Age Precision is an age adjustable fever guidance. You can set the age of your child (0-3 months, 3-36 months and 36 months to adult) and interpret the reading quickly with the help of a colour coded display. Age Precision colour coding has been designed for underarm use.

Great home thermomete
I purchased one of these thermometer for use at home and to monitor temperature of my family. Easy to use with a clear display, this unit is good value and provided the ability to monitor temperature pretty quickly and accurately with settings for young children to older people as temps can vary. Highly recommended from a well known brand.
Good bu
1 flaw with this. When your setting age group prior to taking temp the background light goes off and if your not in a very well lit room it’s impossible to see. So impossible to use at night if you don’t want to disturb a sleeping patient.
Handy thermomete
Very lightweight, good quality, accurate reading. The backlight should stay on all the time, and the selected baby’s settings should be stored. In this we have to select every time when we switch the device on. . Performance and battery life is good. Haven’t changed the he time we bought. Good value for money as I get it while it was on discount.
Great price and seems to work well for me.
I like the ease of use. I use under the arm pit and it beeps when temp reading is complete. Also has a colour reading depending on the age of your child. Takes a little long to actually get a reading if your child is squirming about otherwise, 5*.
Seems to do the job
Seems to do the job well enough. Easy to use and taking multiple readings over the day it seems to be consistent. However I do not have another thermometer to compare results to so don’t know exactly how accurate it is. However it is giving me the results I’d expected.

I’ve seen others complain of different readings, for me it’s been perfect, every time I’ve used I’ve put it under armpit for a few minutes before turning it on, and after it’s been accurate readings every time.
Fantastic product, bought when I was expecting. Had to check my little ones temperature, so easy you select the age range, pop it in the arm pit then it beeps
When the temperature read is ready. What is super handy is it flashes either green, amber or red so you know if the temperature is ok.
Comes with batteries so all you need to do is turn it on .
Very accurate
I bought this as a general use thermometer for me. It works really well but it dropped a star because I personally find it annoying to have to click through to the adult setting before I can use it.
It could be great and usable in the dark...still fast.
It is extremely fast, but not much user friendly:
1.Before every use, On a dark display age must be set.(WHY?)
2. Measures for few seconds, beeping and readable in dark.

Good product it does what it does but
It illuminates when you turn it on but then it turns off the colours and you just about see the black lcd.
Very accurate
This one is one of my favourite thermometers. They are very accurate and easy to put under the armpit. It’s by far the best thermometer.
I can always rely on this. Different age groups which is great especially when they are babies.
Quick, simple and easy
I’m glad I got this and it’s so simple to use.
The only downside is that the screen is not lit at all times, only when it shows the temperature and the corresponding colour to show off you are in the right zone.
There’s absolutely no way this is going in anyone’s bottom.
Good features
I liked everything with the exception of the cover fit. It doesn’t click shut, so could just fall off in your pocket or in a drawer. I like the green, amber, red colour coding for the display although I have only seen it green, but if I was feverish I expect amber or red. I cannot comment on accuracy, how would I know?

It’s probably partly down to human error and the short time the thermometer takes to give a reading but we find it difficult to reproducibly get the same reading. The first always seems to be the highest – which is suspicious. It’s actually more important to get a reliable reading by a thermometer taking a bit longer but speed is one of the main selling points of these things. And the problem of reproducibility seems to be something most of these thermometers suffer from.
It’s annoying that you always have to choose the age bracket before you can take the reading. Surely it could remember the setting you used last? Otherwise it’s always several presses before you can start the measurement and actually most people know what a high/low reading is – particularly if they took the reading an hour earlier.
The most negative aspect for us was that, for some reason, the tone of the beeps of the thermometer really upset our cockapoo. She starts making wimpering noises and is very distressed to the point that we have to move her out of the room to use it. Not a problem for everyone but there is no way to turn off the sound – which is a negative.
On the positive, it’s got a reasonably large display and seems very competitively priced.
Just buy this one if you are looking for a good thermometer. There are a lot of Chinese and cheap brands out there, but this one delivers in every aspect. It’s fast, accurate, doesn’t give unreliable readings and it just works without a hassle. It’s not the cheapest you can find, but it’s worth every penny!

Bought this product as my brother lent us his whilst baby was poorly. The different age settings are fantastic and with the colour display makes it easy to use and understand. We love this thermometer and would highly recommend.
Exactly what I’d expec
Surprisingly more accurate than their ear option. Very fast and really accurate so far. The only unnecessary option, if you are an adult, is the age precision. Having to set that every single time seems silly if you have no babies in the house or soon enough you won’t need the lower setting as they grow up so quickly. For now, it doesn’t look it can be disabled, but that’s a minor challenge for how good the device has been so far. Recommended then!
Easy to use and clean.
Have not used it seriously yet but encountered a minor but important problem. It emits a sound when the reading is ready to view, but the frequency of the sound is above my hearing range! I am 82 years young and my hearing is not what it was but I am not ready for a hearing aid yet!

This is great get a reading very quickly I like how you set it to age and as well as the reading you get a colour come on the screen as well. So easy to use with a baby that doesn’t stay still
Ordered this thermometer after reading the reviews on it and I have to say this is such a good choice, it reads the body temp a lot quicker than others I’ve used which is handy when you have a screaming wriggling baby lol
Good quality
I have good faith in Braun products. I have used this temperature meter to put in my diaper bag, so that I can also check outside whether my baby has a fever or not. because he suffers a lot from teething.
Dim display, loud beeping
Accuracy is good. Display is quite dim after you initially switch it on – have to use a torch to be able to read the reading in the mornings. Also the beeping is quite loud which can be annoying for anyone in the same room trying to sleep
This is my second one of these thermometers. The first one was old and worn out. This latest one is very easy to use and quick to show temperature. However the sound indicating completion does not always work. If temperature is taken again to confirm it is quite often different, which is confusing. However I only use it as a guide to keep an eye on daily temperature during current covid situation. Overall I am happy with purchase and would recommend it to other customers
I bought this as an identical replacement for my previous one which I bought about 5 years ago and which stopped working after I washed it. I had flu and thermometers go in your mouth so naturally I assumed it would be waterproof. But it doesn’t seem to fully be the case. It stopped working and it made a continuous beeping noise every time I turned it on. The only way to make it stop was to take the battery out. So I threw it away and bought this one.
It looks identical but the battery cover seems to be more snug, however it appears to be a lot slower if I’m not mistaken. It takes a little while until it beeps to let you know that it has successfully read your temperature.
Overall it is a very good price compared to the identical same item elsewhere but also in comparison to similar thermometers on the market.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase.
