Great fit and comfortable on longer rides. I’ve not purchased a second

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI try alsorts of cycling gear and I have come to learn you get what you pay for.
First off, these are pro quality shorts. I’d put them up with Gore and assos
The straps, you don’t know they are there.
Like the piece across the back, just keeps everything in place but certainly no pull on the shoulders.
The silicone on the legs is the really sticky stuff it doesn’t go all the way round but there is also a panel of dots further up.
To be honest I’m torn between L and XL.
The XL felt easier overall but the legs a little slack at the cuffs?
The L I thought was a bit too tight but I haven’t tried them back to back. They are more of a compressive fit and that’s ok. On me.
Having now ridden in the XL I’d probably keep them for MTB and get some L for road.
I wear 34 jeans and not a skinny cyclist.
If that helps. I take XL in FDX and L in Assos
The ceramic print is what will make these more expensive and I guess it’s to help with the odd crash/slide? It’s on the side.
I think it also might be reflective?
There are two listings but I don’t see the difference?
They come up quite high, probably not easy for a toilet stop.
The pad is good for the short ride I did, it’s an upside down pad like pro clothing and I get the theory of that. I see good reviews for long distance comfort and I have no reason to doubt that.
All in all give these a go I think you would be surprised and certainly ok for the price.

A nice fit for me. Leg grippers work well. Pad is comfortable.

Really really comfortable, free saddle sore ride. Worth the money.

Good padding and a comfortable fit. Leg room a bit too generous for me but as the season goes on and the miles get logged I’m sure my leg muscles will grow to fit allowing the grippers to do their job.
