Not what I expected
These are good lights but perhaps I didnt read about them fully, they stay on low all the time in the dark and then shine brighter when motion detected, I only wanted them for motion detection.
Does everything I want it to do.
Came packed with fixings for one lamp only and one of the lamps was not fully clingfilm wrapped making me think this may be a returned product. But both work well so not too concerned.

I bought this to replace a Frost Fire light , (exactly the same ) that has failed but, after being nearly 10 year old.

Ok if plenty of bright light - good price
Bought he MK1 version 4 years ago without the dim mode – didn’t work much in winter as north facing had to turn off for days with pin so as to charge up so not expecting any different as it will never be off much even in summer , old ones still ok!
Provide a good motion detection ligh
When I first installed this light I was concerned because it did not give a bright light when activated by motion detection but the following night the light worked well giving a bright light when activated. Light installed at the beginning of December so limited daylight to charge the solar cells but light worked well , certainly for a good number of hours, cannot say if it worked all night as I went to bed. Light gives a dim light during the hours of darkness and a bright light when activated. Used light to provide illumination above my door to enable me to see key hole easily, light did that job.
Okay outside light.
Was perfect the first night I put up, then the second night it was so dim ( I’m putting this down to hardly any sunshine ) but a good sunny day today so hopefully will be OK tonight.

Great little light units
Order some more of these units as impressed with first one so now have a total of 7.
They work exactly as described giving great security lighting, low all night then very bright when motion is detected then drop back to low light. At the moment they are coming on at dusk and are still alight at dawn.
Very impressed with the support from the supplier when I had a hiccup, will be using them again.
Solar light with motion detecto
These are so easy to fit up and use, after a day in the sun the lights are excellent. Light up at dusk with a dim brightness that does not disturb wildlife, but if someone walks past light gets brighter so you can see where you are going. Not triggered by cats, even the fox and badger don’t every time and if they do they seem to ignore it. Does what it says in the information.

Excellent value for money
I first Purchased these lights for the front of my house 5 years ago. Today they are still working. I have purchased more for the back of my house.
Fantastic value for money, rustproof, bright, very easy to install. I have them situated at my front door, so everytime I approach my front door these lights come on. Excellent value for money 100%
Great Light For Small Area
Great light for lighting up that small area. I have mine just above my dustbins. It gives off enough light to see clearly without lighting up your whole garden. I’ve had these before and really recommend them if you’re not looking for a powerful security light.

Brought to replace the same one from a good few years ago which does still work just the solar panel was sun damaged and was curling off, but it did take a good few years before it started doing tha
Stands out (in a good way)
I have tried 3 different “budget” solar lights before this one, and this is the only one that actualy works as it is supposed to, and is truly weatherproof! Been up for about two months, seen quite a bit of rain, and still working perfectly. When it gets dark, the dimmed light comes on permanently, then upon movement it switches to bright for about a minute.
Impressed
We were really impressed with this light, it is very bright and just what we needed to show our house number when it gets dark, it also brightens when someone sets of the motion detection making it easier when the delivery driver needs paying at the door for our take away, all in all it seems a very good light so far, but not sure how long the batteries will last only time will tell on that one.
I purchased this solar light for a’blind/dark’ spot at the corner of my house for when I take the dogs out last thing. I paid 11.99 for it and was a little unsure what I would get. When it arrived I was quite shocked at how small it was, I know it would have said, but, in reality, it’s a little smaller than a romantic paperback!
However all that being said, I put it up, and that same evening, on taking the dogs out, the corner of the house really lit up well, and I was extremely pleased. Today I wanted to order another couple as they’re so unobtrusive, but, I see it’s 2 more per light! I now have a quandary, do I order 2 x more lights knowing they’re cracking little lights, or, do I look for cheaper ones. Coffee and a ‘think’ time.
