Easy convenient & stylish
We had one of these blenders years ago and it lasted for years. When my husband broke it I thought I’d try a different brand. 3 other branded blenders we’ve gone through in the last 9 months and I just thought why didn’t I just get what I know is reliable and easy to clean. Works like a charm. And this colour way is perfection a white a gold one next please. Love love love
Great value & amazing!
Must admit i have been pleasantly surprised by this product. Makes fab smoothies,even with frozen fruit. Only thing,you must keep your finger on the button & mustn’t keep it going for more than a minute,as it gets warm & releases a slight burning smell…
Brilliant smoothie blende
I ordered this blender as it was compact in size (suitable for my small kitchen), chops frozen fruit with ease , came with two sports type bottles for ease of transportation . I have only given four stars as the clip on the lid of one of the bottles broke after a week. I was able to order a replacement Breville bottle from Amazon, but it is worth noting that the one bottle was nearly the same price as the blender itself . I would recommend this blender , I use it everyday making fruit and oat smoothies and wouldn’t be without it now .

Good blende
This item is compact and works really well. It comes with 2 x bottle & lids for taking with you if required. Can be used to crush ice but I’ve yet to try this. Makes lovely milk shakes in not much time, quite powerful. Easy to clean and assemble. I went for the pink colour which is a great dark shade not too barbie 🙂
Brilliant value
If you are looking for a mains powered blender for smoothies or protein shakes this is excellent and as strong as our Ninja. Comes with 2 bottles and lids. Quick and easy to use. Blending capacity is very good, my favourite of our blenders.
I was looking for a blender that I could use to blend nuts and frozen fruits for my breakfast smoothies but didn’t want to spend a fortune. This Breville Blend Active Personal Blender & Smoothie Maker is absolutely perfect for it. It’s quite a simple blender compared to some of the more expensive models, but it does the job great.
The build quality is good for the price, and the lead is a decent length. I ordered the Blue colour and it looks great in my kitchen. My sister has the Pink one, and that looks nice too. They have a very minimalist and elegant design, which complements any kitchen decor.
The blender comes with 2 large 600ml blending bottles with leak-proof lids and even recipe ideas if you’re new to making smoothies. The blending bottles have a generous capacity, enough for a couple of small smoothies or a larger one. They click into the blender base unit really easily and feel secure during use. The lids haven’t leaked on me yet but don’t feel particularly sturdy. As long as you keep them upright when on the move, you shouldn’t run into any issues.
The blender itself is incredibly simple and easy to operate. The bottle screws into a blade attachment which you then insert into the base unit. It has a one-touch blending button which you press and hold until your smoothie is blended to the desired consistency. This gives you total control over the blender, which is ideal for when a drink or recipe requires a different consistency. Once you’ve finished blending, you unscrew the blade attachment from the bottle and replace it with a lid. That’s it! You’re all good to go. The process takes seconds from start to finish.
I was curious to see how well it blends ice, and it does a fantastic job. The motor has more than enough power to blend even larger cubes of ice with ease. Although the manual advises against hot liquids, I did try blending a soup and it worked fine, but I wouldn’t recommend doing it often.
It is quite loud, but most blenders are, and it doesn’t really bother me. As long as it does the job well, I can put up with a little loudness. The blender is very easy to clean. The blending occurs in the top of the bottle, so nothing gathers in the base unlike most blenders. The detachable blade and blending bottles make the process simple and quick to wash by hand or in a dishwasher as they are also dishwasher-safe.
At its current price, it’s exceptional value for money for a blender, especially for one from such a well-trusted brand. I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend this item to anyone looking for a cheap and reliable blender for smoothies and drinks.

I like this product, it’s small and compact. I use it at work so I leave the base in the kitchen which is quite small and the base doesn’t get in the way. Its small and black so doesn’t look out of place with the other devices in the kitchen.
The actual blend of the machine is great, it always mixes my stuff without any issues. I normally blend up fruit and protein powders.
