Good entertainment priced fairly in the black Friday sale. Made well. Easy to put together and take apart. Simply press the plastic on the base to release the tracks to avoid injury. Putting together just put a piece in the floor and press other bit into it. Fast flowing ball. Cat seems to like it so all good.

Easily the best cat toy we have got, endless playtime for any cat especially energetic kittens that need to use their energy. We weren’t sure as some toys are very light and can be flipped over, sturdy enough that he can’t knock it over.

    Really impressed and highly recommend

I have a pretty lazy 4 month old kitten and she watches this for ages, I have to kind of roll the ball as she doesn’t have enough power to get it round. She will play with it too but has a short attention span so I have to initiate play with it, probably best for older cats so you don’t have to be involved but she still enjoys it!

worth a buy and cheaper on here than highstreet shops. my first kitten loved it and happily played solo so dont think you need two cats for them to enjoy this. the wee ball leds do wear out from use tho. i havent attempted to dismantle it to replace the battery yet.

Great game for my cat, he absolutely loves it. The only reason I put 4/5 stars is because I think it could have come with 2balls, as I now need a new one now the lights don’t flash. Besides that, I would highly recommend.

it arrived on time and it did however took me a little while to put together but can’t fault the product. looks great however my cat doesn’t seem to like it i think it could be the flashing of ball so am going to try a golf ball to see if she plays with it the

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this for my kitten in 2015. Seven years later and my now-chonky-grown-up-floof still plays with it daily.

The track pieces can easily be configured in a few different ways and can be combined with additional sets. My furball seems to prefer the classic figure-of-eight style for casual play, but she’s also partial – on occasion – to a mini 4-piece circle setup, in which to curl up for her 286th nap of the day. (She was, however, completely unimpressed with the super-pimped-double-extended arrangement. Obviously.)

The batteries in the ball don’t last very long, but seemingly it’s just as entertaining without the lights. Even in the dark! Replacement light-up balls are available at a decent price, but it would be much better if the batteries could be replaced/recharged, rather than creating unnecessary plastic waste.

    TLDR; top banana!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought this 2 months ago for my kitten – who was, then, 8 weeks old. She still plays with it every day.
When I first got it the light in the ball didn’t work. The seller quickly replaced the whole thing with a new one, which did work. My kitten had reservations, initially, so I did need to (literally) get the ball rolling for her to then get interested. Within two or three days she’d become quite fascinated by it. being a kitten, still scared of her own shadow, she would get the ball rolling then run and hide behind me before then gingerly returning to it, over and over. After a week she would play with it for ages on her own. She is now 16 weeks old. The ball light battery has recently run out. I think you can buy replacement balls, but I have added a little brightly coloured rubber ball (obtained elsewhere) that she previously liked to “dribble” around the house. She seems now more interested in that than the original ball now that doesn’t flash – possibly because the coloured one is now more noticeable (cats have fairly poor colour distinction compared to humans). My only minor criticism of the item is that ball is sealed so you cannot simply replace the battery.
kittens will play with almost anything, but often appear fickle – seemingly obsessed with a thing one day and ignoring it the next. Not so with this toy. Keeping your kitten entertained at play is important and although you’ll want to mix things up to keep their interest – having a toy that she will return to over and over is a rare thing. I would highly recommend this, as would my kitten, if she could type.

My cats adore this toy, and will even approach it on their own to play with it – which is completely new for us – so it is definitely a favourite. I just couldn’t give it a full four stars because it is a headache to assemble and the cats have also manage to remove one of the covers every time they play with it.

For assembly: the pieces don’t fit together easily, so you have to give it some welly when you put them together, and even then it isn’t a perfect alignment. Still the ball goes get around, so you don’t need perfection. Most of the coves have a very good lock, but two are slide locks to make it easy to remove or install the ball. By playing with it, the cats remove one or the other of the covers every time. It usually takes 10 minutes of play, and they are very strong cats so this may not be an issue with everyone. These are annoyances, but in my opinion, it is made up for by how much the cats love i

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is very easy to assemble however you need to set it up so that it forms a full closed curve and leaves no ends open for the ball to roll out (see vid), which was my initial mistake. Also it’s unclear on the box as to whether it should contain 2 ‘end caps’ on this model so that if you do decide to change the pattern of the tube you can put the caps at the end to stop the ball rolling out when the cat swipes at it. The box shows that they should be enclosed but even after reporting the omission to Amazon, they immediately sent a replacement but that didn’t have any end caps in it either – which leads me to believe they are maybe pertaining to another model.

When connecting the blue covers onto the white bases, be sure to clip and slide them in, otherwise one swipe and my cat pulled it off.

The ball lights up as it rolls inside the tubing which is nice, however from time to time the light doesn’t go on – and this is only within the first few hours of intermittent play on opening it so I hope it doesn’t mean that the battery is wearing down already.

