Really strong
I love how this product actually works and holds your phone in place. I previously had one and repurchased a second one for our other vehicle as I was so happy.
Highly recommend
Solid magnetic arm
This is a well constructed magnetic arm mobile phone holder. It comes with decent accessories to enable a strong firm placement on any surface. The extendable arm means the phone sits much closer to the driver to minimise over reaching and improve clear vusion. The large six magnet oblong is strong and can be tightened into the correct comfortable position. I’m so pleased with it I bought it twice for both my cars. Happy to recommend.
The Best!!
Great suction on the windscreen, it has a gel like substance on the sucker which gives a super firm hold. The holder is adjustable and the magnetic holder is very strong. I’ve had several very good different phone holders, but this one is the best one I’ve ever had. Don’t hesitate in buying this, it’s worth every penny
Best ye
Not only does it never slip or move on the screen, in any weather (heat), the magnet is excellent, the telescopic arm is a good addition and when fully extended, is still very sturdy.
I’ve got through loads over the years, at last this is a keeper.
Good
I purchased one a while back and the black pad did not stick to the plastic interior of my car. However, the clear suction cup did – a little diappointed though (as the black pad did not stick). Needed another one for another car. The new one that I got had instructions on how to install the black pad (which was not present on the first one that I purchased). Followed the instructions and the black pad is secured. Sturdy piece of kit. Happy with them!
Great after 3 months so fa
I multi -drop using a Black view phone which ways approx 600g and it is very sturdy.
The adhesion to window has been perfect even on unadopted roads in a transit van.
Easy to set up and adjust and magnets are very good.
Definitely worth purchasing.
Super sturdy phone holder👍
This car phone holder is really good value for money. Assembly is simple and it sticks to windscreen with ease. Magnets strong aswel, although it wont work with all phone cases. I got a s20 ultra and it didnt even need magnetic plates to attach it self to the holder (this was without case). So overall definitely recommend.
Great Hold
Very good mount
Has some sort of gel on the suction pad but can be removed from window with some force as it’s sticky but doesn’t leave residue
Magnetic hold is strong n phone does not move
The extendable stand also very well made and easy to adjus
Strong and stable
Was worried about buying this phone mount for the car , but very happy with the performance of this mount , easy to assemble and very strong magnets hold the phone in place .
Very strong magne
Easy to set up, but instructions could have been a bit clearer. I didn’t realise there were little sheets to make it easier to remove metal plate from phone case. Consequently, mine is stuck on foreve
Very useful
The holder is really useful as I have a fabric dashboard. However, the adhesive magnet which places on the phone is too strong as it comes off if the phone is not gently removed from the holder.
Great Produc
Great Product, really pleased with this phone mount, instructions supplied for installation how to mount to dashboard. Really sturdy with a very good magnet to hold the phone in place.
Great but ..catapulting phone issue
Mounts fine, and everything seems in order but not sure about how super strong the magnet is or maybe I need further driving lessons but when making any sharp sudden turns my phone tends to come off the holder and fly across the car, meaning I then have to spend approx 3 mins pulling over, locating my phone (all whilst praying it’s still in one piece) and popping it back on the holder. Just thankful when the phone is catapulting across my car that no one is sat in the passenger seat. Small miracles;)
Great produc
Stop your search for dash mounts, as this is the best option!
It was easy to install, and highly adjustable for any position so you could keep your phone at a comfortable distant and viewing angle.
I’ve been using this mount for almost 5 months now and the adhesive is still strong, it has not once fallen over or come off in my time of using this and I use it daily.
The magnets are also really strong and can support a heavy phone, I use it for my Iphone 12 Pro Max which isn’t a light phone and it has not once fallen off the magnet, nor has the phone slowly tilted down from the weight while driving, (which i found was the case with other mounts ive used.) I also find it easier and convenient just to snap the phone onto the magnet holder and not need to worry about it coming off, and just pulling the phone off easily, rather than pressing a button to release like other conventional holders.
the product comes with a base plate to install the mount onto if you so wish to use it, (i’ve not) and comes with plenty of magnets which can be shared among family and friends if the vehicle is shared.
I highly recommend this product!
This is a game changer!
Quite possibly the best mount I’ve owned. I’ve had really expensive Scoche ones, and really cheap poundland ones …. this is super sticky, hasn’t fell once, I use this thing daily and attach/detach my phone from it like 100 times per day (delivery driver). This is a fantastic buy!
