I love this gym!
We’ve used it with the sides up when she was unable to move about. Then she loved the lights and sound, it would keep her entertained for a while. It’s been perfect for tummy time as the cushion helps and she loves the pictures. Then a few months on she started to reach for the toys.
I can see us getting a lot of use out of this. Our baby is 4 months old and she loves reaching for the toys. There are a few different places you can position them, on the bars or on the mat so now that she’s moving a lot more we might take the bars down and clip toys on the mat. Looking forward to using it as a ball pit when she is able to sit up unaided.
Definitely worth the money as you can use it when your ready to start tummy time and when baby is ready to play then can change it to suit your baby’s activity level or interest.
Only really had use of three toys so far, the cards that she loved to stare at when she was younger and now loves to grab and play with. The crinkly toy and the musical elephant. I think when she gets older the other toys will be great but I’m still happy with this purchase.
Best things: colour and pictures. Lights and Sound. The versatility, when they don’t want the lights anymore they can reach the toys then when they get older it can be a mat or ball pit. Wipe clean! Great when you have a baby with reflux. Great material.
Cons: the toys seem too low but I bought extra links and that solved the problem. The setting on the elephant allowing the baby to kick the side is ok but requires a lot of force.
We use it on carpet, it is thin but you can always buy a cheap mat to go under it I guess.

My daughter LOVES the little elephant that plays music and has flashing lights, she smiles at him a lot! 🙂 She is now 4 months and has started to play with the little toys that hang down.
I like that this playmat has different ways that you can set it up and I love that it comes with balls to make it into a ball pit for when she’s a bit older! I think this will last her a long time.
The little pillow is very handy for getting her to do tummy time as she hates laying completely flat on her tummy!
It isn’t very soft at all though, I have put a blanket in it to lay her on and have bought foam flooring to go underneath so she is comfortable.
Great playma
This was fantastic as a playmat from when our little one was a newborn until she started to crawl and could no longer be contained! It’s adaptable and grew with her- we put the sides up when she started rolling and turned it into a ball pit (balls were included), which entertained her longer. The dangling toys were great as she started reaching and playing with things, and definitely bought me a couple of minutes here and there to get a cup of coffee!

Bought this for my baby nephew 3 years ago. This was definitely one of the best presents I have ever purchased for him. Good quality. Amazing toys. Love the many options and how versatile it is as they grow up.
Nephew made such good use of it. Easy to take anywhere if you want your baby to keep stimulated/ entertained.
I really like this baby gym. Initially we used it as a flat activity mat but my son began rolling over and crawling early, so its been useful to have sides that can go up and down so that he cant escape easily.
The canopy which attaches to it can be a little bit fiddly so we’ve left ours on and not really taken it off unless packing it back into the box, which is easy to do.
It comes with a good variety of attachments like a mirror, number cards, a picture on ‘crispy’ material, plastic rings, etc, we’ve also hung a few other toys from it without any problems. We haven’t turned it into a ball pit yet but will when he’s a bit older.
We have used a few of the plastic toys in a paddling pool during the hot weather, which was nice as we didnt have to buy additional bath toys.
My son loves the elephant which lights up and plays nature sounds or a little tune, which can be ongoing or activated when he knocks it. There are also 2 sound levels.
Its very light and easy to move about, but i personally would have liked a little extra padding. Its great on our carpet, but ill had to find something to go underneath for use on our tiled floors.
In terms of cleaning, I’ve given it a wipe, whichnis fine so far, but I plan on trying the base out in the washing machine.
Great product for younger babies
This product is great and has a good variety of hanging items and sounds the little ones can play with. Also brilliant it can turn into a ball pit. The mat itself is also great and very cushioned/ large when unfolded. The only drawback is I found was when the clips are attached and sides up with hanging items, it was a little too small for my girl (she was 3/4 months when we got it), and therefore it doesn’t last as long as some others where the sides are open and they can reach/ move etc.

