For a while I’ve needed a fully functional all in one trimmer, one that can do hair, beard and all other hair types a man is blessed with! Came across this on a deal and felt like it was worth taking a punt.
I’ve used a Phillips Oneblade for over a year now on my beard but wanted something that felt more powerful.
This machine literally does it all, I’ve cut my hair a couple of times using it, I’ve trimmed and styled my beard, removed some hair from inside my nose. It really does it all with such ease, changing the connectors is easy and it’s really fool proof.

Attachments: good. Battery: good. Price: good. The only thing that’s a little dodgy is the length adjustment (can’t think of a better way to describe it without looking it up); it’s very easy to unintentionally adjust as you’re using the trimmer.
I recently purchased the Braun 9-in-1 All-In-One Trimmer Series 5, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance. Very good beard trimmer bought to replace an aging Phillips one. Trims well and has more attachments than you can shake a stick at (perhaps too many as I won’t use them all!). The only negative is that the nose / ear trimmer is a little aggressive and pulls hairs. Apart from that, it’s perfect. Nice little bag for travel.
I bought my oldest son it first and my younger son saw how well it worked and wanted it so bought a second one, actually thinking of getting one for myself lol, lots of different heads and leaves barely any stubble, I recommend i
FYI it comes with a charging cable that relies on a UK shaver socket- not euro or UK standard plug. That’s fine for me as I have one of these in the bathroom and bought a cheap adapter ages ago anyway. Worth knowing if you don’t have easy access to a shaver socket.
Anyway, so far so good. The battery has happily let me trim my beard in the shower a few times without dying on me- and I find it much less messy than trying to get all the trimmed hair in the sink.
I’ve given the other attachments a quick go and they all seem to work ok, but I’ve not tried them more than once.
It also comes with a Gillette wet shave razor which I’m sure is fine but I haven’t used yet. (I have a long supply of blades for my existing razor since I only use it when I want to look extra neat round the edges.
The beard trim attachment is ok although it took a couple of goes to adjust the length without over-adjusting- not a problem.
The carry bag is also useful for keeping all the attachments together (otherwise let’s face if they’re gonna get lost in a week.)
All in all, so far so good: it hasn’t broken and trims my beard more than adequately. Nice.
Solid
Bought to replace my aging clippers, and get my yeti beard under control.
Well I have to say its nice and sharp, had zero issues with getting my beard back into a sensible shape. I wouldn’t say these were suitable for cutting your actual hair, but I have a set of whal clippers for that. But keeping ya beard in check they’re perfect.
The nasal clipper attachment seemed to work OK, but thankfully I’m yet to have to worry about a hedgehog growing out of there.
Overall a solid set of clippers, quick to charge and more than enough cutting time to get even the most unruly beard under control.
Amazing battery life and performance
I have owned this shaver for a few months now and been using very regularly and in my opinion it is the best shaver I have ever purchased.
This Braun shaver is an all in one it does everything! It has multiple attachments so you can shave all over your body. I have used it to shave my face and it does a great job. I use the Guard 1 setting for length and it keeps my beard the perfect length which others haven’t been so good at. It is powerful so you don’t have to worry about it cutting out at all. I have used the nose trimmer attachment and this is also amazing! No more nose hairs being pulled from my nose which is very annoying and painful. It is just as good for ears as well honestly there are so many attachments you will find one that works.
The shaver is also very quiet which is great.
There is also a wee travel pouch which is great for hotel trips etc.
Heads are a bit fiddly.

The body trimmer works well as a back-up shaver.
Lots of heads/attachments but a bit fiddly, and the length guides on the trimmer don’t quite line-up with the head guide (but I’m sure I’ll figure it out after a couple of tries).
Oh, and the on/off button is on the (intuitively) wrong side.
But overall not a bad piece of kit at a good price.

