Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo far great! Time will tell. Still new. I just need water lights. This is louder than I thought it would be but that's great. It will muffle any backyard conversation from escaping my yard into the neighbors. This isn6 gallons of distilled water and a water clarifier anti-algae solution.

So here is what I learned about this. It is a great fountain. However, if it is where the wind blows, water goes everywhere. in fact, enough that that water level can drop a couple inches in no time. Here is what I did. Got a piece of glass cut, had a hole put in it and had it tempered. Used framing clips to loosely hold to back. It is loose enough to slip out for cleaning. And last time I cleaned, applied a good amount of Rain-X. It works wonderfully now and very little water spillage. The pictures show it without the glass and then the glass in place.

Love this. Holds up the MN weather well. The only downfall is when there is a breeze. Because of the open back, it tends to waste a lot of water is there is any air movement outside.

    First impressions
    Very easy to setup
    Next day delivery
    Looks quite good
I’ve still got to add lights and maybe some pebbles
I’ll update this review after it’s been running a few weeks

Water feature I am well pleased with i
This water feature needs to be placed where the wind can’t get to it as the wind every wind blows the water all over the place but I think it is Good water feature

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersFor PERFECT fountain performance, DO THIS:
I’m not a VINE (whatever that is) or a paid reviewer.

First and foremost: This is a fantastic fountain.

    Audio level:
High pump setting: 67.0 dB avg (measured for 21 seconds while moving up/down tiers and maintaining a 2″ distance to the microphone. (equivalent to a normal conversation or quiet street)

    Water splash:
Wind = splashes. No wind = sprinkles. Indoor installations should expect sprinkles on nearby objects. Outdoor installations should expect sprinkles and occasionally large splashes on nearby objects. The curtain of water will respond to the wind just like any other curtain in the wind.

Here’s how I achieved the perfect performance:
(Please read all products safety information)

    Levelness:
The fountain should be level front/back/left/right. Using the following product worked perfectly.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BQW2TBVN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Power:
Add a smart outlet. If you are using home automation, you can use the link below to find an appropriate outlet that can be used to power the pump and any added light accessories that can use 120vac.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BFGRY9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Safety:
For outdoor installations, here’s a nice box that can be used for the plugs.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BFGRY9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    THE STEP EVERYONE IS MISSING:
Put a small drop or two of dishwasher rinse-aid on your index finger and smear a light film across each tier’s dried downspout (I just wiped it dry with a cloth). (I also rubbed my finger across the sponge for good measure)

    Results:

This fountain has been running for 42 hours (14-hour intervals), and I have had NOT a single instance of the water curtain splitting, all while maintaining a consistent sound level and splash volume. (Tested at minimum and maximum pump settings)

    Great water feature
Bought mine as a Amazon Warehouse Return at discounted price. Arrived in better that advertised condition. Said medium scratches, but I couldn’t find any. Appeared brand new to me, box was a little damaged but that was all. Easy to assemble, instruction easy to follow. Little fiddly to get the wing nuts on but a little patience was all that was required.
Great Water feature when running. Looks and sounds fantastic. I added some Solar LED lights behind mine to give a nice look at night.

We are planning to build a little deck on the side of our house so we wanted to get a water feature. We looked at a few at local big box hardware stores and also smaller garden stores and they were EXPENSIVE. We found this one and it was even a little discounted so we figured we'd give it a try. We were SO pleasantly surprised. It has a lovely sound. We also like the simple, contemporary style. We ended up replacing the pump with a solar-powered one, which doesn't have quite the same power as the electric one, but we are still very happy with the water flow volume and sound. One thing to note is that if it's outside, the wind will blow the water out of the troughs, so you can't put it anywhere that can't get wet.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFantastic Fountain!
This fountain is an awesome addition to our roof deck in the city. It conceals a lot of noise and is aesthetically pleasing.

As far as the poor reviews regarding a lot of splashing, there are two important points:

    1) DO NOT REMOVE THE BLACK MESH THAT APPEARS TO BE SHIPPING MATERIAL. I accidentally did this and it did result in a lot of splashing and an uneven flow. These pieces are there to help the water smoothly flow from one level to the next.

    2) Adding some river rocks, especially to the top two tiers has helped make it flow much smoother as well.

After owning this for a year, I’m very satisfied and would certainly purchase if again!