Well made with bright colours and lots of fun activities and it is very light to carry with functional carry bags for the balls etc.
Comfortable materials that are easy to clean and we think that it is very well thought out. It is not cheap, but it offers all we need

This is another great product from Bright Sparks that offers a great deal of versatility and can grow with your child. The play mat can be used in a variety of different ways: as a simple play mat, as a ball pool, as a supportive cushion to aid sitting the options are endless! What’s more, the quality materials and bright, appealing colours make it ideal for engaging your little one’s attention from birth. Perfect for encouraging tummy time and sitting as well as developing motor skills as little ones grow.
A great product that, although on the pricey side, will provide lots of fun opportunities for play in a baby’s early weeks and months!
Really fun but overpriced
This ball gym is really fun for little ones. It has around 10 balls, toys and number cards, it can be converted in many ways, lots of ways to play with. However it is slightly overpriced for what it is.
Better for a younger baby
Bought this for my son in 2020 and looked fantastic but didn’t get use of it till he was a bit older (About 5/6 months). I paid 75 for this at the time and don’t believe it is worth the amount I paid but has been reduced since. The mat itself it’s a good size, great material, very comfortable and has a lovely print on it. The only thing is that he wasn’t keen on the bars been put on over the top but that’s probably because it was quite close to him and he looked a bit stuck under it. The bars would probably be best for a much younger baby who can’t yet sit up unaided. Only used the mat for a few months but it was great while he was interested in it. Would recommend but for a much younger age.

This is a really great 4 in 1 gym for small children and babies. It is a really great and fun way to entertain them. I like all the different colours and the different designs as well as all the animals. It is really eye-catching for kids and adults too. It was delivered quickly and in good packaging.
It is really sturdy and durable and the mat is really good quality, soft, and comfortable. There are many different activities, as well as 90+ songs, sounds and phrases. I like the fact there are three different languages, English, Spanish, and French.
Overall, I think it is really good value for money and amazing for children. Recommended!
Highly recommended
My son has been absolutely obsessed with this since he was about 4 weeks old. He’s 15 weeks now and he laughs and smiles as soon as he sees the little elephant and the mirror. I would definitely recommend, one of the best things I’ve bought for him. I haven’t got him in the ball pit bit yet, but delighted that it can grow with him and last until he’s much older. Gives me a moment or 2 to have a coffee and watch him play from the sofa.
Another great product from bright starts. Theres nothing to dislike about this 5 in 1 baby gym. It can be used from birth upwards. Really bright and colourful, pink with an elephant, rainbow and toucan design, it stands out and gets your attention. You’re able to get it in a range of colours/designs. The mat is a really good size and has loops to attach toys to. Easy to fold up for storage. You get a tummy time pillow included, aswell as toys and 40 colourful balls. The arches are covered in fabric. They’re sturdy and stand well in place, no bending or leaning over when toys are hung from its loops. It has a cute musical elephant that lights up and plays music. The sides of the mat fold up and tie into place, you can have it up to stop your little one shuffling off the mat, but also turn it into a small ball pit. The mat is soft and have everything there to stimulate little minds and attract attention. Perfect for different stages of baby. Everything is superb quality and extremely well made. Bright, colourful and engaging. Would reccomend without hesitation. Love everything about it.
Versatile and fu
This baby gym has a really unique and versatile design as you can use it as a ball pit, a play mat for tummy time, and as a gym with the canopy. The main mat is soft and lightly padded so lovely and safe for even very young babies.
There are plenty of features to keep little ones amused like the hanging toys and of course the balls. The whole thing folds up into a fairly small carry bag which is great for storage.
The only thing against this I would say is the price of 79.99 which seems a bit high compared to similar play gyms. It might be cheaper to buy another gym with canopy and add some low cost plastic balls which you can buy separately to be honest. However the style of this is very cute with the animal designs.

bright colourful and noisy nd will grow with child
This is a wonderful tropical gymtht we got for our new great grandchild. We have built up very easily and have it in their bedroom as a surprise when they visit, It is bright colourful and noisy The child can listen to songs and sounds created by his little set on drum or piano. There are hanging toys which includes card s and a parrot. . It will grow with the child and thy can lie and play sit and play and it will also be great for tummy tie. It is a lovely piece of equipment. I love it and cannot wit to see it in use.
Baby loves it: it's her favourite place to be!
I am so, so happy we got this. I was very skeptical about the price of it but our 12 week old absolutely adores it (she was 8 weeks when we got it). The bright colours are so stimulating and the accessories are perfect for her learning new skills. It keeps her busy for ages so I can get on with things and the walls discourage my dog from getting in too!

