Good daily backpack. Looks nice too. I use it for laptop and notepads etc and it’s perfect for work. Just the right size for what I need.

Haven’t tried the waterproofing yet but it feels resistant.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have had this bag since April 2017 and have been using it everyday since I got it for school then univeristy and for travelling. The bag is still in perfect condition and the zips have no issues despite me filling it completely on multiple occasions. Very spacious in both the front and main pocket; perfect for books and a laptop. More durable than bags ive spent much more on and has a neat simplistic design. The only issue is when the bag is heavy and carried of a while, especially with light clothing on, the straps can get mildly irritating, apart from that it is perfect.

Seems like a great bag, strong and comfortable and has lots of handy pockets on the inside and one on either side for water bottle/umbrella etc. Only complaint is that the red is nothing like the bright red in the picture, it really is more of a burgundy colour which is still nice but not what I wanted/expected

Very basic bag, reminds me of a Xiaomi backpack that I have. Perfect for day to day storage but little protection due to lack of padding. However, no complaints due to the price and would say it’s the best backpack at this price range and conveniently stores my iPad in the sleeve pocket and other items in the main area. First purchase had wear on it but Amazon customer service quickly replaced it and no issues since.

I have managed to destroy 2 back packs in as many months. I use this one for work (laptops and the like)
This bag is simple but does what it needs to – it’s been a while now and no fraying, splitting or sticky zips. I like the colour of grey – if I was being picky, a little more waterproofing would make it even better (but it’s shower proof!)

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBought backpack in RED in April 19; it is now August 19 and mine has broken (see ‘cons’ section)

    PROS:
-Lightly padded pouch at the back fit my 14″ Laptop perfectly
-Little zipped compartment at the very back inside the bag to store keys, compact mirror tampons etc.
-Enough room to fit an A4 folder, laptop, small lunch box, pencil case etc.
-Two Little pockets in the large part of the backpack that fit my phone, power bank and calculator. Two mini pockets that fit a pen each.
-I am a 5’6″ woman. Any practical backpack is usually too bulky, and anything smaller is usually impractical. This was the perfect size for taking to university, and the straps are wide enough that it won’t hurt your shoulders even with a lot in.
-Survives the perils of english weather without making everything in my bag soggy.
-The red is a tasteful wine shade; Not too bright so I don’t feel like Dora the Explorer wearing it.

    CONS:
-the pockets either side are not elasticated so will not fit some bottles (they are velcro fastened so I just use them for hair clips, a usb cable etc)
-Took on a camping trip and the adjusting buckle thing on one of the straps broke when I shoved the bag into my car. It survived college but isn’t sturdy enough to swing about like a sack of potatoes. I ordered a second one, for 10 you really can’t grumble.
-It has an ‘amazonbasics’ label on one strap. This hasnt bothered me in the slightest but you may prefer to cut it off.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis was amazing when I first bough it, it had exceptionally fast delivery however after about 6 months it wasn’t going great. I had used this as my schoolbag and the stitching it the back pocket inside the main pocket has come out so there is no bottom to the pocket. The small pockets inside are slippery so things fell out. The rest of the bag is lovely size, comfortable and practice. It’s a shame the stitching was so weak. I would recomend just don’t put fairly heavy items in the pockets such as a portable charger or a phone and it would be fine.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersUsed the bag for a good 4 months since purchase, still using the bag today. It’s a good bag, I see a lot of reviews that complain about the bag. It should be noted that this bag is not intended for heavy loads, or to be over packed – it is in the name; a BASIC backpack. It does as it says; It holds 500ml plastic waterbottles just fine on the side. I carry my 13 inch Macbook Pro, a notepad, and a textbook everyday; the bag holds the load well, and it isn’t hard on the shoulder (I tend to only use 1 strap – it is comfortable enough).

It is a reliable bag, I recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPretty good bag. Amazing for the price. It’s perfect for just day to day stuff. Wouldn’t be so great for a big trip but on the other hand you can cram a fair bit in it.
There are a few compartments inside and it is waterproof. Straps are a bit thin though so if you’re carrying a lot it can get a lil uncomfortable.
There are compartments on the inside of the front but if you have something in there it tends to flop forward when you open it. That can get a little annoying but once you’re away of it it’s fine and overall the bad points don’t take away from a good bag that’s great value.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLove it, now I have it. Use it all the time because I can’t resist how comfortable and useful a backpack is, from someone who totes everything around – no more! The padded straps and back are excellent.

I would say it is value for money, but I discovered the seams inside are appalling. Don’t know how long it will last…..Can we do better Amazon?

If only they could make a sports one, with water bottle feature, etc.

Also, not waterproof, but that is asking too much perhaps.

This is lovely backpack, my 12 years old daughter is very pleased with, much more than with similar backpack we got on a high street last year.
The zips work well and there is an inside compartment for laptop / tablet plus small inside pocket with zip for keys or other important bits.
The two pockets on the sides have velcro closures. I’m not a fan of velcro, it tends to collect hair and scratch hands but she does not see it as an issue. The front pocket is rather roomy and can take a lot of additional stuff.

If you are going for “aqua” colour have in mind that the backpack is not black but grey on the back, on my monitor it looks black but in reality it is grey, the only black elements are the zips, handle and ends of the straps. Also the blue colour is much lighter than on the picture. It would be good if there was also dark grey fabric on the base of the backpack… as the blue base will get very dirty soon.

Nevertheless it is a very good backpack but personally I would go for a bit darker colour.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI brought this bag to out my mobile, 11.9″ Chromebook and headphones in, along with a few other things and it worked really well, keeping all my stuff dry from the rain and did not show any sign of rain inside when I took my stuff out. The colour is just like the picture, and the arm straps are really well padded too, which surprised me for a 13.99 backpack. It is not too heavy either, which is nice and feels strong. The arm straps are really easy to adjust as well. There are logos on the zip tags but no where else on the bag which might be good if you are conscious of such things. The pouch on the front is quite a generous size too, which is nice. I managed to fit a can of cola comfortably in this pouch and it didn’t seem to be a tight fit either. I haven’t had anything heavier in it yet, but I think it would take the weight of anything I can put in it judging by the build of this bag.

This is a really good size well made backpack.
We are a family with two young children so going out for the day means taking a range of items with us, this bag is ideal. It’s not heavy to begin with and the straps add enough padding so the bag is comfortable to wear. The pockets on the side of the bag are useful for keeping drinks in and the inside pocket is useful for valuables as it would not be easily accessible when you are wearing it.
It’s shower proof but I wouldn’t want to use it in a downpour!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this expecting it to be cheap and cheerful. It really isn’t that at all, this is an excellent rucksack. All the stitching is very strong with no loose ends and the fabric feels of a very good quality almost like a car upholstery fabric very tough.

The Zips are all good and don’t catch and the internal pocket and front pockets are a useful size for smaller items.

The only criticism I could find is if you have the bag very heavily loaded the straps do become a little uncomfortable because the are not the widest. They are padded though so for normal use (laptop book and lunch) it is plenty comfortably.

    Exceeded my expectations, would recommend.
