    Turns night into day!
Turns night into day! Really bright light coming from it and just what I wanted, fed up with bedroom being dim light unless we put on bedside lamps, you need sunglasses with this bulb excellent and would recommend

    It's a light that work's!
Looking to brighten up that dark room with a light bulb that work’s then this is for you, this allows you to see that lego that’s awaiting your bare feet to stand on our that pair of she’s that someone left right in the walkway!

Anyway it’s a lovely bright white light that works

Very bright for a small lamp
I bought these bulbs to use with a small bed side lamp. if anything its probably too bright as the small lamps probably light up the room more than my main ceiling light. if you’re looking for bright bulbs. these will do it !

They are good light bulbs at a reasonable price and do what they are meant to do.
They are good light bulbs that look good and do what they are bought to do.
I have used them before and they appear to last well.
    Price is reasonable.

    Brigh
Nice and bright and no warm up needed to get these bulbs bright from the on! Can’t comment on the longevity yet as they haven’t been used too much yet. Seem great so far.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAs bright and white as advertised, adequate life
This is the second pair of these lamps I’ve bought. The bulb being replaced (same type) lasted about 30 months in use (1 year 8 months). Assuming it worked for the advertised 15,000 hours life, that means use of about 16-17 hours a day. I suspect average use in reality has been more like 12-15 hours. So, not bad life but perhaps a little less than advertised.

A lot of LED bulbs I’ve bought have not been nearly as bright as advertised or lasted anything close to their stated life. These bulbs aren’t like that, which is why I’ve bought them a second time.

Good value, no frills led bulbs
As long as you don’t need dimming or colour hue changing then these are a good choice. Good value. Can’t say how long they last, haven’t had them long enough

    How Much
Over the years I have been gradually replacing old ineeficient bulbs which in turn should reduce my electricity consumption which in turn is good for the planet. These bulbs only use 14w and give 100w equivalent light. The rating of “F” is confusing though. When buying decide if you want a bright crisp white “daylight or a warm yellow glow, “warm white. My main reason why i haven’t replaced all my bulbs at one go is the huge expense of these type of bulb, Regarding the “should last for” claim take this with a pinch of salt as it depends on may factors ie light fitting, position, how many time it is switched on and off and how long its on. Anyway by the time it does fail you probably wont remember where and where you bought them and even if you good luck with thrying to get a replacement.

Very bright, nice clean white light - but quite large bulbs!
They give a lovely bright white light. It immediately makes a room look brighter and more modern. However, I have two issues with them:

Firstly, the size: These 100w equivalent bulbs are noticeably larger that their 60w counterparts and ask such, they may not fit in a small housing. I had this issue with some of my light fittings.

Secondly: The price. They cool white ones are 3 more expensive than the warm white ones. Why?

But overall, a nice set of bright bulbs at an ok price.

You get what you pay for!
There’s not overly much to say about the product, given that they are lightbulbs, but they do the job for a good price. The light produced is definitely “cool” versus “warm”, so just be aware of that!
I bought this item online (obviously!), in order to save myself a trip out of the house, particularly during lockdown. Delivery was overnight, which was great. However, one of the two bulbs did not work- not shattered or anything, but I could hear the filament rattling when I took it out of the box. I tried it just in case, but it was definitely not usable. Amazon was super about the return though, and I received a new (working!) set the next day, at no extra cost.
So, I would say, you get what you pay for! Convenience, but with the potential for not being particularly convenient if they don’t work!

very bright but bluer light than i though
very bright bulbs – at 4000k i expected more a yellow/red light but this is more true white and bluer than i thought ,unless its the brightness of them fooling me which could be the case

    very good bright bulbs though

if you want more background atmosphere light probably better getting another bulb at a lower W, i thought with the lampshade i was putting them in i’d go a bit brighter to compensate and now im thinking i’ll buy some lower power bulbs and use these elsewhere as a main ligh

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersThey light up my life
Absolutely love how bright these bulbs are. I bought them to put in my outdoor wall lantern so that the front of my house was well lit at night time. I can definitely say these work well as my drive is lit well enough to see if anyone is approaching my house without looking like Blackpool illuminations. They work well in my lantern and would buy for my indoor lights but sadly they are not the same fitting. The price is another bonus as we all know saving money is what we all love to do, the fact these work great and are a great price is what had me sold. My street has poor lighting so having these bulbs is added security and have encouraged neighbours to use them.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersWork fine in our dimme
Well this was interesting. Long story short, these bulbs work fine in our dimmer controlled uplighters.

The long story is that I bought these to replace the 150W bulbs in our quite old Ikea uplighters – our last non-LED bulbs. They work fine, producing plenty of light such that we are quite happy with them. Nice warm glow like the old bulbs too. But then when we turned them off, we discovered they were still glowing a bit. Umm, that’s not good. Got to send them back. But as I was preparing to do that, I wondered how they could be getting power when there was none. So I dug up my power meter socket, and experimented. They were taking about 2W of power even on the dimmer’s lowest setting. And 14W when on the highest setting. So I tried the old bulb, and that took 167W on highest, and 2W on lowest. So for years, our dimmers have been leaking a small amount of power all the time. And of course the old bulbs didn’t glow from that small amount so we never knew.

So, now we know it isn’t anything to do with the bulbs, we are happy to keep them. And they produce light at just 2W of power on the dimmer too! We shall be turning the main switch off when they are not in use…

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrilliant (and "compact")
Late edit: having now used Phillips, they definitely dim much better. So star taken off these.

Despite the warning I use these in enclosed fixtures. About 20 odd…

With LEDs it is typically important to get branded bulbs (Phillips, Toshiba etc) and a quality and COMPATIBLE dimmer. One must also consider load levels on the circuit, and the max/min dimming settings. Having tested so many of these, it is my belief that those experiencing flicker issues have not considered all of this.

(I use Varilight V pro dimmers.)

I couldnt buy branded bulbs as the length for this level of lumens was too big for my enclosures. An extensive search led me to find the “5 year guaranteed” lumilife bulbs on another website. Please, please ignore their highly filtered reviews. The bulbs are of atrocious quality with c. 40% fail rate within 5 months, and the returns process unpleasant.

I was then fortunate enough to find these. Brighter, and vastly more robust. Just by their significant extra weight one can tell this. No failures yet.

I can’t compare to Phillips, Toshiba etc but for the price I wouldn’t hesitate.
