Spent an hour scratching my head with the inbox instructions that were so tiny I couldn’t work out which part was what! I was going crazy. So over complicated!! Then discovered you could download the “onbox” app and enter a 4 digit code from the instruction page- complete game changer!!! Wish I had known about this first! It was so much easier and video illustrations made it very clear!
Once installed it fits perfectly and does the job of keeping my dog from the lounge when we go out.
gate a little fiddly and stiff but once mastered it is easy to do. Probably not so easy for children if that’s the gate purpose then it will do the job!
Again perfect gate to stop my nephew from going to the kitchen.
It’s was easy to assemble and it’s perfect to stop my 1 year old nephew from going into the kitchen where he can have access to the electric appliances such as cooker washing machine and more

This is exactly what I was looking for, I needed a wider baby gate for the hallway due to living in an upstairs flat, this fits perfectly without the added cost of buying an extender for the usual baby gates, highly recommended
B and q bbq grills fit pretty well with some cable ties. Our puppy with a small head can no longer get his head through the bars.

Great fi
Bought this to put across patio door and is perfect!
Easy to install (skip using the plastic of you’ve got wide staircase) and go straight to the metal fittings..very sturdy on the rounded part of our banister. The noise that you can hear in the video is just from the bottom of the gate where there is a slight movement allowed when closed. Does not budge. Gave us peace of mind knowing our little one cannot get up or down the stairs.

Excellent product. Had difficulty putting it up as Instructions don’t state a piece needs to be removed and re used for extension. Once I downloaded the app on the leaflet it was up in 5 mins
Good for larger area
We needed a wider stair gate to separate downstairs opening separating our lounge area from kitchen/diner due to getting a puppy. This has worked perfectly!
Hidden pieces! Check the app
We originally ordered a replacement as we followed the paper instructions and pieces seemed to be missing, come to find if you download the app on the box the instructions are not only so so much easier to follow but the pieces were actually hidden inside the gate. They should advertise this on paper instructions. Download app!! Took us half an hour rather than the previous hour and half the first one took without app. Good product, sturdy and fits well.

Just completed a renovation and knocked through to kitchen area so had a wide gap to fill.
The gate is absolutely ideal to keep our toddler in the day room.
Instructions difficult to follow but once got your head round it was straight forward.
Good quality and value for money. Would highly recommend.

Not sure why the complaints. Great product. Instructions are very clear when using the onbox app. More products should use this method. Clear video steps for building. It’s sturdy and very built. Very happy..
Excellent room divide
This baby Dan room divider is perfect for our needs. We wanted it as a room divider and it’s done the job wonderfully. Easy to put up and remove without drilling holes in the wall.
Was slightly sceptical due to poor reviews… however the product came with all parts and as much as I agree the instructions are horrific – download the app Onbox and the code is on the instructions that comes with the product. In comparison it could not be any easier to understand and I managed to put it up whilst my little one napped.
I’ve now got peace of mind my daughter won’t attempt the stairs whilst I’m not looking. Happy days!
Well made and sturdy
Like other reviewers, I found the supplied instructions lacking. The online instructions however, accessible via the Onbox app were excellent and I had this assembled and in place in about 10 minutes.
We purchased this to separate our lounge from our kitchen / dining area whilst puppy training and the gate is well made and robust.
Extra Wide gate with no drilling!!
Looking for an extra wide pressure gate for the hallway. Needed an extra wide gate for my home without having to drills holes into the walls!! This gate did the job. There were a few gate widths to choose from and this one works perfectly for my home. I have had BabyDan gates previously so knew the quality would be high and I wasn’t disappointed. Thanks!!
Update: when you first open the pack, the locking mechanism doesn’t connect to each other, seems like it’s faulty, see pic. But it is actually as design. It will touch and work after installation, the pressure against the walls will push the parts together. We have a 120cm gap so we bought 2x extension pack (each comes with 2 vertical rods but only enough horizontal rods to install on one side of the gate, therefore we needed 2, to extend three times each side). I have included pic of the extension instruction from the pack so you guys can know how many you need!
Fit-for-purpose safety gate
Bought one of these to supplement the same model that we’d had as hand-me-downs and were already using effectively – the reason we bought another. For us this is a child stair-gate.
Simple to use, with pressure tightening screw fixes make these quick to install. They get a little more complicated if you need to extend, which is down to the width of the stairwell/door you want to gate. Unfortunately this is an extra purchase, so check the width you need (off the top of my head this gate works up ~76cm, and greater than that you need the extension kit).
Gate is robust, and easy to use opening catch is child-proof and manageable with 1-hand and feels like a quality build.
For the price this is everything you need from a child stair gate (you pay more, you’ll get fancier designs, but this is fit for purpose).
Good Quality, Simple to Fit - would recommend.
Ordered this product after looking around at a number of stair gates. I like this gate in particular because it seemed very easy to use, the pressure fit is very important as I needed to put at the top of my stairs and didn’t want to be drilling into my bannister.
The Items arrived and was just as expected, very very easy to fit together with clear instructions. I also needed to order the extension kit as in all new build houses the size of the door ways is 83cm, but as with the stair gate this was really clear on how to put together.
I am so please that I will be ordering a second one of these to keep our son out of the cat litter tray!
I would defiantly recommend this item, good quality build, easy to fit and also visually looks great (better than those white plastic ones!).
purchased this product to prevent the dog from going upstairs and, as the banister has spindles and it doesn’t actually include the final step which is curved, it wasn’t suitable for a standard safety gate with screwed fixings. the only advice I would pass on is – if you don’t have a perfectly straight stairway and intend to use this on a stair tread rather than at the foot of the stairway – take time to actually measure the width from wall to wall as you may need an extender piece. suits my needs (dog no longer interested in going upstairs), great value for money and fast delivery; the only negative comments would be that I am not sure this gate would be as secure as a screw mounted version in ensuring the safety of small children – it will move if weight is thrown against it. Plus – the matt black finish is a bit dark and dreary. the negative comments are mainly for parents – as a pet restricter it’s great! ;D
A bit undecided on this as it is pros and cons.
Pros
+ True pressure fit so no need for any drills or screws. We also bought a Lindam version thinking it was similar but that one needed drilling which we didn’t want.
+ Solid feel and baby shouldn’t be able to move it.
+ Straightforward instructions.
+ Smaller size than some other gates so fitted our door frames
Cons
– The handle is awkward to use. You need to pinch and yank up the handle with some force to open up. I appreciate that this is a very safe design but it is a pain to use. The Lindam I talked about above has a much better handle that is truly one hand opening.
Good product but not grea
I purchased this gate for my one year old grandson. I would agree with most of the positive comments made by previous reviews what i didn’t see in any of the reviews i read was that the safety latch on the gate is very fiddly if not awkward to open. I struggle to open it one handed which i thought is how it should work if carrying toddler in the other arm!
Now i’m not sure if i am being a little hasty in what i say and may be with a bit of use and take away the newness and stiffness of the product it might be come easier to open one handed.
Otherwise a good buy and certainly very easy to fit and robust.
