Decent vest better than my mk2 british miltary vest i used as a bouncer didnt know wether to buy one of these as iam 6.3 and 20 stone so didnt think they would fit at all as most one size fits all items dont fit but can be adjusted which makes it better than the mk2 and feels good on would recomend to anyone

great vest, wearing it at work for now to loosen it up, have taken all the plates out for now, plus have made myself two new 2kg plates, found 4Kg plate to heavy at minute, i must have a big head as it is a bit tight getting on lol, all the velcro strappings are good making it easy on & off.

if you want to add weight or decrease it (if you are having trouble buying online) find a steel fabricator to make some, or if you buy some 2mm plate use an angle grinder to cut the plate and then paint it yourself, took me about 1 hour to make, 2mm plate = 2Kg if you copy the some size plate that comes with the vest.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis vest is by far the most comfortable one I have used and was recommended to me by my coach at Crossfit. Being able to alternate plates to the front and the back is great, as it allows me to simulate a backpack when running or use the vest traditionally during crossfit.

I made the mistake of pulling the emergency release which is quite fiddly to put back together. I contacted the guys at Zp1 to make sure I was doing it right and they sent me instructions on how to do it which was great customer service, even though I purchased through Amazon. Moral of the story – only pull the emergency release in an actual emergency!

I shopped around before committing to my new vest and was chuffed to see what looks like exactly the same vest marketed by someone else for at leady 60 more – the vest at this price is an absolute bargain and absolutely solid.

Hopefully additional heavier plates will be available soon, because I’m using my vest so much I’m going to need to progress!

    A solid comfortable ves
