Bought this as my toddler loves singing and music. It has different voice options on it which are great and funny. The speaker is sufficient to play music through via Bluetooth from a device and the colourful lights are a good edition.

Great microphone. Bluetooth connections so can play songs for you to sing along too. Fab sound and level of noise. Was great at Christmas time all singing along through the microphone. Battery lasts a good while too. Love the rose gold colour also.

I use this microphone for busking and I am very pleased with it.
It modulates my voice very nicely so I sound good using it with my karaoke App on my phone or UTube.
It has taken a few knocks but still works like new.

Got this for my 6 year old after debating it with mixed reviews! She loves it! Just wanted to put a note on here as saw some people complaining about it not being loud enough. Turn the volume up on the paired device as in the tablet or phone. We have paired it with a tablet, turned the volume up on the tablet and the microphone is very loud! Quality for what we paid is really good too.

Very good toy lots of cool features, gives hours of entertainment, however the one flaw you might find is that the mic quality is not the best. For a toy its great for a serious microphone look elsewhere.
Noisy microphone
Great fun for my 10 year old daughter, she loves it. Very loud so a bit of a pain for the parents! You do have to be very close to the microphone to make it work
It’s blue tooth so not sure how to operate as not very savvy tech wise any advice would be most helpful
Purchased this as a secret Santa gift for my brother-in-law (to irritate my sister).
Well priced and easy to use, isn’t the loudest but it wasn’t really expected from something this size.
Would recommend as a cheap gift to have some fun with.
This is essentially a microphone and Bluetooth karaoke speaker,complete with flashing lights, combined, which we bought for our 5-year-old. Despite the good reviews we were worried this would prove to be a bit of a gimmick but actually it’s been easy to set up and loads of fun whether hooking it up to Spotify to sing along to a favourite song or using it to announce the arrival of an engine when playing with our train set. Our daughter loves how with Bluetooth it transforms from microphone to speaker that she can walk around with. Just note that the Bluetooth range isn’t brilliant so if she goes into another room away from the source of music (mobile phone, smart TV, tablet etc) it loses signal, not that that’s proven a huge issue so far. There are a few effects to play around with when singing, but we’ve found the basic karaoke setting is the best. The only feature that doesn’t seem to work is the volume – we can turn music that’s playing through the mic up or down on our mobile phone, but not on the mic itself. That’s mostly ok, but not ideal when we’d like to turn down the mic – mostly when our girl has one of the voice-changing effects on. I might report this to Amazon, but we’ll see that all other features are working first as we haven’t yet tested the record function and I’m not sure we received the little card (is it a memory card?) that comes with it. In summary, if you’re toying with buying a mic with separate speaker / music player or a karaoke machine with mic, we’ve been very happy with this one as it’s compact, affordable and has decent sound quality.
Easy to use but not the best quality.
This product is good for young children and adults. It is easy to use and is clearly labelled with buttons to adjust the sound and quality of the microphone.
However, the sound quality is not that good. You can play music directly through the microphone to sing along to which is helpful, but even without music playing your voice is very quiet. Your have to speak directly into the top of the microphone to get any results and to be able to hear your voice properly. I do recommend this product, just be aware it is just for some light fun and would not be suitable for much more.
The actual microphone is great and the quality of the speaker is much better than I expected, I love the ‘four voices’ which I didn’t even realise were a part of the microphone until I bought it. I also love the ‘rec’ button which switches between the instrumental of the song you are playing and the actual song with the vocals. However, a few things to be wary of — when you turn the microphone on and off the sound it makes is so so so so loud it is very annoying (I know it’s a microphone anyway so you’re not expecting it to be quiet, but it’s just something to consider). The power button is also above all the rest of the buttons, on top of the speaker and blends in so it may be a bit difficult to find at first. After using it for a few days I am satisfied with the product quality and the long lasting battery, for the price it is very worth it!
Glancing at some of the reviews, you’d be forgiven for thinking that this is a kid’s toy… NOT SO! My twenty-something daughters were bowled over and it’s difficult now for the younger kids to get a turn! (See video)
The mic arrived well-packaged and is good looking. Ours arrived fully charged so we wasted no time trying it out. It gives you clear spoken updates as to the Bluetooth status and the various modes. It connected instantly and within seconds we were skipping through song after song.
The sound quality is really good, and it’s easy to balance the volume of your voice with the volume of the music player. Some reviewers have said it’s not loud enough – I wouldn’t like to hear what those people think of as ‘loud’, because this mic plays at an incredible volume before you get any hint of distortion. Our neighbours six houses away asked us what we were doing – and then had a go!
The voice effects and reverb are fun additions, as are the options to record or sing along to FM radio. It didn’t take long to discover all of these options (you don’t really need the instructions at all) along with using the mic buttons to step back forth through your playlist.
A voucher for your next purchase is included, and we have already ordered another Ankuka mic, the next one in the range. I don’t think we will stop there either – for the price, I’m sure this household will end up with one each! Great fun and highly recommended!