We honestly can’t live without this now. The first time my girl was put in it she absolutely loved it. She never knows what to look at – we put her in it diagonally to play with toys and we take one side down to practice tummy time whilst she looks at the colourful walls. I always put the musical elephant on and she likes the flashing lights. To see her genuinely enjoying something so much which means I can do housework is great!

It’s really light so can be moved around easily, but the walls are kept together with velcro and various ties. The arches are attached at each corner underneath the floor so stay up and don’t slouch. You can easily carry it with the centre cross-section
* Thick, quality and comfy material —
The flooring is fairly cushioned for comfort and it’s soft on baby skin. It also wipes clean
* Comes with a tummy-time pillow —
Putting down one or all edges makes it a great place to practice tummy time and to encourage head turning with the colourful walls. It also comes with a curved pillow to help them lift up and strengthen muscles
Cons:
* The only con I found is that I don’t trust attaching the musical elephant toy to the cross-section – it’s very heavy and I just can’t cope with the idea of it falling on my girl
So overall, this is just the best toy ever. I can’t fault it really – the con is just a trust thing on my part and it’s equally as fun being on the floor with her. I didn’t think I’d consider spending this much on a play gym but with the interchangeable walls, the balls and all the accessories including interactive musical play, they’ve thought of everything for development and sensory stimulation so I would definitely say it’s worth the sale price. Absolutely love it and would recommend it to new parents wholeheartedly – especially the jungle design for the bright colours.

This Groovin’ Kicks Piano & Drum Kick Gym by Bright Starts has got my baby girl purring, he loves reaching for the monkey placards and the dangling parrot. Now that she has learnt how to interact with the playmat via her foot pressing on the piano keys or the multicoloured drum pads, because of this she is constantly smiling.
Everything about this mat is well thought out, including the colour scheme and the build quality. There are 90 songs and phrase to interact with, not to mention the 3 language selections.
You can either use it as back facing or front-facing so the mat will grow with your child making more value for money.
Overall a very good play mat.

I ordered this baby activity gym and ball set for my sister’s baby Mia.
Arrived in well presented, good size but light box.
Rainbow Tropics design is perfect for a baby girl, bright pink colour enhance with bright coloured rainbows, elephants, birds and clouds around the edges with bright circles and smaller rainbows on center square of the mat. So many different colours and shapes to keep baby stimulated.
5 ways to set up, but my sister used as activity gym and play, when she is feeling energetic she clips up the sides of the mat and introduces the 40 different coloured balls.
Mia loves this activity set and ball pit, she will sit there content throwing every single ball out of the pit , when balls are not in use they can be stored in zip bag provided.
Activity gym is really well made, mat is soft and well cushion and arches are strong and robust. There are 7 detachable different toys hanging from above, that can be hit or played with.
At the center of the arches is a jolly electronic elephant that lights up as well as playing children melodies.
Overall, this is a brilliant activity gym and ball pit. Keeps Mia occupied for hours, there are so many different activities to keep her entertained.

Great fu
I like this and it converts from an activity gym to a ball pit with a few folds and ties. The material is of great quality, nice sized, and folds away so it’s nice and compact. It is very easy to assemble, did not need to look at instructions. Lovely child-friendly patterns. My child has had lots of fun playing in the pit with the balls.
Tried it with my nephew and he loves the mat, lots of stimulating toys that come with it. Great for tummy time. We like the music melodies. He loves the elephant, the lights, and the mirror. The toys can be removed so added to a pushchair or car seat too.
It is lightweight and can be stored away without taking too much space. Just don’t get it too dirty as I don’t think you could wash it.
Surprisingly portable for such an awesome baby gym
This is a really good baby gym, I thought it might be a little large but it’s not bad at all, very easy to take visiting with baby, even comes with a nice carry bag, it seems very well made and is pretty easy to wipe down, putting it up takes seconds not minutes and you even gets the balls included, all in all, I’ve been really impressed by this baby gym, I absolutely love it, top marks all round.
Great multi use baby item
This bright start item is excellent- it has different uses which mean that it can be used from birth right through to probably around 18 months, perhaps even more (we’re not quite there yet). As well as being a baby play mat, the sides can be put up so it can be used as a ball pit. The set comes with 40 balls, and also a bag to store these in. It is really nicely made and designed and it all feels good quality. At first I thought it was quite an expensive item but when you think how much longer it can be used vs a standard baby playmate I would say it is worth it.
The arch above the baby mat has lots of little toys that can be taken off, and also an elephant that has lights and sounds. I also like to be able to put the sides up on the mat as it means that it keeps baby a little safer and prevents from shuffling off the mat. Beautiful colours and patterns.

