I used to have a different one of these that I had to use different heads for so was unsure of how it would feel to switch to a different type of trimmer with an adjustable head.

Let me just say it was the best trimmer decision I ever made. It’s so easy to adjust on the go and you can get such precise finishes so easily.

It holds its battery really really well too and lasts for whenever I need it.

Got his to keep my beard tidy, been using it over 6 months and no problems.
    Easy to clean and use.
Can change the length on it.
Can use it a number of times before a charge.

My friend took this to a festival and it was brilliant for trimming my beard down to stubble which I normally use. I prefer this to the smaller more modern electric shaver that seem to be designed for this use, this is way better – doesn’t need blades replaced and doesn’t need extra combs/etc.

Good trimmer, cuts well and easy to clean. No moustache trimmer though which my last one had. That wouldn’t matter but trying to angle the larger main head is a bit awkward. Good range of beard length adjustment.

I don’t normally write a review so soon , arrived today and tried it out on hair(back and sides as bald on top) wow it cuts really well , great to use where you want as cordless , just be aware if your using for head hair be warned no1 setting isn’t grade 1 as I learned so set it a bit higher than you think as can always change to lower if not short enough , it’s all a bit of trial and error but did an easy great job

Dislikes. The power switch is a really stiff slider? For someone with joint pain I’d have reservations about this.

The guard is a bad design as it fills with trimmings and clogs up if doing a full beard trim. Less of a problem if doing a bit of light trimming and. Maintenance.

There’s no power indicator so no idea if it’s charged or not or if its about to run out

Skin nicks – this is my fourth or fifth trimmer and the only one ever to draw blood… Not sure why?

Hair pulls – a few times it has trapped and pulled hairs on my cheek and neck. Not pleasant!

Ergonomic Shape apart From the switch!
The length dial works well And Feels robust
    Very clean cut
Detail trimming is easy and accurate. (but see nicks and hair pulls)

It’s predecessor came with a basic plastic stand the power cable Clipped in to which made it look tidy in the bathroom or bedroom especially when Charging.. There’s not one with this and it gets shoved in the bathroom cabinet or left on the window sill… It doesn’t encourage you to look. After it…

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI had previously had a cheap trimmer from a well-known high street store which I thought was reasonably ok. When I first got the Braun I initially thought it wasn’t cutting a thing because when I took the trimmer away from my face there appeared to be no hair. However, looking in the mirror at my face it transpired that it was taking significant amounts off and somehow cleverly compressing it within the blade. It does mean that as with any other, the blade needs to be cleaned or blown out, but the fact that it can cut far more is very good. The major downside, though I have to be honest it’s not impacted me directly as regards use, is the battery life. I find it very odd in this day and age, smartphones being an obvious comparison, that it takes 10 hours to charge in order to give 50 minutes of use. I have no idea how individual types of electronic or electrical devices work but 10 hours for 50 minutes seems an incredibly long time. The other thing is that when it’s plugged in to charge, the green light remains on all the time to indicate it is charging. It would help if the green changed to red in order to indicate that it is fully charged. But apart from those gripes, as regards usage, holdability, noise, etc., are all concerned, I can’t fault it.