Probably one of the best on the market.
A huge improvement over the type that grabs your phone
I have never had a phone mount before and I am impressed with this one.
I first ordered a different type. This had the traditional sort of arms that grab your phone. As we have just got a new car I didn’t want to stick anything to the dashboard so found a model that used the slats on the aircon vents. It had a hook which went round the back of the slat and you tightened it down using that. All the models claimed their hook was made of metal unlike the plastic used by everyone else. I could see this meant it would be stronger but did not think at the time there is a bit of a mismatch of materials – a strong metal hook onto a plastic moveable slat. When it arrived and I tried to mount it I realised immediately that over time there would be scratching where the front of the mount touched the slat. Then I saw a question when someone asked what happens when you put the heating on in the winter and someone replied “your phone gets very hot” That was enough for me and back it went.!
I then decided the only bomb proof way of mounting your phone without leaving any marks is suction onto glass. Whilst looking for this type I came across this idea of magnetic mounting. Looking back I am so pleased I did not like the metal hook as this new (to me) system of holding the phone is a massive improvement over the old clam shell type grips. Not only is it so quick & easy to attach your phone but the actual footprint of the device is no larger than your phone which is good especially if you are mounting it onto the windscreen.
I also have an aversion to sticking stuff to things so I was pleased to find that all I needed to do was to put one of the enclosed metal plates between my phone and the cheapo plastic bumper case. It does tend to move around a bit but seems to work fine. If there are issues I might just use a little bit of the sticky pad to stop it moving.
So, IMO this is a real example of that much overused phrase The ‘next generation’ phone mount.
PS they have probably been around for years !!
Bought two of these as have two cars on the drive, mine and mine. I’ve had similar types before when we all had Sat Navs on the window or dash so know they do work very well. Now having said that I have found that some windscreens that appear to be totally flat aren’t ! If you are attaching to the screen and you find these fall off my experience is that that glass isn’t as flat as you think it is ! Move the item to a slightly different local and you will be amazed that what you thought was dead flat wasn’t and away you go. One word of caution would have to be, if you are intending to stick these to the dash they will, over time, leave a ring that is almost impossible to polish out ! Remember those awful silicone mats ! Sticky as hell but boy did they do some cosmetic damage. Not had any issues at all since fixing to a totally flat windscreen so very happy with my purchases.
7 month review - pretty good, not perfec
[update Jan 2024]
Magnetic disc fell off phone case after a few months. Removed adhesive and restuck using no-nonsense double sided tape from Screwfix. Worked for a few months more. Can keep doing this but replacement discs are also available quite cheaply.
Have moved to my wife’s car a few times and adhesive disc on the holder itself still sticks well to windscreen. In fact it was stuck a bit too well the two times. I needed to use a plastic card (Nectar or similar) to get an edge lifted.
All in all, still very good and rest of review below holds true.
———–
I’ve had this installed for 7 months and overall have found it to be pretty good. It doesn’t look as good as in the pictures when you get it (more plasticky). But it’s not too bad.
More importantly, it’s stayed stuck without coming off once. We’ve not had high heat yet which can sometimes kill the adhesive discs used in these, so I’ll update later this year if any issues. I also swapped it to another car yesterday and it peeled off ok.
It is relatively easy to adjust with one knob used to adjust the angle. The in/out reach of the arm has no locking mechanism, but they have judged the resistance well so it’s easy to adjust, but also stays put.
In my case (bottom right of windscreen in a Golf just above the dash), I could have used a fraction more extension. This would have allowed the suction piece to be tucked in the corner of the screen but with phone still in reach. But it will depend on your car and driving position.
A longer arm would also risk more rattles. That’s about the only criticism I have. The arm has quite a bit of free play in it so can wobble and rattle.
In my case this is not bad enough to ever be annoying, but I have positioned it so that the bottom edge of my phone rests on the dashboard to stop movement. I don’t think the arm is sturdy enough to hold a phone well enough (at least for me) so that it will be easy to see (i.e. not shaking) and not rattle.
The sticky magnetic pad seems good. I’ve stuck it on the outside of a clear silicon case on my phone and it sticks very well. I cleaned the case with alcohol before sticking.
