particularly powerful when you want to cut some wooden board.
recommended
Fab. Just cut through a ceased up screw, an apple tree, a 4×2 timber and a plastic pipe. Well made, easy to use. No onto my 4th worx tool!
I own many Worx tools & bought this saw having been impressed by their other products.
This saw met with my expectations. It comes in a nice & essential carrying holdall.
Comfortable to hold in use i cannot fault it. The battery is the same as on my other Worx tools, a good feature that means i have plenty of back up power if needed.
Highly recommended.
I have other Worx kit so this fits in well with my tools. It was so good at pruning branches that I even took down an apple tree with a trunk of 9 inches diameter with no problem. Well done Worx.