    Problem sorted
We had a leak with our water feature and Alpine have been fantastic and are replacing it and not charging us for shipping, they have dealt with this within hours.
    Definitely recommend them

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI love this fountain, but when it is windy, it loses a lot of water! We retro fitted it with a piece of glass on the back, thanks to another reviewer, and that helped a lot. The sound level is medium to loud, which is what I wanted for traffic noise. When the wind blows, the water flow on the tiers gets messed up. I put some Vaseline on the edges to help with this issue. It is not perfect, but it did help some. I added some lights for at night. I would have given it five stars for how much I liked it but the water loss, no lights, and how much I had to mess with it cost it a star.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAlmost perfect!
With the addition of some large white pebbles in each tray, the sound becomes just what we wanted: really pleased. Just one proviso: the installation manual does warn that small debris (leaves etc) can easily fall into the 3 tanks which may then reduce the pumps efficiency and require frequent cleaning; so, dear manufacturer, why not provide three water tank covers to be used when it is not in use? Surely most users turn off the feature when they are not actually in their gardens? We have made our own covers, using sheets of perspex cut to size. These have reduced evaporation, stopped the ingress of debris as well as keeping out the birds (especially the bird poo!). As a result, we have had no issue with pump clogging or with evaporation. So, when we are asked to pay a premium price (for an undoubtedly high quality product), why not provide for a few pence more, 3 simple lids that would solve the biggest problems recognised by the manufacturer?

    Fabulous purchase, love it!
I received this today and couldn’t wait to set it up, very easy to set up and seconds for the pump to begin and the amazing waterfall to circulate, the look of it is absolutely fabulous, the waterfall effect is out of this world, so soothing and relaxing, I know it might be a little expensive but I am so glad I purchased it, I have been looking at different ones for a while but I really liked this one so went ahead and thought sod it!!!!
Best thing I did I absolutely love i

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersExceeded expectations
Absolutely love this water feature! It isn’t made of cheap fake resin material made to look like something else, its actually a lovely zinc metal. It only took seconds to build as its just 4 fixings, 2 of which are fairly fiddly to attach, but nothing a little patience can’t solve. It has 3 falls of water so is a loud water feature, as opposed to the type where the water will silently slide down a surface etc. Which is just what we wanted. It’s big too, which is another feature we searched for, as we wanted to see the water feature and not just hear it. Supplied with a regular 3 pin uk plug on a sufficient length cable. Pump has various settings and is absolutely silent when fully submerged in the water. Highly recommend

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWhat the....
    This is worth every penny!
    I didn’t figure it’d be so big!
The waterfall is gorgeous, BIG, and surprisingly quiet for its size. Everyone that sees it, compliments me. Only star I take off is because this should come with lights. I have a resin 36 inch version of this one and it looks great in day and awesome at night because it came with lights.
Warning: DO NOT have it outside, exposed to elements. This is thin tin and will rust easily. Mine hasn’t but, I know it will if kept outside because of another fountain I had on front door that was made with same material and within 5 months, it rusted.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis replaces another fountain (Alpine) which lasted about 3 years before it rusted and collapsed. This is a nice sized fountain. It has no illumination, so I took the recommendation of another review and added LED strip lighting (under $20) to the back and it looks good at night. There is no back to the fountain so you see the wall behind it. I have it outside and when it starts up it does splash. A quick finger swipe to the black sponge baffles alleviates this quickly (works itself out after a while). I put it on 4" blocks to keep it off the ground and hopefully delay rust and extend life. So far so good and the price was reasonable for the size.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersLove it!
I wanted a fairly noisy fountain and I’m glad to say this one delivers! Offers a lovely and loud pouring sound and looks stylish too. Easy to set up, not sure why other reviewers have left poor reviews based on this. Packaging was good. Wish it was a little cheaper, but realistically it’s what you’d likely pay at a garden centre. Overall, pleased I got this one over others I’d shortlisted.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOf all the fountains I looked at in this price range, this one was the tallest, which I needed for the wall I was putting it on. The bottom catch basin doesn't stick out quite far enough, which causes the water to blow out when you get a strong wind. One of the fountain ledges causes the water to stream in a "v" sometimes instead of a smooth flow, but we overlooked that because the soothing sound it makes is what we were looking for. Overall, it's a good product. If you use it indoors you won't have to worry about the wind aspect. this is not a reflection of the product, but thought it would be funny to mention that our dog keeps dropping her ball in the bottom catch basin, so she loves it too, and now thinks it's a game. With that said, some pets may think this is a drinking dish, as it is large enough for them to get their head in to drink from (with getting splashed that is). The finish was metal, which was surprising to us (we thought it was going to be plastic). We tried to convert the pump to a solar pump and it wouldn't work bc the tubing on this fountain is 3/4" tubing. Still trying to find some adapters to make it work.
