I bought this for my nephew who is scared of noisy vacuum cleaners and runs away whenever we get the vacuum cleaner out but when we gave him this, although he was wary at first, he loves turning it on and pretending to hoover alongside us.
Brought for my nieces birthday and was shocked at how realistic it was. Now she can hoover up like her mommy with her very own little version instead of trying to steal the real one.

Oh my! This turned out to be the gift hit of the year for our toddler grandson! He was already a huge fan of the family Dyson so this instantly became his favourite birthday present. Excellent toy. Incredibly detailed with appropriate level of sound and visual effects. Highly recommend.
Great little toy for the little one. My little one loved vacuum cleaners from being a baby so this was a must for me. He loved it from before he could walk but it’s best enjoyed when they are able to walk. Now he loves playing with it while mummy vacuums and copying it all. Great that has the little beads that spin making it look and feel like the real thing. The wheels that lock in upright position could of been a bit more sturdier as will not stay upright on its own and keeps falling. Just for that reason I have dropped a star. The vacuum will also sweep up some light materials in its little sucker compartment. Battery seems to last for ages but does not come supplied. Very happy with this.
Bought this for my 18 month old at Christmas, he loves pretending to hoover up. The suction is rubbish on it although it shows it picking things up. Doesn’t pick anything up in this instance
This is a much loved and enjoyed product by my nephew who’s 18months. He loves to use it, especially when I hoover he runs to get his Dyson, then we hoover together. Very cute indeed. Battery seems to last ages too. Thank you

My little boy loves hoovering alongside Mummy and this is a great wee toy. The suction on it is weak so doesn’t actually lift anything up and I’ve still no clue how to empty it. There beads that swirl when in use which is a nice touch and it withstands being thrown about by a toddler.
Bought this for my Niece for Christmas as I though it would be good to start them young!!
That’s a joke btw.. she asked for a hoover and this was perfect, although it can actually suck up bits however if you have thick carpets it won’t fully work.

Suction power is comically one of the star ratings for this child’s toy.
Yes it does pick up the odd piece of dust but kind of glad it’s only a 1 star on suction as a child’s toy, come on Amazon, change this to something less ridiculous like toy safety.
Got for my 1yr old daughter who really loves following mom around the house with it, fun toy and only negative I have is that after a couple of days of being perfect it now won’t stay standing up when put away unless it is leaned against a wall.

Love this hoover mostly because it has 2 setting a normal suction mode and a quieter bead blower mode which is much softer and you can hear and see the beads blowing about inside, I don’t care that it’s not great suction it’s just for pretend play and helots my son with Autism he loves the sound of the motor and watching it spin, yes it comes in a brown box but just screen shot the picture I provided, print it out and stick it o
When I received the bashed carboard box with Casden on And my name and address I roughly opened it thinking there would be another coloured box with pictures on with the product in. But as soon as I ripped open the rough cardboard box I found the actual toy.
If it was just a normal gift I wouldn’t have been bothered but if you are buying it as a special xmas gift or gifting it to someone other than family please be aware of the poor packaging. I’ve removed a star for this as people should be made aware when buying that there will not be a product gift box for this and that the transport box may be damaged. This is especially important as we’re heading up to the christmas period with more and more people buying to ‘gift’.
It does take size C batteries which are quite large and more expensive and like a lot of toys are not supplied with them, but if your child does not have the suction funvtion on abd only the balls that will save bsttety life, otherwise try and get a supply from a discount store as the litte person that this is going to is going to love it and want it on all the time.
As for size my grandson is in a 3-4 clothes and I think it’ll be the perfect size for him. Whether it’ll still be the right hight this time next year,well who knows. Whether its in one piece still when his 4 year old brother gets his hands on it as well I do not know!. But I know the joy this will give him will put a smile on everyones faces.
Highly highly recommended. Sort the packaging out and perhaps a few free batteries and id give 10 stars out of 5.

Makes a hoover sound, it swirls around like a real and even has a suction part to pick up little bits of dust!
The beads that were in the middle part are no longer there as they fell out after my son bashed it into a wall.

My little boy is OBSESSED with vacuuming. So this is a great toy! Love the realistic sounds… love that you can turn off the “main” vacuuming sound and just have the little spinning bit at the front on. My only gripe is that after only a month, all the little bits no longer spin round – they are stuck by static to the sides of the clear cylinder. Little boy doesn’t seem to mind though.
This is a wonderful product, our son is nearly 2, and he’s very tall for his age, so was worried it would be too small, but it’s just perfect. He would scream to help anytime we hoovered before, he got this for Christmas and everytime we hoover instead of fighting for ours, he grabs his and joins in, loads of fun. It makes him so happy. It sound like a hoover too and he quickly got the hang of how to turn the cylinder on as well as the suction. Can’t really comment on the suction as have just been focused on watching him have so much fun. Highly recommend this.
Edit… Unfortunately the item broke quite easily 3 weeks after receiving it. My husband was making it stand up and it just snapped.
There is a fairly stiff (read not easy for a baby to use) button on the back which turns on a moderately loud noise to emulate the real hoover and a different switch (where the real hoovers cylinder release would be) that turns on a quieter sound and makes the “dirt” (plastic beads) spin around within the cylinder.
The fact that there is a different switch for the louder sound and that it is harder to find and use is a nice touch for parents that is severely lacking on most toys.
Considering this is made of plastic throughout it is quite resilient with my (rather large) 16 month old standing on the handle repeatedly with no obvious signs of damage.
It is fairly tall and my (again; rather large) 16 month old has to hold it down towards the floor to push it as he’s too short to stand over it so I’d probably not recommend it for children under 2.
That being said he loves it and anything that gets him in the habit of cleaning early is worth the money in my book.
It’s very weak and it’s purely luck if you actually vacuum anything up. There’s a very small cartridge to empty, if you’ve been lucky enough to collect any bits, and the rear wheels can help to stand it up on its own, so long as they spring down. I usually hold it up straight and tap it down onto the floor so they spring into place.
I brought this toy for my 2 and a half year old as he kept playing with my Dyson, the hope was that he would play with this and leave the reel thing alone as a real Dyson makes an expensive toy.
Well he loves this toy, it looks just like our real one, it’s also just the right height and light weight. The beads spin around which he thinks is great as it gives the impression that he is really cleaning up. It also sucks up dust into a little compartment in the back.
The only annoying thing about it is that for the deeper hovering noise that it makes you have to hold it just at the right angle or you only have the noise of the beads spinning. Not that my toddler minds this he thinks it is great just as it is and has not stopped playing with it since it arrived yesterday.
I would recommend this to anyone who would like to prolong the life of there vacuum cleaner bye giving there little ones this to play with. This is an all round great toy which allows little ones to have fun and fell like they are helping mum.
