This light is easy to fit and provides an adequate illumination in front of my garage. The motion detector works well and switches off quickly if there is no movement for a few seconds – so saves the batteries.

I needed a PIR light inside my open porch so that I could see the front door keyholes. This was easy to put up on the wall (I only used one screw to fix it). I can angle the direction of the beam to just the right position. It is still working 2 months later despite the recent stormy weather, wind and rain. I am able to reach up and change the batteries when needed.

These excellent little lights are so practical and useful. Nice and bright illumination.
They combine all the excellent attributes of a mains operated system without the need of a power supply.
Ideal for a garage or shed where no mains power is available. Fully adjustable and can be easily fitted in minutes. Battery operated so I would recommend using rechargeable AA batteries.

I bought this security light for our son who’s front doorway is quite dark. There are very few street light on his street which doesn’t help. The light itself is very well finished and quite bright which can be angled in any direction, the PIR motion detector is very responsive and switches the light on immediately. A 3M sticky pad and screws are supplied, although screw fixing is to be preferred for security. To this end a drilling template should be supplied to enable accurate drilling and fixing, apart from this niggle I would recommend this product which also looks like it could a camara for added security.

I have a solar powered light for back steps but it doesn’t get enough sun in winter . So have a few battery powered, with minimal success. But this on does the job. Great little light. Eliminate’s the steps brilliantly. You can remove light ball and use axe a touch if you wanteyto go down garden. If found the easy away to in stall was to drill through plastic and screw in permanently.

I bought this so I could see to unlock my door. I wanted something unobtrusive so as not to annoy my elderly neighbours. It fits nicely und my bungalow eaves. Plenty bright enough. Works perfectly, Great value.

This is perfect for enterance doorway or even in cupboard or something, very easy to use, works with 3 aa batteries(not supplied), can be mounted with adhesive sticker, but would recommend using supplied screws, bottom can be removed for easy mounting with screws and then pop on bracket, light just inserts into bracket and can be moved around to desired spot, take off easily to put in new batteries when required, motion sensor is good about 2 metres, light is pretty bright, good value at current price, can recommend.

I am a total geek when it comes to home automation, so my first thought to light up a dark pantry closet was to use a LED smart bulb, or a powered lamp and smart plug, coupled with a motion sensor, light sensor and door contact sensor. However that is prohibitively expensive for a closet used once or twice a day and I would need to run power into the closet for either.

Then I remembered the outdoor solar powered LED security lights I had installed at my last home and thought there must be a simpler, cheaper solution. This battery powered LED light has integrated motion and light sensors, costs far less, and is much simpler to install than running power and writing custom automations.

The light turns on when entering the dark closet and off 20 seconds after leaving. Installation was as simple as drilling 3 tiny holes to mount it on the wall (or use the included double sided adhesive). The light is bright enough and the batteries are lasting well as we typically only use the closet once or twice a day.

I like that the light can easily be positioned and that it is removable if I needed it in the deeper corners of the closet.

I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it or purchase again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple low cost low tech solutio

This suits our porch requirements perfectly. We have an existing light that we swich on from inside. However, we needed this light to enable us to unlock the door when we approach when all is darkness. The price was just right as it didn’t necessitate changing the existing light with a PIR sensor.
Looks good so far, it triggers easily when the outward doors open inwards. The sensor is facing the door, so was wondering that it would be triggered by the inside door, but that doesn’t occur. The battery issues will need further observation as to whether we replace the existing ones with re-chargeables. Fitted in no time and looks aesthetically pleasing as it is mounted on a UPVC ceiling. Time will tell if the colour fades, but is in a shady corner so that should be OK. Very prompt delivery. Thumbs up!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe light came very promptly and was fairly easy to install. I first used the supplied double sided adhesive pad on a brick wall but the lamp soon fell off so I resorted to plain old fashioned drilling and rawlplugs. It’s a very bright light and works perfectly as regards lighting conditions and detecting movement. It’s far brighter than those little stick-on lights about 100mm square. The only thing I criticise is that the switch action is very poor and, in fact, the light turned itself off one time without being touched. That’s the only reason why I’d give it four stars rather than five.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLovely bright LED motion sensor ball light. Have it in my porch to light up the key lock when it’s dark. Detects movement quite a king way off. Had it in the kitchen for a while until I could get a diy man to put it outside in the porch, and it was lovely and bright upon entering. Stays on king enough to just go in to get whatever you need. Very quick to react to moveme

I’m very happy with this light. It’s small, light, easy to fit, with either screws or double sided tape and emits a nice white light. It takes AA batteries and they last much longer than I expected, although obviously this would depend on how often the light is activated. A good buy.

