    – It charges whilst playing
    – Very high clarity in PCVR
    – Even with charging you get a whopping 2.1gb/s data transfer

5m is PERFECT, I have the wire go through the holes at the top of the back of my chair (racing style gaming chair) so I can 360 spin without the wire tangling up which makes playing VR games a hell of a lot more fun.

I was cautious because of the price because I’ve been let down twice before seeing it advertised as USB 3 when it’s actually USB 2 but for 20 I decided I’ll give this one a chance and I was pleasantly surprised, recommend this to anyone who wants PCVR with their Q2, Pico 4 ad other standalone VR headsets for PCVR.

This is a really long lead.

It fits right round the bed so no need for an extension lead.

Not bag for the price I paid. Does the job nicely.

The TOTU cable isn’t cheap at nearly 33 but it is a very exceptional cable being 16ft long and with excellent braided cabling. It’s a top-end cable for anyone who needs a fast and reliable connection.

The cable really does feel like it’s ready for serious work. The cable part is quite thick but still remains sufficiently flexible (but it must be said that the cable isn’t as flexible as I would prefer) and the braiding gives it a nice feel and certainly looks good.

At one end of the cable there’s a USB-C plug mounted at a right-angle to the cable and this is deal for modern laptops because it will lie a bit flatter against the edge of the laptop. The other end of the cable has a standard large USB plug, but is is a 3.2 type. Also included with the cable is a USB plug adapter that has a female USB to male USB-C configuration.

I tried the cable in a few scenarios and the cable performed well. When I connected my Sony RX100 VII camera I used a USB-C to MicroUSB as the camera only had a MicroUSB output.

As mentioned above, this isn’t a very cheap cable but when you get to the lengths over 10ft then it often pays to have a better quality cable as it should be less likely to fail or corrupt data, but more importantly it will ensure the data travels at high speed over the distance.

The cable can be used for charging and data transmission. It’s only because of the price that I am giving the cable a 4 Star rating.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very sturdy USB 3.2 to USB-C cable, if you need a long, strong fast cable then this could be it.

So the description states this is a:-
Cable for oculus quest 2 link. TOTU 16ft USB 3.2 gen 1 to type C link cable compatible for oculus quest. High speed data transfer and fast charging for VR oculus quest headset and gaming PC.

We recently got a new l oculus quest 2 and was surprised with the short lead that comes with it.
Also how fast the battery ran out, so this was a life saver that they were all able to play while still plugged in because the cable is 3m long.

The cable is Corded wrapped so it adds that extra protection to the cable within, which is what I like meaning hopefully it will last longer than a plain one.

The price at the time of this review is 32.99 for 5 meter length, which works out to be 6.60 a meter. Is a high price as its double the price of my other one. But I think you’re paying for quality because it is braided and to me that gives the extra protection to the cable within. Also the 90 angled connection.

It is being used daily and has not let us down yet.

    So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

This wire is a little over 5 metres long and is very robust with a woven casing to help protect the wire inside. I don’t currently have a computer to link to, so cannot speak of the speed when connected via this wire. I can however say that its a fast charge cable that’s strong and is a tight fit to the USB port on the quest 2. For example, it’s very unlikely to get pulled out if you’re playing a game like beat saber and catch the wire. Your arm would just slide off. I would definitely recommend this wire for charging and charging as you play.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong, tight fit so won’t fall out.

This is a fantastic quality USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) 5m cable that’s well-made and heavy duty, perfectly suited to VR (Oculus Quest etc), allowing you more than ample length to move around freely! This is perfect for general use also, including device charging / data transfer etc; although generally a USB cable of 2-3m will mostly suit those sort of needs. Occasionally though, you do need one that is considerably longer, not just for VR, but possibly for a peripheral that’s positioned away from the main PC, or even USB charging from a socket outlet that might be behind a cupboard etc. This being USB 3.2 Gen 1, means it supports fast data transfer (5.0Gb/s).

This USB 3.0 (A to C) cable has a right angle C connector, and is very versatile, allowing good flexibility of movement when using with a VR headset. It has the added bonus of including an A to C adaptor, providing even more flexibility of use.

This cable is really robust, with strong braided outer sheath, strong connectors, and extended, flexible protective collars to help prevent fraying / strain at ends.

Overall, this is a top quality, versatile, USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable, that’s great all-round. It is rather pricey, but is well-made.

I hope that you have found this review to be helpful.

    Review from my husband:

Now, this is a cable worth talking about after others, I’ve had. This worked straight away and has an amazing charge rate literally an hour and fully charged, no connection issues, pc found the headset straight away, so we’re all good. If you need to link to a PC, buy this, it’s a good price and quality feel. 5/5

This is a good quality replacement cable for the Oculus Quest 2.

At 16ft/5M, it’s a good length and has a braided cable which gives it a bit more durability.

It comes with a USB-A to USB-C adapter and the cable can be used to charge and transfer data.

All in all, it’s a good replacement cable, but on the expensive side at 29.99, which was the price at time of writing.

I hope you found this review helpful.

This is a brilliant cable that’s strong and durable. It feels secure when connected and stays in firm.
The 5m cable is perfect as you don’t feel restricted and are able to move freely. There are cheaper out there but if you spend the little extra in a decent cable you won’t be buying them multiple times.