This is great. I’ve had quite a few hair clipper sets in the past, and none have really been up to scratch. The battery life seems decent enough, and when the battery is running low it tells you with a beep / noise.
My only criticism so far would be that the foil appeared rusty after I’d used it, cleaned it, and then left for a couple of days. It cleaned up just fine but I’m going to keep an eye on it, as for a hair clipper set that claims to be waterproof I wouldn’t expect to find rust.
Other than that great haircuts all round (well, just mine – the Mrs won’t let me do hers).
A brilliant trimme
With all the attachments, this thing can literally do everything. It’s easy to use. The attachments are solid, including the adjustable shaver heads which don’t flex and give you closer trims than you’d expect (I’ve had issues with this in other trimmers in the past). Super easy to clean and maintain, with a large battery life that lasts a good 2 or 3 weeks.
The only issue I would mention is that the trimmer can produce different length trims depending on how you hold the trimmer to your face. Gliding with the flat surface is the correct way, but holding it perpendicular to the face can cut it much closer than expected. I admit this is probably just my technique at fault and just means you need to be careful how you hold the trimme

It’s easy to use and there’s a gadget for every eventuality. It trims hair efficiently and battery life is good. You even get a Gillette Fusion 5 Proglide razor thrown in (with 2 blades). That gives a comfortable and efficient shave and it’s great for those with sensitive skin. My only gripe would be the cost of replacement blades (18 for 10 on Amazon).
So, this is a good and comprehensive hair trimming kit from Braun – that is also reasonably priced. A good quality razor is also thrown in. I am very pleased.
Easy to use, but all settings are quite short.
Really a 4.5 star, but only because the longest hair setting is much shorter than I’m used to. All the attachments work fine. I was able to transform from Albert Einstein on a bad hair day to something as streamlined as Concorde in less than 40 minutes. And all done solely by me and without the need for a prehensile tail. It did require some courage to start, but I managed an even trim first time, without ending up completely bald. After 6 weeks, my hair is now back to normal length and completely even. But I’m not known for being fussy about haircuts.
Very impressed
I’m thoroughly pleased with this shaver so far. I was almost going to choose the less expensive Samsung one, but I’m glad I got this instead. It’s pure quality. Looks and feels fantastic. I didn’t even think about wanting to use an electric razor in the shower until I bought this and it works a treat, since the performance is unaffected and no mess. It’s tidied up my small beard very well. I was slightly worried about the Body grooming attachment after reading one of the reviews on here, but it actually works very well, even down under. And I don’t mean Australia. Mine only came with the 2 pronged plug for bathrooms but since that’s what I wanted to use anyway, so no problem. The device also looks fantastic, very sleek. The only minor gripe is that it doesn’t come with a cradle (which is referred in the manual for selected models). But fortunately for me, my old babyliss cradle holds it and all the attachments perfectly (photo).

Packaging- well packaged although the hair clipper bits where rattling around in the box, found it a little difficult to open without ripping the box

Product- its a nice size fits well in the hand, the attachemnts are very easy to change over, however the do feel a little cheap, the beared clipper is fab, normally go to the barbers for a trim but decided to give it a try, blades move very easily and no pulling which is a plus .
Love the look of the thing- black and blue looks sleek, popped it on charge with the supplied charger took around three hours to charge but thats not bad from dead.
Cost- as noted it wa paid for at 70 pound its really good value,
would i buy it with my own cash?? yes i would, it looks great works most importantly and now i have no nose hair!!
Works well, pretty good for the price
I bought this set due to needing an emergency home haircut due to covid. My girlfriend has never cut hair before but was able to use the clippers with relative ease. The large variation in cutting lengths meant that it is easy for someone to start long and then cut down gradually – which was helpful.
The nose hair trimmer works but is a little bit lacking, all of the other attachments do what they say.
One minor point – the button to adjust the cut length is easy to depress, meaning if someone presses it slightly whilst applying pressure during a cut you could end up with a patch of much shorter hair than anticipated!
Battery life was no issue, even though we took things very slowly no recharging was needed.

