Bought this for my father for his birthday and because my mother refused to be seen in public with him with his tattered old one. This wallet is well made, sleek and so nice to the touch. The leather is so soft. Our eyes got bigger and bigger as we transferred the contents from the old wallet to this new one. It ended up being almost half the thickness of the old one. Bills, coins, cards and small photos all fit well, without crushing, cramming or excessive folding. Thank you Bellroy for crafting such a beautiful and practical wallet. Amazing!!
I had a very bulky wallet but this case swallowed it all and is a much sleeker profile. Love it!
The Bellroy Hide and Seek is a considerably slimmer wallet than my previous, but I owe this in part to the larger lateral size of the wallet. The cards are not stacked as tightly due to the shape of the wallet. This makes it unsuitable for people who have narrower pockets.
The only nuisance is that the card slots are cut just slightly larger than the size of a standard card and require careful attention to slide in compared to a regular wallet. It looks nice that way, but bothers me as I fuss with it at the till. Similarly, if you own a metal card, as offered by American Express, Apple, or some others including the European N26 you will find your card does not fit comfortably due to it’s much larger size.

Bottom Line: Slimmer but at the cost of ease of use. I do not recommend this product if you make regular purchases with card, or if you use multiple cards in the course of a day. I do recommend this product if you only have 5 or so cards.
After getting rid of my “Hamburger” wallet as my son called it, I was pleased with the simplicity of this wallet. I like the RF protection but I have to assume it works. The second flap for hiding monies, etc is being used for extra credit cards on one side and photo’s on the other half. Like the knocked off corners of the front slots for the first credit cards, makes it easy for these popular credit cards to pop them in & out. The small bird on the outside adds a nice touch of class and style.
This was a gift for my husband who replaced a bulky full wallet. He was concerned that it would not be large enough to fit 20 bills or his numerous bank and store cards as was his experience with some other brands. Thankfully, this wallet is like a tardis. It contains everything from his old wallet and compressed this bulk to less than half the previous depth. I am Very impressed and he is delighted.
Quality seems solid and stitching seems well done. It’s design is pretty handy for allowing you to carry several cards without anywhere near the bulk many other wallets would. It’s a good compromise between capacity and minimal size.
Is it worth the price? IMHO yes assuming it lasts a while. All indications are it will.
Habe den Geldbeutel nun schon seit Lngerem in Gebrauch. Wrde ihn nicht mehr tauschen wollen. Es dauert zwar etwas, bis man sich daran gewhnt hat, keinen Platz fr Kleingeld zu haben, wenn man sich aber umgestellt hat, ist der Vorteil eines sehr dnnen Geldbeutels aber enorm.

Update to the Update: This wallet is back to being amazing! Once the leather is broken it, it is much easier to use as a wallet! It’s much softer, flexible and works great! The stiffness it originally showed is a highlight to the quality of the product. Now that it’s broken in, it’s even slimmer in my pocket. I love this wallet!
Update: I’m leaving the original review here, but I wanted to update my review. The wallet is beautiful and slim, but it’s simply just a PITA to carry cash in. Because it is so slim it is hard to fit any more than a couple bills into it — which seems like a necessary component for a wallet. With that said, if you only plan on carrying credit cards (more or less), then I’d recommend the even slimmer wallet by Belroy, the Slim Sleeve. The slim wallet is a great idea, but not being able to easily add or remove cash is a real downside to this wallet. So forget all pretense about carrying much cash and just directly to the slimmest size available. Im hoping with time and some usage that this wallet becomes a little more user friendly.
Just got the wallet today and I’m in love with it. It’s a beautiful wallet, feels sturdy and absolutely has cut the bulk out of my wallet by about 40%. Some people are complaining about the hidden part being too hard to open, but I think that is a nice feature so that I think before spending my larger bills. The hidden coin purse could hold an additional credit card if you’d like — mine holds the card I need to swipe into my building. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go to any other wallet!

