for the money they are well made, lightweight and cut well, the coiled lanyard is strong with clips on each end for quick release. it states that they are not for use in salt water but like anything used in salt water you need to wash and dry before storing.
Definitely have come in handy already. Avoided touching this weaver fish by shaking it off the hook with the pliers. Can’t wait to put to proper use, with some decent fish.
These are super pliers, and with the very handy coiled lanyard that clips to my fishing bag, should never get mislaid, one star less as I find the split ring separator a bit fiddly to use, but that is possibly my technique.
I like these, although would be useful to have a small spike or pin to clear fish hook eyes if they’re clogged with varnish. I thought it had one at the end of the pliers but it’s too big for that use.
Maybe it’s not for that use.
Otherwise I’d have given it 5*
Great little pliers with multiple uses. Don’t know how I got along without them. They are light and you can release the lock one handed. The clip to attach to a belt loop etc is very useful to prevent losing them if you drop them. The only thing that could be improved, would be to make the needle nose pliers longer. Overall, a very good set of cheap fishing pliers.
great too for fishing and you can clip it to your takle box so its always to hand and you cant drop it in the wate

Have tried then on cutting line crimping and opening split shot does the job for me ideal size for your pocket just what I wanted