Once charged I have used to shave my hair down to a level 2 crew cut, have me an even cut without snagging. I have also used for face shaving both with the lengh guard on and without for more of a close shave which both worked extremely efficient. Used it for my blossoming nasal and ear hair which it made short work of both and again no snagging. Looks great and perfect fit in the hand with a change that lasts a good while. Life time blade sharpness guarantee is also good allowing you to use the many different heads supplied like the nose and ear trimmer, having hair cutters for most levels which work in perfect sync with the shaver with no guard slip for that not wanted covid No1 all of which do the job with ease. All in all a great shave and I will be sharing with my friends how good this razor works.

So I’ve had the joy of using my trimmer a fair amount of time now I am just so impressed with it. The trimmer itself is light & easy to use, especially with a push on/off button. Then youve got the different trimming heads, the standard one does exactly what you need. But most importantly it doesnt leave no long hairs in places & give you the trim that you need, it gets right into the places that are usually difficult. Then you have the precision trimmer head, wow now that is just something else. This does exactly what it says, precision! Get to the even tighter spaces the other one cant, but takes the stubble down that little bit further making it feel even better. Overall my thoughts on this trimmer has left me impressed. I would definitely buy tbis product again once this ones outlived its better days. Would recommend this to anyone that is in need of a good value trimmer that does exactly the same if not better as any other one would

I purchased Braun MGK5280 on Thursday with Amazon Prime which got delivered on Friday afternoon. I have used this product which has 13 in one types over the weekend to trim hair .This is all-in-one styling kit, helping you achieve 13 jobs with 1 device. I can maintain stubble, short, medium or long beards – also it has nose trimmer which is useful feature to have. Battery backup us also good around 100-120 mins . I would highly recommend this product especially during lock down period when all barber shops are closed 🙂 . Go for it .
The Braun MGK5280 is a both a credible and viable precision body grooming kit. The Li-ion battery charges fully in 1 hour and is capable of providing up to 100 minutes of cordless operation time. It is worth noting that the trimmer charges using a 2 pin shaver socket so in order to also use it with a 3 pin UK socket (or other) an adapter will be required.
The main unit is a nice weight and well balanced in the hand and is made of durable plastic. It is also showerproof meaning you can take it into the cubicle with you while you groom. Changing the interchangeable heads is a doddle and they can be used to trim stubble and beards, precision trim, clip hair (head and body) and trim ear and nasal hair.
The various blades cut reassuring well and the motor purrs quietly rather than a noisy and nasty rasp of previous groomers I’ve owned.
The MGK5280 sits in the middle of the personal groomer price range and combines quality with a great body trimming experience.

Primarily good value for the money, it has come with plenty of different attachments for multiple uses, but one of my best impression is with the battery life, really great job Braun. The trimmer is very easy to use, lightweight and easy to clean, the nose trimmer is also convenient and is painless. Includes a free Gillette Fusion razor which is fantastic. Skin-friendly ultra-sharp blade system design is the safest feature to use it safely without having any injuries to the skin. An excellent cloth bag also included so I can keep all the different gadgets neat and organized. I can’t say much about waterproof because I only use it out of the shower so I couldn’t tell on that one, but I’m sure it’s excellent! Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase as it was exactly what I was looking for.

This Braun razor comes with a lot of useful accessories which is probably what makes it stands out from other models and competitors. It has enough equipment for you to use it to cut hair, to trim and adjust beard, to groom bodily hair and to touch up ears and nose. It’s waterproof so you can use it under the shower, however this comes handy only if you want to completely shave your beard or your body hair as for trimming it works best when your hair are dry. It also comes with a manual blades razor which I was already using to touch up my beard and it works really well, smooth and delicate. Overall it’s a great product which comes handy to use for all your grooming needs, without having to buy loads of different things.
Quite durable with lots of attachments
A nice razor with some really good attachments, such as head (hair), body trimming tool, the shape and feel of this razor is more sturdier than other Braun razors I’ve tried before.
The unit comes with a quick charge, for when you’re on the go or just need a quick trim.
The razor is also waterproof 100% for use in the shower when you don’t want to get stubborn hair everywhere all over the bathroom and come back to an angry boyfriend.
Overall 4 out of 5 stars, it could feel a lot more rubbery at the base but thats the only negative point. 🙂