Sceptical about paying this kind of money for a wallet, but it really does present a much slimmer profile than my last fossil one, despite holding the same amount. Very good wallet.
I’ve had this wallet for over a year now and I’m very very very happy with it. I made the mistake of putting my phone with a broken glass screen protector in the same pocket and scratched the leather a bit in the first week of owning it. Initially I was rather annoyed but now it doesn’t really show up that much anymore.
Anyway, back to the wallet itself. I love the secret compartment. It’s great for storing some emergency money. I’ve made a habit of never dipping into it unless absolutely necessary and alway keeping it stocked up. That feature will one day get me out of a sticky situation, I’m sure of it!
I’m a man with many cards. Too many if I’m honest but they all seem to magically fit into this wallet. My previous wallet was about three times the size and a right pain to carry around.
I also ordered the “Bellroy Leather Slim Sleeve Wallet Black – $99.99” to compare sizing, etc – but this one is better so I returned that one. And the metal Bellroy owl logo is a really nice added touch that none of the other models have. I also purchased the “Bellroy Leather Micro Sleeve Wallet Black – $79.95” for the possibility of using it as a front pocket or inner jacket pocket card holder, for 1-3 cards maximum. It held the cards nicely, but I wouldn’t recommend that product for cash. Thankfully I’ve converted to a nearly cashless life, LOL, and only use plastic. Anyways, I ended up returning the Micro Sleeve Wallet too, as this Hide & Seek wallet was far better, in terms of function, for what I needed it for.
Davvero un bel prodotto, pensato per essere il pi piatto possibile, fa egregiamente il suo dovere. La pelle utilizzata non il top ma comunque buona, mentre la seconda tasca nascosta comoda e ma avrebbe potuto avere la linguetta di chiusura progettata un po’ meglio.
Ottima anche la taschina per le monete, fondamentale per non doversi portare dietro un portamonete.
Takes all my cards, driving licence plus cash with 2nd cash section helps when travelling abroad to keep currency separate (hidden) but only half the thickness of my old wallet. My old wallet also had a popper which damaged cards. Not cheap but worth every penny.
Good quality, good for bank notes. Too little room and difficult access to coins. Coins you cannot handle at cashier.
If you just use bank notes and cards, it will be perfect.

Mi sono trovato costretto a dover sostituire il mio vecchio e adorato portafoglio in quanto le carte di credito dopo qualche anno di permanenza nein loro scompartimenti, pereemente nella tasca posteriore dei pantaloni, mi si pregavano e successivamente rompevano. organizzato molto bene, le carte non si piegano per niente. La CI purtroppo ci sta male ma fa niente, la patente basta…

A due anni di distanza sono ancora soddisfatto dell’acquisto. il portafogli si presenta ancora molto bene, con la pelle un po’ consumata sui bordi dopo due anni di utilizzo intenso. La carta d’identit ho rinunciato a tenercela dentro, mi basta la patente. Nessuna cucitura mai saltata e la tela interna ancora perfettamente integra. Ci tengo dentro 13 tessere di plastica pi qualche biglietto da visita.
La cartera cumple con lo que promete. Es muy buena, el nico problema es que en pocos meses parece mucho ms vieja de lo que en realidad es. Tengo un conocido que tiene una de viaje y la suya est peor por ser marrn clarita. La ma al ser negra no queda tan desgastada.
Por lo dems… un 10. Me encanta. Me gustara ver el modelo americano, ya que creo que parte de mi problema de desgaste es porque la cartera est pensada para el billete americano, y al meter un centmetro ms hace que salgan ciertas arrugas extra.
Non so se avete capito: stesso contenuto, spessore identico ad un portafoglio VUOTO! E’ il sogno erotico di ogni uomo.

Unica pecca: siccome siamo in italia (e siamo delle capre), molti comuni utilizzano ancora i vecchi documenti cartacei. Ho risolto mettendo la vecchia carta d’identit nella tasca segreta del portafoglio: leggermente pi lunga ma il portafoglio si chiude comunque bene. Anzi, per chi vuole guardare il lato positivo, avendo la carta d’identit leggermente pi lunga, piegandosi, il portafoglio acquistera un simpatico effetto “apertura assistita”, almeno, per i primi periodi.
Prezzo un po’ alto ma ne vale totalmente la pena. CONSIGLIO A PIENO
This is the best wallet I’ve ever had for carrying a decent amount of stuff around.
I travel quite a bit and having the two separate compartments makes it easy for me to keep 2 currencies on me…and/or to keep receipts/business cards separate from my cash. I’ll use the business card holder for travel cards (bus, tube, train, etc.) that protects them well.
I used to use a money clip wallet, but I couldn’t keep all the cards I needed occasionally with me and I was forever forgetting them at home. This wallet is a nice size and saves space while still carying about 10 cards (debit/credit, licences, & membership cards).
Fits well in my front pocket without taking up too much space.
E’ un portafoglio che dal punto di vista estetico davvero bellissimo, all’interno ci va davvero di tutto nonostante non sembra molto grande (in realt non lo affatto). Ci ho messo ben 5 carte di credito/bancomat e 7 carte di fidelizzazioni, cf, patente. La Carta di identit non entra, ma entra solo in alcuni portafogli come quelli abnorme che non puoi portarti dietro fra poco e quindi si piega un po’, non un problema, spero che per quando scada mi arrivi quella elettronica a casa.
Ottimo lo scomparto “hide”, io ci metto le banconote “grosse” e dietro ci metto la cdc che uso pochissimo. Tra l’altro nello scomparto che c’ davanti a quello delle banconote c’entra anche qualche moneta di resto (io non tengo pi di 4 monete) ma meglio non gonfiarlo troppo poi.

