More than happy with the quality and fit of theses pants – I’m tall 6′ 7″ / 120 KG – with 40 inch waist and the size (3 XL) are a perfect fit.
Great fabric and zips with deep pockets.

Quality, comfort & great fi
Having been searching for a quality pair of tracksuit bottoms to wear around the house and outside l finally hit the jackpot. It hard to a find a decent pair especially ones with zip pockets not many around. OK they are pricey side however as the saying goes say you get what you pay for.
If you are looking decent pair of tracksuits bottoms you won’t go wrong in my opinion.

Longer leg and better fi
Bought Canterbury leisure wear for years but in recent years noticed there is now a small difference in size proportions, particularly in the leg length. Pleased this version fits 34″ leg
Stylish, warm and practical
Bought these to warm up before matches, the long zips on the legs allows for easy removal whilst keeping shin pads and boots on. Now i use them to stay warm whilst lounging on the sofa!!
Premium feel trousers
The leg zips are really long making getting in and out very easy, no matter what you have on your feet. The material is attractive and sturdy and the overall feel of the trousers is that of a premium garment. They should last well

This is a very different pant from the “Ugly” (which I reviewed negatively but counts as same item as this for some reason).
These are time tested classics. Perfect going to and from sport or exercise.

Quality is very good. Unfortunately, the sizing is quite unusual. I am 183cm, 104kg, and purchased the XL. My main issue was the leg length. They were about 2 or 3″ too long.
Comfy and fit well
Not my first time buying these and I’m sure not the last. They are comfy and you can actually fit your legs in them. No idea why other manufacturers think people all have matchstick legs! They zip all the way to the hip in case you need to take them off with your trainers/boots on.
PERFECT!!
My son has never been in love with a pair of trousers until he bought these. They are comfortable and give a great athletic look. He has bought a second pair too so now owns navy and black – I’m impressed.
Extremely comfortable
My son plays a lot of sport and needs something that’s practical to wear, these tick all the boxes, he loves them that much my husband bought a pair too. The wash really well and are in their words extremely comfortable.
Very comfortable
Good quality bottoms that are very comfortable. They definitely have a sporty look and would be practical to wear before, during or after sports thanks to the long zip. Due to changes in my lifestyle I haven’t worn them for sports but instead mostly for everyday wear for which they are great. The fabric is super soft and the stretchy waist makes them super comfortable and perfect for my growing appetite. Bought this pair to replace a older pair which were becoming too tight, I’m sure this won’t be the last pair I buy either as I practically live in them!
Yet another pair of Canterbury uglies
I’ve lost count of the number of pairs of these we have bought. The whole family wears them for one sport or another. Easy to get on and off without removing ones shoes thanks to the long zips in the legs, comfortable and warm. I just hope that Canterbury continues to make them.
Smart kit!
The full length zips on the sides of the legs make them incredibly easy to get on and off whatever your footwear – even in spikes and rugby boots! So great as stadium pants – and smart as casual wear too.
Cool in summer (even airy with the zips open) – but the lining keeps them warm even in the coldest winter rain.
Lasting Quality!
My last pair of these had over 10 years of use and still looked as good as new. Ripped a seam and after a few repairs decided to buy a new pair. Navy this time, had black before. Very smart and comfortable, double layered. My son has a pair for rugby. The fit has changed slighted more fitted in the leg but roomy enough. Hopefully this pair will last another 10 years!!
20 quid bargai
Bargain, got them for 20 quid and got 4XL I am a 42/34 in jeans or chino, 6 ft 5 and 19 St. For really well, loose and wear shorts under them easily, good length as well, love the zip pockets
Just the job
I will be using an orthopaedic boot for the next couple of months as a ruptured Achilles tendon heals. Faced with the prospect of having to cut the seams of various pairs of trousers so that I could put them on without having first to remove the boot, I looked for a suitable alternative. These jogging bottoms were the only ones I could find that fitted the bill. Not only that they are well made and extremely comfortable.
Good value
I’m 5’8′, 32′ waist and medium fit me fine although the leg as noted in other reviews is on the long side. The full leg zip was vital for me as purchased due to an Achilles tendon rupture and needed the freedom to pull on over first cast then support boot. This is done with no problems at all. I will continue to wear these after my Achilles tendon rupture is repaired as they are a very comfortable fit. I’ve always been satisfied whenever I’ve purchased a Canterbury product and I’ve no need to change my mind with these stadium pants.
Still the best .... but what happened to the sizing???
Great insulated, high quality ‘stadium pants’ I’ve been wearing for two decades now, but the sizing has been changed. I can still get into a pair of old scruffy size XL ones I have, but in new ones I need a 3XL …. the 2XL was too tight!
I have put a little on it’s true, but the XL pair still fit……..
I’m a 5’8” woman and I normally wear a small in womens sport brands. I bought a mens small, and they have a perfect relaxed fit. The inside lining is cotton from the waist to the knee, and then polyester from the knee down. This keeps the pants warm but very breathable, and they’re also quiet - no swishing noise when you walk. They’re my default for wearing to/from the gym, out for errands, or lounging around the house. Glad to see Canterbury quality has remained high!

Excellent quality, material looks and feels really well finished. Even down to the zips on the side, really impressed with the overall quality of these bottoms. I love the funky pattern inside as well! (does not get shown in the pictures, so added my own).
The only reason I didn’t give this product a 5-star was because the legs were a little bit too long. The size chart doesn’t really indicate any leg sizes either. I’m around 180cm tall, and even the XS legs were slightly too long.
Other than that, I think overall this is a really well made pair of Uglies, that do exactly what it says on the tin, and more! Very pleased, as always with Canterbury products.

Excellent quality again as usual from Canterbury New Zealand. As mentioned by another reviewer, I have also bought various jackets, tracksuit bottoms and sweatshirts from Canterbury New Zealand over the years, and my kit has also lasted (with regular use) at least 10 years before needing to be replaced. Also, as far as size/fit is concerned, I am a 5′ 10 tall man with a 32″ waist and 32″ inside leg and my recent purchase of the Medium size Uglies Tracksuit bottoms fits perfectly. Not too loose or too tight around the waist and a perfect length (not too short or too long in the leg). I have also bought other brands over the years like Nike etc. and nothing really comes close to the quality of Canterbury New Zealand. I can’t rate their products highly enough. Incidentally, I am not being paid to review this product. I am just a very impressed customer of their products long lasting durability and quality.
Excellent (as not designed for hobbits!)
These track bottoms are good quality and supremely practical thanks to the extra long zip on each leg (easy to remove with shoes/boots on). BEST OF ALL THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR HOBBITS AND ARE A GOOD LENGTH (I’m 6ft with a 30 inch waist and size Small fitted perfectly)!
