I bought this as my scalp was so sensitive and flaky all the time it was driving me insane as I have dark brown hair and felt you could see it! I’ve used this ONLY 3 times and it’s almost completely gone, I honestly cant believe it. I wish I had taken pics but if you’re reading this and have the same issue then please give this a try it’s amazing!
Tried many products in the past for my dry scalp but this is definitely the best. Scalp and hair feel lovely and clean after using, lovely scent and doesn’t make my hair greasy. I will definitely be using this from now on.

I have tried many medicines wise shampoos, alpacin or neurogenic one. So far this is the best solution for my itchy scalp. No scent or side effects.

I also have sensitive skin, and I use it on my bleached, fine and dry hair too- it’s wonderful. No residues, no weird smells, hair is properly cleaned and absolutely no irritation.
My mum tried the shampoo whilst on holiday here and I just bought a 3-pack to send to her as she loved it as well. She gets dandruff and oily scalp, but this has helped her so much with keeping dandruff away and oils at bay.
My partner has a very sensitive scalp. Over the years we have used many different products for dandruff, sensitive scalps etc. We still haven’t found the perfect product but this has been better than the others. There is less dandruff and sore spots, but it hasn’t completely resolved it. It may work nicely on the scalp but I find that the hair comes out a little dry compared to other moisturising shampoos.
We will keep using for now until a better product comes along.
I was using Lush shampoo bar for 2-3 years and I noticed that my scalp became so itchy and sensitive that I needed to act or I could say goodbye to calmly sleeping at night ( yea, I was itching even in my sleep and I ended up with bloody scalp ). I initially bought As I Am shampooit did work, but it was quite expensive and it did not leather, so I decided too look for something that will tick all things on my list and then I found this Aveno shampoo!!! It is just amazing!!! No itching, great price and it leathers TRY IT!!!
I was looking for something that would help with itchiness and dandruff and I have seen quite descent results. My scalp goes through crises due to stress and I still get itchy episodes. It has helped me prolonging my wash days from every other day to every 2 to 3 days, which is nice because if my scalp is wet too often, it triggers my itchiness, and honestly it’s not too great blow-drying my hair every 2 days. I have my hair coloured every four weeks and find that my scalp gets horribly tight and itchy which ordinary shampoos don’t seem to ease. I am impressed with this shampoo as it really worked on my itchy scalp. The shine on my hair was complimented by my hairdresser, and, as she has the same issue she went out and bought one to try. I needed to wash my hair after three days as my long hair went a little limp. All in all I would recommend it and will be reordering soon.
It’s a thorough, deep, squeaky cleaning shampoo and it DID stop my scalp from itching. Good result achieved. I did, however, get the shampoo into my eyes. My fault and my fault alone. The pain was unimaginable. I bathed my eyes in clear, warm water for about five minutes and managed to get rid of the burning sensation. My eyes are still red and sore (four days later) and have been filled with a thick mucous. I am now on the mend. I didn’t visit hospital because of COVID. The shampoo is good but I’m issuing you with a health warning. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

I have discovered that DOVE BABY SHAMPOO is kind to my hair and scalp – no itching * /* .
I have actually noticed I have been having less hair loss than usual when washing and brushing my hair, which is fantastic. It’s definitely worth a try if you are suffering from an itchy or irritated scalp. And the mild scent is a bonus compared to some other medicated shampoos
This has not let me down after several months of use. Although I still experience some itching, it’s a LOT less! I was constantly scratching my sore scalp, which resulted in inflammation and big, horrid flakes of dandruff. I felt embarrassed by the continual “snow” that settled on my shoulders etc after a bloody good scratch. I was using harsh, medicated shampoos to get rid of the dandruff and help with the constant irritation. Yes they worked but my hair was not looking great and I wanted something far more gentle and effective.
I admit, I was sceptical that this would help where so many others, with similar promises, had failed.
However, I was delighted when, after the very first use, my itchiness was alleviated and the “snow” lessened.
Ok, it hasn’t cleared my seborrheic dermatitis, nor has my dandruff disappeared but I definitely scratch so much less, my scalp isn’t inflamed and sore anymore and the big, horrid flakes of dandruff have turned into minuscule, barely there dots – and far, far fewer too!
I’ve finally found a shampoo that helps, is gentle and gives me beautiful, soft, shiny hair