Once blended I drink my concoction directly from the mixing bottle, it comes with a different lid so you can keep it for later but I don’t actual use that bit because I drink it straight away, but I can imagine that would be useful to keep it for later and it has a drinking spout which would also help out.
The only issue I had with it was that a couple of times the lid came off when I was blending, but I figured out quite quickly that it was my own fault as I was over tightening the lid, it doesn’t require too much force to keep it on tight and as I was over tightening it the lid would be skew and let some of the inside out. Since realising this I haven’t had a problem with it.
A work colleague saw me using it and actually bought the same product, we now share the base in the kitchen and have our own mixing vessel and keep the second base for if there’s a problem with the original base, but so far there hasn’t been any issues with it.
I would recommend this product and potentially purchase it again if I required something for an alternative location and didn’t want to carry it about.
Blends up really well
I got it for my mum for her birthday and she blitzed up some apples and made slushies with ice.
Works so good and the extra flasks were worth it!
Bought this I aug 2023. Worked well until nov 2023. The rubber part of the blade element which connects to the motor disintegrated, and so it stopped blending. Called Breville. Extremely helpful, sent me a number that I then forwarded to Amazon for a refund. Stopped working at 8am and by 10am I was able to order another unit which should arrive next day. It’s when things go wrong that you realise why some companies do well and others don’t.
Quick blitzing
Bought as a replacement for an older model. This one is quieter, has more power and uses less space. A little annoying is that the old bottles lids are not the same thread. All good apart from that.

I love this smoothie maker. So easy to use. I have used it to make smoothies and juices. Its a perfect size for either one or two people. Its a good size for the counter top or to store in a cupboard as its not too big. I would highly recommend it.
The Blender itself and the actual base of the bottles they give are good, and do the job, the value is nice.
However the Cap of the Bottle where it clicks and covers it from spilling broke for me after 4 weeks of use, I didn’t even notice when it happened, but the thing that holds the cover seems to break really easily and it’s a common theme it seems from other reviews and google searches.
Blender is great, the cap of the bottles could be improved upon.
Had an older model which had been used daily but finally the motor bunt out. Although still a brilliant little machine disappointed with the design changes. The lids to the containers are made with a brittle plastic and the catch broke the first time i used it. Unfortunately the lids to the old containers have a different screw thread and cannot be used on the new containers. Neither can the old containers be used on the machine for the same reason (why change a perfectly acceptable design just for the sake of it ?). I now have to either decant my drink into the old cotainer or use the (glued) broken lid with an elastic band to hold it in place see photo. Were it not for the above I would have given it 5 stars. I don’t know why, but the pink one I bought was a few pounds cheaper than other colours available- maybe if you have it permanently on display you want it to blend with your colour scheme.
Easy to use and pretty sturdy. Enables consumption of raw beetroot and walnuts because they’re mushed in with things that aren’t disgusting like watermelon, yogurt, etc. Use it every day.
A good product which meets all the needs of a blender. It is small, compact, light weight and takes up little space in the cupboard. I have been using the blender now for five weeks and I am extremely happy with it.
It is surprisingly easy to use, even a child can figure it out. No extra or unnecessary attachments included.
Blends perfectly, including small pieces of frozen fruits / vegetables straight from the freezer when suspended in liquid.
My only complaint is that the tab for the drinks container needs to be stronger as it broke after a couple of weeks. This however doesn’t have any impact on the product, except for the fact that the lid is not secured tight when in use.
Accidentally the bes
Easy to use, easy to clean, easy smoothies. All for 20! Accidentally ordered this but makes a great smoothie! Comes with 2 bottles, the blade is easy enough to clean but am worried about the connecting gear as it seems almost 3d printed.
Brilliant for smoothies!
Powerful for quick smoothies. Easy to use and clean. Two strong drinks bottles that are used to make the smoothie, saving on washing up. Only negative is that it’s quite loud.
So good, I also bought one for my uni kid and they love it.