I gave it to one of my four-month-old niece’s favorite products-I love the way it transforms and grows. The items are also all in the factory, and the hanging items include mirrors for newborns to grab and many balls for ball pits. Because the baby likes to look at the color at the bottom. When lying on her back, she was very excited to grasp the hanging toy.

So good I bought it twice!
I have bought two of these over the past 3 years for each of my grandchildren. They absolutely love them. It has appealed the in different ways at different stages of development. I don’t know what it is about the animal faces but both have been fascinated by them. Some of their first gurgles and coos have been to the animal faces. The tummy time support helped them engage in another way with the animals and all the touch and feel mats. All the plastic rings can be sterilised needless to say they were soon going in the little ones mouths. My first grandson still loves using the mat as a ball pit and still plays with the elephant music and sound toy so no ‘pass it down here’. You can tell I’m a fan and think this product is worth every penny. That’s why I have bought it twice!

We’re still in baby tummy time mode so have all sides down flat, with lots of toys attached keeping them entertained, but am exited to grow and use it more as a ball pit. So versatile and definitely designed to grow with baby.
The elephant is my favourite part! I’ve taken a video to run through his various sounds.
– ‘melody mode’ plays continuous music and lights for 20 mins
– ‘nature mode’ plays calming sounds for 20 mins
-‘baby mode’ plays a short tune when baby interacts (whacks) it.
I misread the listing slightly and thought the carry case was for the whole mat to pack away into but this is just for balls with a small opening at the top to pop them in. Would have been handy to have a case to pack the whole thing into for taking to grandparents etc, but other than that is perfect!

I love the design, the Rainbow Tropics is bright and colourful, featuring rainbows and elephants – this is really cute. Eye catching designs to keep baby entertained.
I love the fact that this can be used as a mat but you can also clip the sides up and make it a ball pit, the multi-use design is great. It comes with 40 balls in total. There are lots of hanging toys and attachments to play with, the elephant at the top plays music. The activity gym feels well made and durable, it’s great quality. Soft material so can easily be folded up and stored away.
The detachable toys are a great feature – there are 7 in total such as rattle and a mirror toy.

Clever multifunctional baby activity centre
This whole thing only weighs around a kilo, and packs down small enough to fit into a shopping bag, but the design is so clever that it has loads of play value:
Tie the corners of the mat up and put the 40 included balls in, and it’s a ball pit.
Add all the toys to the frame – there is a plentiful selection included – and it’s a baby gym.
Untie the corners – and it’s a playmat.
Remove the frame – and it’s a changing mat.
Everything you need is included, and it’s simplicity itself to change it from one function to the other.
However what I like most about this is it’s portability. It’s very light and compact, and if you were going to another house for the day, this would be plenty of entertainment for baby.

Great activity mat for 4 months +
As described with very quick delivery. Really good activity mat, my son loves it at 4 months just starting to grab at things, also will cater for him as he gets older with the balls etc. The hanging toys are a little high so I put them on double hooks for now but plenty of areas in the mat to attach them. Detachable music and light elephant is great to encourage movement but is hard plastic so best not to let it swing on a hook. Easy to clean not overly padded but enough for carpeted areas. Very good quality for the money and the fact it will grow with them.

