The ABUS Granit padlock range has been designed in accordance with Swedish insurance specifications, which are known for their standards. The European CEN standards specify similarly high requirements. ABUS Granit padlocks meet these demanding standards and are therefore considered to be among the secure padlocks in the world. Their pinch or tensile resistance is over 6 tonnes. One review indicated this lock was too large for a Public Storage locker, but it fits just fine if it is angled slightly down when installed. The facility I have, a locker, is rife with theft; hopefully, two of these monsters will make the thieves think twice before attempting to steal.
I rest easy knowing that locker thieves can’t violate my locker, unless they cut apart the steel locker which will take time and power cutting tools. They’ll skip mine and hit other lockers that are easier to break into
It might take some creativity to get it to fit on a storage unit door, but it’s the more secure for it. I may have bought the ABUS 20/70 which is a discus lock with the same core for less money and the same effect. Just be aware of your options, both locks are great for the storage unit job.
Robust lock that looks tough & secure, very heavy duty but could have come with more than the one spare key.
Love this thing, bit more on the expensive side but can you put a price on peace of mind?

This lock is rugged and appears to be worth the money
TBH this was bought for an 8 year old that is obsessed with padlocks but we were impressed with it. In comparison to some of his other good ones the quality is fantastic.
One of the best padlock on the market, Have had one of these padlocks for over 5years and it just started playing up all it requires is a bit of 3in1 oil and gently heat over a kettle now its working like new. Bought another 1 for backup but im pretty sure my old one will last for many years to come. Definitley worth the money
This padlock is very well built and will resist even the most determined attack for some time. It’s almost impossible to get anything onto the shackle to cut it and the lock casing is drill proof.
If you need a high security lock and can afford an ABUS then I highly recommend this one.
