Great grooming tool
Great for bodygrooming and the included guards are perfect length (3mm & 5mm).
Charging time is quite long so probably best to charge overnight, but once charged the battery lasts ages.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excelle
My boyfriend has 2 of these as I dropped the first one and the precision blade broke but I replaced it, then fixed the old one. Will be sticking to these if we can as the precision trimmer is amazing and the the clipper and I always do a fantastic close shave
It’s good for what I needed it for .. only thing I would say is with the body clip attachment it doesn’t cut body hair short so I had to use it without the body clip which prevents from getting cut in sensitive area’s
Great item feels good in the hand nice and light great range of attachments with it only bad part need to buy a 2 – 3 pin plug adaptor to use i
Great for easy beard maintenance
I had been having my beard cut at my local Turkish barbers but used to leave it until it was fairly unkempt due to the cost. A friend recommended the Braun All-in-one, and as it was on special offer at the time I took a ‘punt’.
The trimmer is easy to use, does a superb job and seems so far to have very good battery life.
Does the job, good for a quick trim
It cut my lip the first time I was using it so I just stuck to using it for my head hair, does a good job and is easy to use
4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to hold and easy to use
The husband mostly uses the clipper to shave. But I used one to cut my father’s head. It has a replacement size for the comb, and it can be removed and changed easily. The battery does not last very long, it lasts between 60 and 80 minutes, but for us it was always enough. It charges in 8 hours, but this did not bother us either. It is easy to clean, it is small and easy to hold in the hand. It doesn’t make you uncomfortable when you use it either to pretend to be yourself or to pretend to be someone else. We are satisfied with it and it is more than we need. it doesn’t make any excessively loud or ugly noises.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to use!
Easy to use and light weight..so no achy hand of having to use for a while. Nice little set for keeping on top of the grooming while on lockdown. My other half has really thick hair so for the first part it took a bit of work to get through, however they did the job and it gave a nice neat finish. The different sized combs are great for different lengths etc and the adjustable head makes it much easier as well. Not used for beard trimming yet but I’m sure it is more than up to the job. Keeps the lads tidy though the lock down.
Comfortable to hold and use
Quite a few poor reviews on this, so was initially sceptical, but many others seem to have not so good reviews. Didn’t want to pay too much, so went for this. After a long initial charge, I started to use the trimmer. Nice and light weight. All attachment work fine and cut is good. Nice range of adjustment to get the correct depth. Used half a dozen times on beard and hair and still going strong from 1st charge.
Shaver Plug not a European plug
The shaver plug is handy for use in the bathroom. If the battery runs low, while shaving, it can still be used by being plugged into the shaver socket in the bathroom. The comments that claim this a European plug are not correct. The two are not the same. All the Braun toothbrushes have a shaver plug too. The shaver works very well and I’ve been using it for over a year now. Battery lasts very well and the attachments do not break easily. I would recommended this item.
All you need to stay trimmed
I ordered this to maintain my beared and keep my hair short without being plugged into the mains socket, I use the the number 2 attachment for stubble to shave my head with works perfectly and the other adjustable attachment’s to shape my beared .. also a bonus to get a wet shaver and head to the box.
What an investment.
So I’ve been using the same pair of battered, old, mains powered clippers for 20 years and decided it was time for a change. (Given that my beard was starting to look like I spent my days begging for change and the years haven’t been too kind to my hairline.) Took a punt on this set and I could not be happier. Small, light and powerful as you could wish for… and very quiet to boot. So many grades, sturdy build and who’s going to say no to a new razor to finish the job. Well worth the brass, get one and you won’t regret it.
Works like it should
(This is mr not mrs)
Waterproof item battery lasts a good while takes a while to charge but I’m ok with that you need to buy a shaving plug adapter at the same time as it doesn’t really fit across a usual 3 pin plug
I’m now upgraded from the Mach 3 razor (which is excellent and way cheaper replacement blades) to the new Mach whatever but the price of blades doesn’t mean I’m staying with it
The clipper adjustments are easy to switch in and out and it works really well.
I’m about 2 months in now with regular use and still not complaining
That’s got to mean something right?
Not bad.
Not a bad razor, the extra fittings may come off if you don’t be carful. Takes overnight to charge but stays charged for a good while. Reading reviews from a year ago they may of improved the battery life. Not the greatest selection of length. Mine came with a USA plug. But value for money for a razo
Good to certain exte
Very good for trimming facial hair and getting around the tight edges for finer detail with the smaller head.
If you looking to cut hair you may need something a bit more powerful that cuts quicker and thoroughly. (I had Phillips previously)
Spent ages trying to cut a childs hair i had to go over the same area several times to get an equal length. Once you got to the desired length then it is ok and good for trimming around the ears etc.
Pretty decent.
Bought this keep lockdown hair in check a little but also to try help with my new goatee.
All works lovely and is defo doing the job. Only thing against it for is is that the guides take a bit of getting used to in the way need to placed against the skin. Not right and they miss.
Good though and I’m pleased overall.
I have quite a strong beard, to the point that cheap plastic beard trimmers were never good enough. I ended up using a hair trimmer for years but ofcourse as they are normally larger it is harder to navigate in and around the mouth and nose.
I have always trusted braun so decided to throw my money on this. Came in today and I have used it straight away as I was curious.
It’s a great little piece of kit. Small, and handy. Only downside, if you are trimming using the 3-15mm heads and you have strong beard hair like mine, you may have to take the head off every couple of runs as the hair would get congested in the head.
Otherwise all good, would be nice if it came in a little bag but I appreciate the price point doesn’t allow it.
I would buy again and have already recommended to friends.
4.0 out of 5 stars Where’s the adaptor to charge the thing?!
My husbands previous Braun beard trimmer, which was many years old, had started to loose its battery life. He knew he wanted this exact one to replace his older model which made buying this for him for Christmas easy as.
It came packaged very well and exactly as stated. Except for one small issue.
There was no UK adaptor. Only a two pin hotel plug. Which really isn’t a small issue now is it? We were surprised by this and aren’t sure exactly how to charge it without now purchasing an adaptor.
We’ve never had an issue with Braun before so this was disappointing to say the least.
The trimmer does come with lots of attachments to use on varied beard lengths so that’s a plus! These help to make beard maintenance super easy. At least from what my husbands told me!
If not for the adaptor issue Braun would have a home run on their hands with this product. And I’d be able to give it a higher rating.
Other than that, I’m more than happy to recommend Braun and their products to everyone.
I bought this to trim my husband’s hair during lockdown. I was a bit nervous about using it as I have never used one before. I watched many utube videos and bearing in mind nothing is ever as easy as they make it look on utube videos I gave it a try. It took me a long time to achieve the first trim but I was reasonaby pleased with the outcome and more importantly so was my other half. He doesnt have much on top but it was very thick at the sides and the back with a lot of neck hair. I have since completed a couple more trims for him and he says he won’t be going back to the barber! The trimmer will have paid for itself in no time!
I found it reasonably easy to use although I did have difficulty in removing the head so that I could put the smaller blade on to trim round the ears and tidy up the neckline. I think I have it sussed now though.