Easy to assemble and clean. Lots of things to hang up. The little elephant is great too, he lights up and has various tunes. My daughter loves it. However the material is a little slippy for tummy time, but i just pop down a blanket and its fine. The mat itself isnt very thick. But i have put it on a rug and its perfect.
Fabulous and versatile baby activity ma
We bought this more than 2 years ago for our first grandchild. It is now being used by our second grandchild and has stood the test of time very well. It is easy to clean and the numerous loops are great for attaching either the toys that come with it or other ones we already had. When I decided to buy a play mat for my niece’s baby I bought her the same one because we have been so pleased with it ourselves. It is versatile, sturdy, colourful and a fabulous all round baby activity mat.
Better than I expected!
Love this product! It turned out better than I expected. My little one has enjoyed it since he was 4 weeks old. It was very easy to assemble, took maybe 5 minutes. The variety of toys are great that comes with it. They all make different noises and there’s even one that lights up and plays music (batteries not included but it just takes 3 AA). I also like how you can move the toys around in different areas and change them. The baby friendly toy mirror and head pillow is a nice touch. But my favorite part was the reusable cute Lion bag the balls come in. I had expected the balls to come in one of those disposable plastic bags and have to find something to keep them in so to my surprise they came nicely packed in their own bag! (It’s the little things)
Brilliant baby gym
This is perfect for your baby from when they are born. They have varies toys to play with and plenty of room to move about. I especially love the ball pit capability of this baby gym. My baby has already got her favourite toy and always picks that one to play with. It’s very easy to clean which makes life very easy. It takes only a couple of minutes to set up, very easy.
This one is the best choice!
My granddaughter was given one of these, but I’d already chosen it as a gift for close family members. It’s a very versatile item. Babies are happy and safe on the playmat, entertained by the music and lights, as well as having lots of things to look at. Later, they’re encouraged to swipe at the animals, and they’re happy to roll over and move about in it. Even later still, when they’re sitting up, it can be filled with the safe and brightly coloured balls and it has yet another incarnation. It’s got quite a long life—a good 18 months-2 years. Recently given again as yet another gift, it’s been very well received. Highly recommended.

I wasn’t expecting that my daughter would love this matt that much. Omg, she loves lying inside. We started using this a little bit early (1months) but each day she started to interact the toys and images inside. She is now 2.5 months and she can’t spend a day without dancing with her elephant. At night she loves the lights and keep smiling to the elephant. Small cushion is very helpful for tummy time. The matt itself is soft and durable, I also washed it with low temperature hand wash cycle and had no problems.
Excellent ma
We are very pleased with this mat – it’s very colourful and provides a lot of entertainment for our little one. The mat is maybe a tiny bit thin for the laminate/wooden floor – although it didn’t seem to disturb our child, we still put a towel underneath to provide extra softness.
The flashing & singing elephant toy is excellent and became our baby’s best friend very quickly – he enjoys it when he’s quite and the toy works so well to calm him down if he’s frustrated, plus it’s singing non-stop which makes it very convenient for parents as there is no need to constantly switch it on as is the case with many other toys.

I decided to buy this for my 3 month old after loads of research – and what a great decision it was!
My son loves it: he can spend a long time on this, there is loads to keep him busy and each time it seems that a different toy catches his eye. I can hang different toys as well, which makes it more versatile. The elephant is a great hit – it would be good if there was an option to just have the light on without any noise, but in fact the jungle noise at the lowest level is very subtle and quite pleasant for adults too (and the lullabies are tolerable as well..). It keeps him busy and happy while helping his development.
The size of the mat is great. At the moment we keep 3 walls up, and my son spends a lot of time looking at the animals on there, it encourages him to go towards his side and towards rolling over. Similarly, good for tummy time. But I can see how it will be really great open, as a large mat, without the arches when he is a bit older, or as a ball pit.
It is so easy to clean, you just need to wipe it (it has been vomitted on quite a lot) and just soft enough to put on a hard floor, and it is so light that it is just so easy to move from room to room, I just lift it from the arches.
It is not cheap, but I actually think it is great value for money at that price point, as much more versatile than other mats that cost the same or more – especially if we use it when he is a bit older as well.
In short, I love it and I just wish I had decided to buy it a month before I did.
UPDATE 2 years later: we never really used it as a
ball pit, but I am pleased to report it is once again going strong! My second son also loves it. He is less interested in the elephant but more interested in everything else, he oves trying to grab everything he can reach, and is happy spending even more time on it than our first son. Unexpectedly, since we took it out of storage our elder has remembered how much he loved the elephant and it’s on on the nursery tunes non-stop..which we are not too crazy about but it keeps them both busy!
Fabulous play mat!
Where to start!? My baby loves this play mat. Worth every penny. Comes with lots of little dangly toys you attach to the bars over the top. You can lay it out flat and put the sides up to keep baby and the soft plastic balls in which are provided. The little monkey attachment plays sounds which can be changed from calm jungle sounds to play tunes. Only gripe I have with it is that when the baby is sick on it I don’t feel like I can put it in the washing machine to clean it! I’ve had it 4 months; quality is still there but it’s become a little stinky