Decent Quality at A Low Price
Really great value for money. I’d already bought one for myself and purchase this for my daughter. The power is sufficient for most smoothies, but if you’re making frozen smoothies and using ice, it can struggle a bit and takes time but if you use plenty of liquid or soft fruit, it works like a treat.
Very easy to clean and use and this has a great capacity too.

Bought this for smoothies for the Mrs and Protein shakes for me, destroys frozen things in an instant and makes me lovely protein shakes without bits in and very easy to clea
Does the job
So far so good, wanted a blender to make milkshakes but we also wanted to be able to blend ice. It’s a powerful little thing, so far we’ve only used it a couple of times to make smoothies or milkshakes but it works great. Can’t complain , reasonable price also .very loud though lol
Easy to clea
Use to make fruit smoothies and milkshakes. Great to have 2 bottles, easy to clean, I’ve bought 3 of these now, one for me, one for my son for mine and one for my parents to help increase their fruit consumption in an easy palatable way. Thoroughly recommend.
Excellent for smoothies
I have a nutri bullet at home and bought this for my caravan to save bringing it back and forth all the time. This is just as good in my opinion and can’t see an awful lot of difference for making a smoothie.
I bought this blender a month ago and have used it pretty much every day since to make morning smoothies and it’s been perfect. I was sceptical at first because of some reviews mentioning smoke coming from the motor – I haven’t had any issues with this. I think as long as you blend in short bursts (as intended) it will be fine! Love how you blend straight into the cup you drink from so no extra washing up. Also, I’ve used it to crush ice once and it did that well too with no signs of wear to the blades. The cups are machine washable and the whole thing is neat a compact so can be stored away easily. Great product!
Good but lids are horrible
Lids are HORRIBLE!! But the rest is good. Only thing is it doesn’t blend the base of the bottle you have to scoop with spoon
The lids ruined an otherwise perfect machine
I had the previous model (green one) and after one of the bottles broke I decided to buy a new bottle. This is was my first mistake. The new bottle was 10 on its own and didn’t fit the old version! For 10 more you can get the new version + 2 bottles. So don’t make the same mistake I did! It’s more cost effective to get the new one!
The new one in my opinion is much better than the old one. I use mine to make shakes in the morning using Huel meal replacement powder. The Huel scoop is quite large and I had to use a funnel before to avoid spillage. However these new bottles have a much bigger top so the scoop fits no problem!
The blender itself seems more powerful but I don’t have any facts to back that up.
I definitely recommend this blender for its price and I’ve had absolutely zero problems using it.
20ish with two bottles is a bargain.
Does just what it says….makes great smoothies and chops the ice too. Bad thing about this is that after 3 uses the clip on the cup lid broke off so now can’t use the bottle when going to work as the lid does not lock
Excellent and powerful
Such a good blender, I love it. Key thing for me is that it blends ice and it does this with no effort at all. I made a shake and out a whole tray of ice in and it was blended in seconds!
The bottles are ace and it’s so convenient to blend and then drink straight away.
I have had a few different brands and this is most def the best I have used at an excellent price!
The blender is great but the lids are absolute rubbish. The first lid broke within days and the second one has followed suit. The lids are important when your making smoothies. You need them to store the smoothies.
Perhaps you could get the supplier to take a look at these weak lids.

Firstly, I was happy that it arrived on time as he was so excited about the prospect of our experiment. Straight away, I was impressed with its performance and functionality. As the 350W motor is surprisingly powerful for such a compact blender.
After a few simple instructions, my grandson was able to experiment with various ingredients with only minimal supervision, which boosted his confidence. It effortlessly blended a variety of ingredients, including fruits, vegetables, and even ice, resulting in smooth and well-textured beverages. We tried everything out.

For me and my grandson, it provided a day of fun and enjoyment. Ultimately, he chose to make banana and pineapple with yoghurt, and I chose tropical fruit. On our walk and picnic, we shared with each other, and he was very proud of his achievement.
