Bought these for my work pc as the built in speakers are a touch on the quiet side.

These were 12 on Prime day and worth so much more. Highly recommended

I’ll be honest, I bought these based on price and the fact they look quite good. Sound quality is good, they are a nice size, so they don’t take up a huge space on your work station. I have two laptops both operated through a Lenovo docking station and they work perfect for both.

Good not great in sound quality, but fantastic for the price. Crisp sound with no distortion even on high volume. Volume won’t blast the walls apart, but is plenty loud enough for a normal room. Perfect for gaming and listening to music although a little more bass would be nice.
Bad points. An on/off would have been nice. My USB is set to always provide power which means the speakers never switch off. As they never switch off there is a continuous blue light on underneath the speakers. Not a major issue, but a switch with a click off would have been nice, or for the speakers to enter a standby mode.
All in all a good purchase. I might just add an on off switch though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA matching pair of grey speakers with a soft blue LED glow (no idea why a speaker needs to glow).
Sound quality is adequate. I downloaded an app for Windows 10 from the App Store called FxSound. That gives more controls like spatial sound. I like that they are powered from a USB socket, but a pity they don’t get sound data that way as well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought a tower pc and monitor without speakers. Have a Sonos multi speaker set-up in the house, but found it a pain to keep bluetoothing the Roam back on when it frequently dropped out. For video editing these little Amazon Basic (Realtek Audio) Speakers are spot on. 2w per unit isn’t going to upset the neighbours. They are well made and easy to set up. Heavy for their size and metal casing. I thought they might fit into the 3.5 outputs on the back of the tower, but they are strictly headphone jack only. Saw reviews about the blue lights being distracting. They are not that bright and power off when the pc shuts down. Have no complaints at all for the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better Than Expected for 25 Quid

No plastic here made from metal and the sound is very good. My soundbar died and after a little bit of searching I decided to give these a go and no regrets/
    Great produc

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBrilliant little set of speakers for the price! I’ve used them for gaming and blasting my music while I clean and they’ve yet to fail me. I listen to a lot of metal and they can really resonate that bass. The only thing I don’t like is that the blue lights can’t be switched off without unplugging the speakers

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThese Speakers are not 5 Star “What HiFi” Audiophile speakers.

They are however a very affordable (I bought used for 11) and at the price they are brilliant at what they do.

For me they are plugged into my work computer to play the radio / some music in the back ground as I work.

For this purpose they are waaaaaay superior to the laptop speakers. I tested the vole and the do go lod enough to fill a small room, not pumping party volumes but sat at your computer they’re loud.

The sound quality is way better than you deserve at this price. Everything is present, bass mids and highs, not tinny, good stereo image.

For what they are designed for, they are more than enough. They blend into the background on the desk, that said there is a blue led which illuminates the base, and the Amazon basics logo would have been better on the back, out of sight, so it may annoy some people but again…….11! Can I really complain – no I don’t think I can.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI’m a professional musician, so I already own some high-end speakers for serious music listening and mixing/mastering. I was after a cheap pair of small speakers that didn’t use up as much power for my everyday laptop, just to boost the quality of my background music, movies and videos, etc when I’m just chilling out. These Amazon speakers are pretty much what I was going for. No, the audio quality isn’t amazing, but they definitely provide more bass and lower frequencies than my bare laptop speakers, and of course they can go much louder, too. They’re also crazy easy to use – didn’t even need the instructions. Just plug and play, no installing anything. The wires aren’t fantastically long, but unless you’re gonna be putting them quite far away from the device itself, that’s not an issue. Some people have also complained that the blue LED lights on the speakers are too bright, but I personally think they’re fine, not too distracting. Not incredible audio quality, but for the price, they’re pretty decent.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThese Amazon Basic branded PC/laptop speakers are actually pretty decent and do their intended job well, in providing a decent speaker output for “run-of-the-mill” PC use such as Zoom calls, basic YouTube use, even a bit of background music but probably lacking for those into serious gaming.
Make no mistake, these aren’t high end and your streaming audio quality certainly isn’t concert hall standard, but they deliver a good, punchy sound.
The speakers are a good weight but don’t take up a huge space. Easily connected up, they use a spare USB output for power and then simply plug into the 3.5mm audio jack; no setting up other than setting the inline volume control to max, you can then use your OS volume to adjust. Volume is good enough and providing you aren’t expecting too much, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Only two gripes, both of which already mentioned by others.
    * Crappy “Amazon Basic” branding adores the top
    * Fairly pointless blue LED in base but I don’t find this as distracting as others make out (speakers aren’t massively on display though).
All in all, decent value and work well, a good little product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery nice for the cost looks good and sounds not too bad for what they are. I was a little disapointed that the USB plug only supplies the power, you still have to plug in the jack plug for the sound to play. I was expecting them to be able to work just from the USB plug.

But other than that provisio worh the cost if you need some basic but reasonal speakers.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersNext day delivery. Nice compact speakers so no tipping over by accident. I read all the reviews carefully before ordering. Personally, taking into consideration the small price, and how little room they take, I am delighted with this purchase.
The fact that Amazon Basics is inscribed on the top of each speaker does not faze me. They are what they are and performance is of more importance than a “designer ” name, Also, the blue light others mention is rather pretty but I am sure, if it offends some, then it can be easily hidden.
The beauty of plug in usb and and be up and running immediately is stress free, the lack of need to plug into an electrical socket and have trailing wires, such a relief.
If I had any qualms, is was that I feared the sound would be “tinny ” Not so. In fact, the sound is surprisingly mellow with a good dash of bass to make it so. Also, it has a slider to control the volume which is an added bonus for the lower end price of the market.
Great little speakers, I am a happy buyer. Hats off to Amazo

My awesome JCB speaker that I could plug my phone and iPod into died a few months ago.
These were the only speakers I could find with the option to plug in. I don’t like Bluetooth at all.

They are small, very stylish and have a solid great sound. You can’t blow the roof off but decently loud.

They are I noticed after I bought them meant to be used as computer speakers, so the jack is really close to the plug.

I managed to find a way to have the speakers on my shelf and have the phone close enough to the socket to make them work with the set up I need in the kitchen.

If you need these for the computer these are absolutely amazing. If you need them for use with iPhone etc, be aware you will need to have your phone right near the socket.

Overall I’m really impressed an d especially for the price!

For the price and size I didn’t expect anything good. But I’m overwhelmed with how good they actually are. These replaced a pair of Trust 2.0 PC speakers that died on me and I just wanted a quick replacement.
So the pros, The sound quaility is very good, for 3wx2 they can handle a lot of sound and even though they don’t have any passive subwoofer capability, they handle Bass amazingly well without any pops or crackles. When I first held them, I was supprised at the weight of the speakers given how small they are. That immediately told me that the drivers are high quailty.
The cons, they don’t have headphone passthrough and the volume control is a small plasticy wheel on the main cable. The biggest issue, is they don’t have any shielding from interference. This means, like speakers from the old days, if you have mobile phone close to them you get the static interference from your mobile when it’s sending or receiving a signal.
Overall, they’re small, stylish and very capable set of PC speakers which will more than do for the everyday PC user. I’m a PC enthusiast and Builder, I didn’t expect anything decent from these when I ordered them, but I am truly amazed at how good they actually are.
I’d also like to add that, when I was looking around I noticed these exact speakers but under a unknown brand name for literally twice the price.