I have it on carpet which is about 200 years old and therefore not so sort. This definitely gives a nice layer of cushioning that my baby doesn’t find the ground hard. All the little bits and pieces that come with this are excellent, with all the different hanging items.
The singing elephant is also very good. Not so much variety in the tunes so might drive you a bit mad. But then you can switch to rainforest sounds. I also dislike the strong blue light that is used, as am not sure on the safety aspect of it, so try to have it far enough away from my child when it’s on.
Excellent variety in the open mat, closed with the balls, so it will definitely get usage for the 1-9 month period or so.

We use this everyday. He loves it. Toys are great you can put them on carseat or pram too. He also loves the wee disco elephant that flashes lights and plays tunes. I’ve pretty much used it every day since around three weeks. It’s permanently out in the living room. It even stores toys and nappies etc when not in use. Folding up and down sides are a great feature.
The baby will seem a bit bemused by it at first when really young but will love it more everyday as they get older.
He does his tummy time on it now too. I got it on sale and it was worth every penny. Put the sides up and you can eat breakfast etc whilst he plays safely.
My son loves this play gym esp the musical elephant which can be attached to look down at him ( his line of sight) . Got it for him at 5weeks old. He’s now only 11weeks but still mesmerised. Great to use when you have to do something else such as make a phone call etc. He has fallen asleep there too so the mat must be comfy. The links are great too and the number included is ideal. I can lower the toys at the moment so that he can reach them. My only irks with it are that I have to put a travel changing mat down to catch any drool or sick because you wouldn’t want to be putting the whole thing in the wash all the time if at all, and wiping just wouldn’t clean it properly and by spills would probably stain the material. A removable base mat would be a better design in future. But that’s not really a big deal as they grow out of that stage of dribbling and spitting up all the time. The other thing I found a little disappointing was the sturdiness of the walls. When folded up they buckle because of the arch attachments which makes the whole thing look a bit cheap as it looks like it hasn’t been designed properly which is annoying for the price. The walls are not straight like the photos shows. However after a few weeks it doesn’t grate so much and I use it with 3 walls folded down at the moment anyway. It’ll probably annoy me again if I use it for a ball pit in the future. Love the lion ball carry bag as I can see me using it for various other purposes too. Oh also if the designers read these..The musical elephant could do with an even quieter volume button. I’ve put 2 kids gloves over sound vent to make it bearable after it’s been on a few times. This works great because my son can hear it but it doesn’t grate on us as much.
Our 3m old daughter loves this – she’s particularly enthralled by the musical light up elephant! We bought some additional rings to bring the toys lower thanks to another review. The only real downside is the material is not water-resistant so if she brings up any milk whilst she’s lying down it’s just absorbed into the base which isn’t great as you can hardly put it in the washing machine! Shame the manufacturers haven’t considered this, but easily solved by buying a cheap yoga mat to line the bottom. Amazon sells one for 7-8 which is the perfect width for when the sides are up and is also the perfect colour so looks like its part of the playgym!
The activity gym arrived on time and well packaged. It’s very colourful and has lots of props to keep baby engaged. Started keeping my 4 week old in the gym for 5 mins to start with. I have placed a baby changing mat as a base and place baby on the baby changing mat for extra cushioning. Now at 4 months old, it’s a daily routine that my baby plays in the activity gym twice (and if I am lucky thrice) a day. That’s 40 minutes to get the chores done!! As a new parent I really appreciate getting that time.
My baby loves all the props and battles with them with legs and hands. The Elephant, monkey and mirror are a favourite and she loves to have a conversation with them!! Baby loves to look into the mirror and make faces and giggles.
I can’t recommend this activity gym enough especially for new parents to get whatever time they can to get chores or a quick lunch or diner or even some switch off time and not to mention, to see your baby giggling and playing is priceless.