This blender is fab!
I’ve been able to have fruit smoothies every day…and prior to having this I really wasn’t eating much fruit.
Largely due to me having sensitive teeth, so biting down on cold fruit was painful and ultimately made eating fruit less enjoyable.
But with this, I’m now having fruit every day (my kids too!!) And it’s so easy to use.
Just drop all the fruit you want in it and blend!
Only thing I’ll say, is it struggles a bit with frozen fruit, so what I tend to do is put the frozen fruit in orange juice and leave on the fridge for a bit to thaw more, then blend. It does leave some bits, so I never gave a totally smooth smoothie, but I can live with that.
I even made a chocolate and banana milkshake which was yummy!
Dropped the star as it struggles with frozen, so does mean if I don’t have all fresh fruit, have to wait for my smoothie and this is advertised as coping well with frozen…which in my opinion it doesn’t.
Wish I’d got one soone
I bought this for breakfast smoothies and to avoid having to lug my big jug blender out every day. It’s been great, and has been a hit with my children too.
It’s compact: I can keep the base unit out without cluttering my counters. The bottles fit easily in cupboards.
It’s easy & simple to use – screw cap shut, click into place press one button, unclick from unit, unscrew cap, screw on lid.
For those with strength/mobility issues: it’s not at all difficult to twist/click the bottle into the base unit and the button only requires a gentle pressure. The most resistance is in screwing/unscrewing the various caps, as they have a rubber seal, but it’s very little resistance, the same as your average juice screw cap I’d say.
That said, it is still a pulse blender, so you have to keep the button pushed in for as long as you want it to blend. It really doesn’t need long at all, though; the instructions say not to run it continuously for longer than 30 seconds to prevent overheating but I’ve never yet approached that length of time. I have been using this every morning for 2 weeks now (and my kids every other day or so on top of that) and I’ve never yet needed to press it for longer than 10 seconds. My smoothies are banana, frozen berries (including chunky strawberries), powder and liquid, so maybe if you’re crushing ice you might need to, but it really is remarkably quick and efficient.
The spout is nice and wide and easy to drink from.
It’s powerful – frozen berries get chopped up with ease (something my old-but-expensive jug blender couldn’t manage). I’ve not tried it with ice yet.
It’s easy to clean (see video) – a drop of washing up liquid and some hot water, cap on, blitz for a few seconds and rinse! If there’s stuff stuck to the sides then a quick scrub with a bottle brush is all you need. I’d definitely recommend a bottle brush as the bottles are long and narrow and might be tricky with a normal washing up brush.
I know many reviews have mentioned the cap getting in the way when drinking, but I’ve not found this to be the case. The cap is free to move but you can push it a little further and it stays open and out of the way.
The catch on the lid cap could be an issue – it’s solid moulded plastic clicking onto a solid triangular ‘lip’ on the lid, which means you have to lift a loop of plastic up to disengage the catch. This means it could potentially bend and snap over repeated usage, but I’ve personally not felt it was weak or at risk of breaking. That said, I’m conscious of not being too rough with it.
I’m not sure how long the rubber loop will last – I can imagine if you’re regularly carrying a full bottle from the strap it won’t last forever, but I carry mine by the body.
All in all, this is an excellent, powerful little blender at a great price.
Overall a nice product. Slightly insane are the prices of spare bottles since you can buy an entirely new unit + 2 bottles for less than the price of 2 spare bottles alone.
Blender is pretty powerful. Mixes things thoroughly, using it for meal shakes and they are quite powder heavy (400ml liquid + a lot of powder) and this thing blitzed it up super well and left no residue anywhere on the bottle or any lumps of any kind.
It’s a bit noisy and i think it would be a nicer design for the button to run the machine for 30s rather than having to hold it but that’s a minor niggle.
The lids on the bottles aren’t amazing and i can see why people don’t like it as the clip is just flexing plastic tab rather than a hinged design so i understand why it might not last.