Bought two of these to light outdoor area when opening gate. Attracted by the fact they are battery operated with no need for wiring. Easy to install and direct the lighting where it is needed. Have proved to be excellent and as they switch off after some twenty seconds the batteries are lasting well.

I have bought two of these lights. They are easy to install, very bright and the motion detection and length of time the light stays on is just right. The batteries last a long time with normal usage. In my opinion and experience, these are great lights.

These lights are fantastic, so much so after i received the first one i bought another! Really easy to set up and install, the motion detection is great, and great for the winter nights above the front door so you’re not faffing about trying to get your key in the door! The sticky fixers are great too, i have one light in my outdoor garage and one above the front door, both attached with the supplied sticky fixers and both still secure after a damp and dreary winter.

We needed a small, battery powered light with motion sensor to go above the front door, for when coming home in the dark and needing some illumination to unlock and get in. This is perfect – not too bright as we didn’t want a security light, but inconspicuous and ideal for temporary illumination while unlocking, or opening the door to visitors. The light can be easily adjusted directionally and removed from the socket for changing batteries etc. Good value for money.

I got 3 of these as we just moved and have no outside lights. Stuck two on windowsills and they work great and have stayed put without nails. The motion sensor works well and they only come in at night. Really useful to be able to angle them to where you want.

Tried to stick the 3rd to a plastered wall but it didn’t last long so will need to nail that one but very happy with this product, it was just what I wanted and needed.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersDoes the job, looks nice and is decent quality. Very good brightness and price too. Bonus that the light comes off without the base, whether to change batteries or for portability. Motion detection is good, comes on when I’m directly under it and lasts about 20 seconds, doesn’t come on during the day. Only negative is that the (tiny) screws and the sticky pad it comes with doesn’t do a great job holding the base to the wall. I attached mine with some “no more nails” glue and haven’t had a problem since.

5.0 out of 5 stars Handy little light!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAll we wanted was a light that didn’t need mains power, and that would go above our front door and come on to light a little of our path and doorway, alert us to visitors, or make it easy for us to find our keys when coming home. We’re heading into our second winter of using the light and it’s been great. It’s not a searchlight (!) but it’s plenty bright enough for our needs. We haven’t had to change the batteries yet either.

Absolutely delighted with this item. Purchased this motion sensor light for above my front door to allow me to find the keyhole on dark evenings. Arrived quickly and was exceptionally easy to install using the 3 screws (dont think i would trust the sticky pad enclosed in packet to hold item in place). Light is bright without blinding you or lighting up the whole street. Motion is detected around the 2 mtr mark and stays on for 30 seconds. Very good price.

I bought this over a year ago. I use it to light up my garage door lock at night. The light itself is outside but under cover so it is not exposed to the weather. It is easy to install, easy to angle and the light is good enough for what I need. I use 3 rechargeable AA batteries. It is well designed and built. I am surprised it has lasted so long to be honest, because these things can be a bit hit and miss.

Very easy to install, and the motion detection is flawless.
The light is very bright (perfect when going in the yard to throw out the bin).
I would not use it as a decorative light, i.e. to light the backyard when dining with friends, as the light is very white/cold.

Puchased this to light up my garage as the current fixed light is out of action due to water-leakage. This was mainly to save me having to manage a torch whilst grabbing stuff from the freezer when it was dark but so far this has exceeded my expectations. It lights up the whole garage nicely (obviously not as much as a fixed light) and only comes on when I come into the garage I have it near the back of the garage but it spots me opening the garage door at the front and is on by the time I have the door open. Best of all (and the main reason I picked this one, based on people confirming it in the reviews) it stays on whilst there is movement and turns off nice and quickly (maybe 10-15seconds?) after movement has stopped (well, out of range of the sensor), so no having to wave your arms after a forced auto-off after 20seconds, like some of the other PIR lights seemed to have.

It takes three AA batteries and no idea yet how long those will last but since I am only needing it for very short periods at a time it is working really well. I also like the feature of being able to easily pull the light from the holder to use as a torch. The one thing to note is that it was a bit bigger than I expected. Not massive but not a dainty little light either. Also don;t be daft like me: notice for mounting with screws that you can remove the flat back plate from the holder: just give it a push out the back of the holder and you can then use it to line up your screw holes (and you do have to be pretty accurate), then just push the holder back on to the back plate once fitted. So far I am very pleased with this.