Detto ci, il prodotto di per se molto bello e molto elegante, i materiali sono di ottima fattura, cuciture ottime, lo stesso vale per la parte interna.
Il concetto rendere il portafogli sottile, bene, Bellroy ci riesce senza problemi.
Al momento attuale nel mio sono presenti: Carta d’Identit vecchio formato, 8 tessere, biglietti da visita, banconote in entrambi gli scompartimenti (normale e hide). Insomma, non posso chiedere di meglio.
Il prodotto, oltre ad essere molto funzionale, anche molto bello. Fa sempre bella figura, in qualsiasi situazione.

I usually suffer from overfilling my wallets with cards & currency until it’s an awkward shape to jam into trousers’ pocket. With the streamlined Bellroy I’ve had to prioritise the cards, though the way the majority of them slip in unobtrusively is great, as is putting my drivers license card & its paper part into the hidden pocket. So far been very impressed, like the leather’s quality, slips easily into a suit trousers’ pocket or jeans pocket. Recommended.
Die Bellroy Leder Geldbrse “Hide & Seek” ist wie angepriesen deutlich dnner als andere Geldbeutel, was sich sehr positiv bemerkbar macht! Trotzdem ist Platz genug fr allerlei Karten, Ausweis, etc. Allerdings sollte man sich darber im klaren sein, das KEIN Mnzgeldfach vorhanden ist, man kann aber zur Not ein paar Mnzen im hinteren, mit einer Lasche verdeckten Teil unterbringen ohne das diese verloren gehen. Wer damit leben kann, ist hiermit bestens bedient und freut sich ber die wirklich ausgezeichnete hochwertige Lederqualitt und eine sehr angenehme Haptik im allgemeinen.
Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
This is a must for me when it comes to a wallet. You can’t have your cards falling out, and risk loosing them.
I my self have about 5 bank cards and also a fair few loayalty cards. Not to mention work ID, driving licence, oyster card and various other pieces or plastic I’m required to have on my person.
I found this wallet to work really well. As someone with numerous cards.
At first you might find the leather needs to get used to what you put in it. After a while the leather loosens up with use. But never to the point that cards fall out.
Love this wallet as it carries all the cards I have and still is as slim enough to put in jeens pockets, suit jackets and pack easily in a briefcase.
Only down side is the lack of coin pouches… But I find living in a place where cards are widely accepted and the use of transport is contactless, the lack of a coin puch is beneficial for me.
To me the price is scary at first. But now I’ve had my walet for about a year. I think its worth every penny.

In conclusione: a parit di confronto con un portafogli di altra tipologia, seguendo un preciso e razionale step di organizzazione degli spazi (aspetto apparentemente banale ma, in realt, fortemente sottovalutato), il BELLROY promette di riuscire a contenere la stessa quantit di cards e banconote ma senza “ingrassare” troppo.
Appena ho ricevuto il prodotto… – Consegna impeccabile! Il tutto ben confezionato in busta cartonata rifinita da cuciture sui bordi (semplice ma di grande effetto!) – Ho subito voluto “metterlo alla prova”. Effettuata una cernita… Ho inserito in modo “intelligente” ogni cosa al suo posto e… FUNZIONA! A patto di non voler “strafare”, questo prodotto fa ci che promette. La morbidezza del pellame si adatta perfettamente senza gonfiarsi in modo eccessivo, e la struttura fortemente razionale che regola la dislocazione delle tasche permette di gestire, al meglio, le proprie esigenze senza la materica pesantezza dei vecchi wallet ai quali eravamo abituati.
PRO:
– design tradizionale, minimal… senza tempo.
– qualit dei materiali e cura costruttiva in generale.
– funzionalit e razionalit; rivoluziona il concetto di portafogli.
CONTRO:
– non propriamente economico.
– pellame, probabilmente, meno resistente perch pi sottile (alla lunga non posso garantire…)
Riguardo al prezzo, trovo che tutto sommato non sia troppo elevato vista la qualit generale del prodotto e lo dico arrivando da prodotti ‘griffati’ ben pi cari ma che mi si distruggevano in mano dopo pochi mesi.
I really like this wallet. It holds all my cards and is still very slim, much slimmer than other wallets I have used. Leather is really nice quality and the packaging is good too. I also like the hidden pockets.

I bought this as an everyday wallet. The functions were really useful and I liked the idea of hiding some larger notes at the back under the flap. Unfortunately I find this wallet a little too large in dimensions although it is slim when all my cards are in it.
I think looking back I would have been better off buying the slim note wallet instead.
I’m sure I will find this wallet useful on a holiday keeping those 50 euro notes tucked out of the way.
I’ve always wanted a ‘proper’ wallet rather than a cheep Next wallet. I went for this one because it had some nice features and the concept of keeping slim. It does in fact keep very slim and the card slots are easy to get cards in and out of. 10 out of 10.