I got this for my baby when she was just under 3 months, the first time I put her in it she rolled over from front to back. She was trying to reach for the toys and trying to grasp. I was amazed as how quickly she was learning new skills!
It’s a great playmat I love the four walls cause I would often leave her in it and go off and do something else knowing she was safe. I stopped using the playmat with the toys dangling down around 6-7 months when she was trying to crawl as she would often just flat down the walls to the mat anyway. She occasionally uses the mat as a ball pit but loses interest quickly.
The quality of the product is good. I have no complaints. The toys that come with it have a good variety and some are still her favourite toys to play with. I would highly recommend this, I wouldn’t really say it’s 5 in 1 I would say there’s probably two stages to the playmat but I think that depends on your baby.
I got this when it was on offer as I wasn’t sure whether it would be worth the full price.
My daughter is 11 weeks old and starting to want to play. She had a different play mat and wasn’t particularly interested in it and actually cried whilst she was lay on it. So I decided to look for a new one.
I came across this and bought it. It arrived and was pretty simple to put together. I placed my daughter on it and she absolutely loved it! She loves the singing elephant, so when we put her back in her bouncer we strap it onto that, too. We put the balls in it and she loves waving her arms about and hitting them. This is particularly good because my daughter has a flat head on her left side (she has had 3 brain operations on the right side of her head so preferred lying on the left side), and with the elephant being straight above her it means that she lies on the back of her head rather than just the left side, which we’ve been trying to encourage her to do with pillows to support her head, but to no avail.
The bottom is also slightly cushioned, where as her other one isn’t.
All in all.. this is a brilliant play mat. And I would definitely have paid the full price for it!
This is a great play gym. I looked at a lot of different ones, considered lots of options, read lots of reviews and in the end I decided to go for this one.
It didn’t disappoint. It comes with lots of toys on it which is great, the cloud rattle has quickly become my daughters favourite toy. We added the spare links (such a great thing to include) and hung it from one of the higher loops. She’s 9 weeks old now and has been hitting it and it’s really helping to develop her motor skills.
The elephant is great and creates a mini baby disco with the music and flashing lights. The different settings are brilliant too.
I love that it folds into a large mat and that you can have the sides up if you wish. We’ve got a Labrador and having 3 of the sides up means she won’t accidentally step on the baby when she jumps up if someone knocks on the door.
Our health visitor was very impressed with it when she saw it at our 6 week visit. She thought it was amazing with all the bits that come with it. She said it’ll be very helpful in baby’s development as there are so moana different things to do on it.
I’m looking forward to when my daughter can sit and play with the balls in it, although I do have visions of her throwing them for the dog!

Very much love this mat. My little boy from birth wouldn’t settle in his other mat as it wasnt stimulating enough. Altho a little pricey for me it was worth it…I can put my 15 week old baby down for little bits at a time. ( i can eat dinner!) Comes with great toys that can be moved positions from a squaker, rattle to a musical/light up elephant. I take the elephant with me everywhere. It has a melody mode, relaxing song or you can put it to touch sensitive which plays the music when your baby kicks or touches it teaching cause and reaction. Very colourful mat and lovely jungle design.
You can lay this mat flat for a big play mat or put the sides up to contain the balls. I have cats and although they are good with my baby it just gives a barrier. Also my baby likes the side up and feels safe enclosed. Comes with a head rest or rest for tummy time ( my little squish hates tummy time and this helps) Great that it will match their age as they get older and turn into a ball pit. (Comes with balls and ball storage bag) easy to wipe down and easy to assemble. I spent alot of time searching for a play mat that would suit my baby and I am a 100% happy with this choice. It has everything he needs, along with safety and entertainment. One happy baby here

My baby boy loves this, and is lying in it gurgling away as I type this. Its a great help when I need to get some washing done or just get 5 minutes to brush my teeth!! It has many uses and can amuse him in many ways as he grows, he is lying down now and sticking his legs in the air kicking the toys and laughing at the musical, light up elephant. We also just had some tummy time on the lovely soft but supportive cushion. Once he can sit up he can play with the toys and no doubt chew on them! I love the idea that this can be a ball pit later too. For what it is, it is too expensive, however the fact I think we will get many years use out of this, makes up for the price and makes it worth it in the end. By the way the music is so cute and funky, not annoying at all!
