Easy to set up and use. The digital timer is a game changer to ensure they both open at the same time ( I bought two) so my dominant puss does not eat his gentle brother’s food. Highly recommended
The three bowl feeder is great. It’s digital so the cat can’t break into it. She managed to figure out the two bowl feeder, she scratched at the timer until it turned and opened. The three bowl one is easier to clean, you just take out the whole bowl part.
Bought so I could make sure my kitten had his meals when I was at the office, or out with friends. He’s taken to it quite well, and it’s easy to assemble and clean. I love that it comes with an ice pack to keep wet food chilled/cool.
This item is perfect for feeding your cat at times you can’t be there for short periods . Like me working awkward shifts. It has a ice pack that fits under the food tray so helps to keep the food fresh. And is very reliable so far. Also it is good value compared to similar items
This is a great cat feeder. We use it for short weekends away, and it works just as we had hoped. In the ideal world, we would like one that has more compartments and can be set for more than 48hrs so we could stretch it to 3/4 days. I like the clockwork timers as I feel that they are more reliable and easier to set than electronic ones.
The cat used to wake up the household at 5 am in the morning to be fed. Now he gets his late night and morning meals delivered by this marvellous gadget, and I get all of my zzz’s.
I have three large Maine Coon troublemakers that have appetites comparable to very hungry dogs. Instead of placing them in kennels for New Year’s Eve, I opted for a more considerate approach to avoid their potential unhappiness and the havoc they might wreak in an unfamiliar environment.
I purchased two of these special feeders, in addition to the Cat-Mate circular feeders. These proved to be a great solution, allowing me to set them for 48 hours, unlike the circular feeders that only last 12 hours. The feeders worked perfectly, and my boys were content, enjoying their meals at their usual times. It seemed like they didn’t even notice our absence overnight!
Worth every penny, I use it for my diabetic cat as she has to be fed at specific times of the day and analogue timers are not as accurate. Easy to set up
No real negatives it does what it says it will do. My cat attempted to get into each compartment as she could smell the food but thankfully didn’t manage it although the item got pushed around a bit in the process.
They’re strong, the timers work OK, you can remove the bowls and put in dishwasher. There are freezer packs to keep cool in Summer. The cats seemed happy – they didn’t lynch us after we returned home long after brekkie time, after a night away! So we have our freedom back for short breaks in their routine
Fairly easy to set up once you get the hang of it. The only gripe is that because it does sit a bit higher off the floor due to the ice pack, then my cat has had a bit of difficulty in reaching the far corners of the feeder to retrieve wet food from.
The timer function is great, and my cat got on well with it. However the ice pack compartment is tiny, so rather than bothering with it, I’d suggest that you chill/ freeze the food prior to filling instead.
Works as expected! Easy to use. Quiet, sounds like a small clock. Seems fairly durable but I wouldn’t want to drop it. The lids open nicely.

Manual dial means timings are not precise, but near enough. If you have hard floors invest in a rubber mat otherwise your cat may scoot it all round the room!
So far so good. The timers are simple 48 hour clockwork, so operation couldn’t be simpler, just close the lid and rotate the dial. Being simple to operate means it’s easy for friends to be shown how to use it when we’re away on holiday. There’s none of the hassle of LED displays and multiple buttons
This is such a great product, especially when I have to go to work. I use it for my kittens wet food so they can be fed when I’m in the office. The little ice pack keeps it fresh and the trays are large enough to fit more than a packet in at a time. A must have for pet owners.
This cat feeder is simple and works well. I have an older version which has lasted 30+ years and this one has a similar build quality. I got it to supplement the other feeder as we have two young cats. I have used it four times and so far is reliable and opens up on time.

I have used this device twice for wet food when we have gone away. It seems to keep the food nice and fresh when you use the ice pack.
The time allows you to set an opening time anything up to 48 hours later. It works without any particular problem and is easy to use (just adjust the dial for the amount of hours you want it to delay opening for). You can set a different timer for each bowl which has been a godsend for overnight trips
The height of the bowl is perfect for our average sized cat, it comes with feet if you want to prop it up higher. The only thing i would say is the individual cat bowls are not made of the thickest plastic but they seem durable enough for what they are.
Overall i would say i am very impressed with this product. I would recommend it to anyone who needs an automatic cat feeder. We have used this specifically for when we are away as opposed to daily feed but i’m sure that would work fine to.
Given there are many more expensive models on the market i think this product is good value for money and does everything we need it to.
Only downside is that the timer (a basic clock mechanism) keeps running so that if you put it in a drawer and don’t use it for a few days the lids pop open inside the drawer which can make it awkward to get out! Could do with an off switch rather than having to keep taking the batteries out.
These work fairly well, although as the timing is done through turning a knob, it’s not super accurate so not really possible to time it so that two go off at the same time for two cats. Also there is no off switch so once the battery is in it won’t stop ticking unless you take it out – which is quite annoying. But it’s not particularly expensive so I’ve given four rather than three stars.
What I’d really like is a feeder that both used microchips and timer, so I can feed my two cats on a timer without worrying the greedy one will eat everything
