This is Karrimor’s waterproof and breathable fabric. First introduced in 1948 and undergoes continued improvement in line with technological advancements to provide durable waterproofness and breathability. In footwear weathertite is a laminate used in a bootie construction and offers an excellent overall performance.

Light, comfortable and waterproof
A very comfortable pair of walking boots. Light and, importantly, bearing in mind the recent wet and muddy conditions, waterproof. Certainly recommend for any dog walkers out there who don’t like wellies.
Order half a size bigger if you are wearing thick socks
Wow after reading the reviews was a bit surprised how good they are very comfortable no rubbing on ankles even first time wearing them will definitely buy another pair ,value for money has well .
Comfy and hard wearing.
I bought these for work as I’m constantly charging about and needed something comfy and supportive. These fit the job perfectly. They’re hard-wearing, supportive and I don’t even realise I’m wearing them.

It did hurt a bit especially on my foot bones but I have placed another insole inside and put double socks when I am going for a short or long hike.. I think you must do that for any kind of hiking shoes.. I have been told, it also works to take preventive measures for your toes, not to get blisters due to long hiking hours… I normally do up to 5-6 and do utmost maximum to make my feet comfy.
Comfortable with nice grip
These shoes are nice and comfortable with gripped and light weight too . I’m size 5 for shoes and these fit perfectly without untieing the lace. Good grip for the wet weather , for snow – don’t know yet !
I ordered these last minute before fieldwork to tropical rainforest and I am thoroughly impressed. Didn’t need any breaking in, they were immediately comfortable, and survived two weeks of mud, rivers, mountains, ants, and anything else thrown at them. They were surprisingly waterproof and the outer layers dried quickly. I can not praise them enough – not a single blister despite all the hiking! I bought a size up to wear with thick socks and they were very roomy, I maybe could have got away with a 6, but they still did an amazing job.
Great boots!
Love these boots, especially as I got them at a great price. True to size even with good walking socks, feet stay warm and dry. Perfect for out walking the dog and my feet stayed dry even walking through long wet grass. I wish I’d bought 2 pairs!
Brilliant in the snow and ice
I bought these for a trip to Norway and they were perfect. I bought a size bigger to wear thick socks and that worked well. I didn’t slip once and they stayed dry in the snow. Really good value.
I’m normally a size 4, but with walking boots I always go up a size due to wearing socks. I’ve had these boots some months now and I find them really comfortable to wear. I don’t wear them in huge downpours as I put wellies on but I have worn them in light rain and my feet stay dry. I’ve walked miles in them and they have never rubbed or caused blisters so I definitely recommend these, a great purchase.
I keep coming back to Karrimor boots because they are strong, well made and comfortable.
I have not found a walking boot regardless of how much I spend that keeps my feet dry in wet grass. So why pay a lot when these boots are so good in every other aspect. I use daily for walking my dog.

I bought these to replace trainers which were hurting my feet. Completed a Munro with them without breaking them in, feet were fine. Great buy, great price. Size 4, my usual size. Fit was fine.
Survived heavy use
These boots have been worn regularly when dog walking in winter , including snowy weather , and on two long distance hiking trips . They have survived very muddy, wet weather and have been very comfortable.

Purchased to replace boots I’ve had for years & have served me well until developing a leak.
As always with footwear purchases, online is a risk. I’m typically a 7- 7 1/2 UK with a wide foot so I sized up to an 8. Fit is great with thick socks which is how I’d normally wear my boots.
I’m not a hiker but spend time outdoors camping & out & about with my friends & their dog who loves a beach.
First outing, 4-5 hours on the beach in Northumberland & I’m very happy to report that the boots are both extremely comfortable & waterproof.

Love these walking boots, They are brilliant, and compared to all the others, these are such great value for money. I’m normally a shoe size 5.5 but I went for a 6 to give slightly more room and they are great, very true to size. I walked for approximately 1.5 hours on first use & they were excellent. I’ve also worn them in pouring rain & my feet remained dry. I highly recommend them.

Fits true to size. Have only worn them walking around town just to get used to the feel of them. Very comfortable. Only arrived last week so haven’t had the chance to test them properly as walking boots. Was a little concerned that they may not be very good given the very reasonable price but have paid a lot of money for boots that have lasted less than a year so decided I’d go for some less expensive ones and see if they are better value for money.

These boots are so comfortable and light to walk in, they are true to size and have been waterproof so far! I have not worn them in heavy rain yet, so will wait and see on that one.
A replacement bought for similar pair which had only lasted a few weeks before fraying. These seem much better so far. Comfortable, waterproof and supportive.
I thought I would take a chance on these, I would normally buy a much better brand e.g N.Face but money is tight so…… These arrived, and my first thoughts were they seemed pretty good to look at, I then decided to do a fair sixed walk (4 miles) to test them, I had no issues at all, no rubbing on heel, no pinching of toes.
I then went out for another walk the next day just to be sure (3 miles) and I now have to say they are great, and what an amazing price, I have even gone so far as to order another pair, in case I cant them again at a later date. I would recommend, I am a pretty standard size 6, and they fit perfectly.
I have only worn them once for a long walk, so can’t comment on durability yet, but the boots are very comfortable, support the ankle well and don’t rub. Will see how long they last!

A nice dark elephant grey and cerise rather than dark charcoal and red as I thought
I bought a different make and style too for comparison but really liked these too so I’ve kept both
Fit as expected – quite a broad foot and size 6 – comfy
No rub around toes seams laces ankle and heel – you just kinda know as soon as you put your foot in walking shoes don’t you !!
Fastened and walking not a hike just a mobile ‘jobs’ and varied terrain kind of day and they were still comfy with no rub
Feet were a little warm though – so I’d say not breathable – which on some days is good that your feet are warm other day – mmm bit too warm though but no sweaty socks thankfully
I also bought a waterproofed product too and I’ve sprayed them in day one ! Having learned not simply to expect boots to retain
their water repellent property without a little tic.

Dry or dusty walk too
After a few hours- splashes my boots with clean water and happily noticed the beading effect – highly recommend a waterproofing extra safety net to keep the colour !

A little naffed off that on the day of delivery – the same seller selling boots cheaper ! Not pleased but it’s not a massive difference
I paid 44 for these boots and 9 for my water proofer
There’s cheaper out there but I have found that they’re never waterproof or water resistant as claimed and the soles have pulled off n sometimes my feet have got soaked ! In 30-35 boots with no w/proofing
Paid more and taken precautions – hoping it pays off !