Well made and good looking cable. The cable itself feels like a quality heavy flex. While not a great test, I did ‘quick’ charge my phone with a good charger, even with it’s 5m length. Probably not for day2day use, unless you sit across the room from your charger, but great for outdoors with the plug inside and you on a deckchair in the sun.

Great high quality Oculus cable with braided cord and a nice long length of 16ft.

Works great and the price is right.

    High Quality and Affordable Price.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++

Before I got this cable and 2 others I was using a Huawei AX3 WIFI 6 router via airlink/virtual desktop, but was getting micro stutters that were ruining games like beat saber etc. Now with the cable everything is smooth.
Start the oculus quest app, plug in the cable or switch on the quest 2; if you are leaving it plugged in you should get a message in the headset asking to allow access to data. Choose deny, it should then ask to enable oculus link to which you allow.
I ran the cable test (go to oculus app, devices, quest 2 and touch, USB test) and got 2.4gbs.
The battery still drains while you are using the quest but I get around 6-7 hours instead of the usual 2 when using the headset alone.
The cable feels very good quality, braided and a little stiff (which I like as it stays away from my face and body if I bend it outwards a little). It comes with a USB A to USB C adapter and a Velcro cable tie, which I have wrapped around my head strap to help support the cable weight.
Out of the 3 link cables I have, this is the best. It is a great length and works perfect for me.
The only negative I can think of is that it’s a bit expensive compared to similar cables.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works great on my quest 2

High quality USB cable. 16ft / 5m length, ideal for Oculus Quest 2, but can be used for any other USB purposes too.

Has a USB-A connector on one end and a USB-C connector on the other, with a 90-degree angle. Also comes with an adapter so you can make it USB-C on both ends if required.

Easy-to-use, plug and play. Seems like a well-made cable, we experienced no issues with it. It’s tough and durable.

Long, well-made braided cable with a right-angle connector and USB-A to USB-C, this is perfect for the Panasonic S1, S1R and S1H cameras when working with an older Macbook Pro or similar computer for tethered shooting.

The right angle connector for USB-C reduces risk of leverage on the camera’s port, and also aims the cable down and out of the way. The cable itself is braided and flexible enough to move freely around without snagging or dragging, and the length of it would allow handheld portraiture or larger studio work. It transfers enough power from the computer to run the camera and charge both the grip and body battery, and has no problem delivering lag-free live view, control and image transfer even with larger files.

I have no doubt this would work well for its intended use, but as a studio-grade tethering cable for digital photography it’s a bargain.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for tethering Panasonic S1 and similar cameras to Mac/PC

I ordered this USB-A to USB-C cable to use as a link cable for my Oculus Quest 2. Included with the cable you get USB-A female to USB-C male adapter which is a nice extra.

The cable is very high quality and sturdy. There are strong connectors on each end and a secure connection between the connecters and the wire, this means that even when you are moving around a lot and often, I don’t think it is likely to break and will last a long time.

The length of the cable is very long at 5m which means you have plenty of slack to be able to comfortably be able to walk around without having to worry that you are going to pull your PC over.

On the USB-C end of the cable, there is a 90 degree angle. This along with the sturdy cable and long length means that it does a good job of keeping the cable away from your face. You can use the 90 degree angle to make the cable point out of the back of the oculus instead of out the side and the sturdiness keeps the cable in the air for a little while so it doesn’t get annoying on your shoulder.

Overall, if you are looking for a good quality cable for Oculus Quest 2 or any other reason you need a long USB-C cable, this is a good option although it is a little expensive at 29.99 when writing and you can get cables just as good for cheaper.

No complaints. With the cable being braided, makes it a very durable cable. The manufacturer has opted for a 90 angle for the USB-C end which prevents stress on the port.

No point getting the official cable when this one does the same job at a lower cost.

A very nice long USB C cable that can be used for either charging phones, data transfering, or as the main listing focuses on, this can be used for the Quest 2.
Connection is stable, and the Oculus App accepts this cable as being fast enough.
Both ends are secure and so far looks durable.
    Recommended.

This TOTU USB 3.2 Gen1 A USB A to USB-C cable lets you connect your Oculus Quest2 to your computer, TV and projector.

The cable has a length of 5 meters and has a 90-degree angle design that prevents the cords from bending. It is covered with tinned copper and PVC wire to keep it from heating and keep your devices from any harm and unsafe conditions. It is high-quality, super durable and can withstand bending.

Furthermore, this cable is not only designed for Oculus Quest, you can also use this to charge your device and transfer files. It is compatible with devices with most devices can be also used to extend the connection of USB device interfaces of HD cameras, virtual reality devices, HiFi amp speakers, mobile hard drives, WIFI and other USB-C compatible devices.

I must say that this cable is the perfect length especially if used for VR devices like Oculus Quest. With its length, I can freely move without worrying the cable will be disconnected. As for the quality, I am very impressed since the cable itself is thick and feels durable. It is also plug and play so I don’t have to install any driver or software for this to work.

For my overall thoughts, I am very satisfied with this USB-C cable. It is well priced and has a very impressive quality.

For 1/3 the price, I would say that this is definitely something to look into. The cable is 16ft which is 5m and this is exactly alike to the original going for around 90 quid. The cable itself feels like it made from high quality fibre cable and when playing rift games, I didn’t experience any latency issues as well. The connection worked well and the cable was long enough for me to play around with. Overall, great cable.