My kittens are just a year old and both are enjoying it for now, though this is just day one. However I do like the concept, I’m sure they’ll enjoy it for some time yet.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersArrived with no outer packaging and it took me longer to get into the box than it did to assemble.
Bought for my little demon baby who has demonstrated a long term love for her other, pyramid shaped ball chasey thingy.
Within 2 minutes of having it set up, said demon baby attacked it with great fervour and is not allowing my older, grumpier cat to have a look at it. Not even from across the room. It is hers.
Tad noiser than the previous ball chasey thingy and, with the red strobe light, I wouldn’t recommend it for the bedroom. Especially if your cat does the universally accepted cat douche behaviour of tearing around at 3 am, randomly attacking carrier bags, insects, shadows and/or their imagination. Demon baby has extended cat douche hours so this will be living downstairs.
It feels pretty solid, though removing the top cases to clean it will be a tad difficult, just tried to remove one and gave up after that period of time when you just feel stupid, regardless of whether you have an audience or not and it’s very clear that you are not going to shift it until you’ve put some additional hours in at the gym. So, should be cat proof. Time will tell if it proves to be demon baby proof.
Btw, demon baby is actually closer to being 4 but refuses to accept it. That ever desired perma-kitten we’ve all dreamed of? We never considered the negatives, people! Demon baby pulled down every curtain in the house last night. Including the shower curtain. Why? There was a fly. This was not a one off. Hopefully her new ball chasey thingy will keep her out of trouble for a day or two.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersGot this for my kitty to keep her amused while I was out. I thought the ball had some sort of motor to keep it going but no, it’s literally just a ball in a long, curvy tunnel with holes for the kitty to bat it around. Instead, the tunnels are designed in such a way to keep the momentum of the ball going as much as possible. My baby (Willow) would watch the ball when I bapped it but immedialy lose interest when it stopped. It took a few days before she started putting her paw in and sometime longer before she worked out it’d move if she pushed it herself. After that though, it wasn’t uncommon for her to flop down in the middle of the track and play about, though she is still move entertained by it when I pushed it.
The ball that comes with it has a momentum-triggered flashing light. It’s designed in such a way that it can’t be opened up and the battery replaced, but obviously you don’t need the light and any similar-sized ball will do if you don’t want a replacement. Note that you need to pull a tab out before it works – I rolled it for a bit before I realised that and the tab got stuck in the ball, it took me a while to get it out and get the ball to work.
While it’s not as advanced as I expected, this is a very well-designed and innovative toy that would work well, especially in a household with many cats. It clips together well, the spaces in the tunnel are perfect for paws but too small for the ball, and ramps are perfect to keep the ball rolling as long as possible. The only downside is that you can’t alter the shape. Unless you have any spare parts, you’re stuck with the circuit as the vaugly ‘8’ shape, which was slighly dissapointing.
Also, for some reason the instuctions showed a different model as they probably use the same instructions for all of them. They all fit together the same way but it WAS a little worrying at first.

Overall, while it was quite different from what I expected, Willow loves it, so so do I! If your kitty dosen’t seem interested in the toy, remember to just give the ball a nudge every now and again to show them how it works.

A good quality toy that’s nice and sturdy and won’t come apart even when big, strong cats attack it. It comes in pieces and you snap it together yourself. Be sure to look at the picture on the box to figure out which top bits attach to which bottom bits – you can tell by the way they curve and are about the same length. Otherwise you have to take it apart again and re-snap which is a bit of a pain but perfectly doable. It took me about ten minutes to snap his all together having gotten a couple of pieces wrong to start with.

Unfortunately, only one of our two cats was really interested. He played with it much more than he has with any other toy, though, for about a month off and on. I think he loved the way the ball would make noise from rolling around rather than the fact that it lights up and flashes. However the light in the roller ball is still going strong despite being used quite a bit.

Our cat has very big, thick paws, and he never had any trouble playing with this toy. He isn’t a Maine Coon but he’s the same size as one and just as tough. And he never managed to damage this toy at all.

I recommend placing this on carpet rather than wooden floors as it could scratch the floors. I also recommend moving it around from time to time as a cat playing on the same bit of carpet all the time could cause wear and tear.

This is a great toy to try out on your cats. Unfortunately there’s no way to predict in advance whether your cats will enjoy it. Fortunately as it’s made of thick plastic it’s very easy to clean take apart and then regift to another cat if yours turns his or her nose up at it. We are giving ours to my mum’s cat for Christmas and, since we saved the original box it came it, I’m sure the cat won’t notice it isn’t brand new!

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersI bought this as something different for kitty’s birthday, as he has pretty much every other kind of toy, and I thought this would be fun and engaging for him.

He absolutely loves it and has spent hours today batting the ball round the track, and really enjoying it.

It really is a wonderful cat toy, and such good value, I would have expected it to be twice as much money!

It’s very simple to put together, the pieces just lock into place with a click, and when it’s put together it’s extremely sturdy. The blue pieces that fit over the track have small hooks underneath them so when you fit them into the slots on the white track, you slide them slightly to the side and this locks them into place so they don’t fly off when kitty is knocking the ball round.

There are four flat sections of track and four raised ‘humpback bridge’ type pieces, and you can arrange them any way you like, they all fit together whichever layout you want.

The plastic is very smooth and rounded so there are no sharp corners or anything like that, great for when kitty drapes himself over it while playing, and the slots along the top are all rounded as well.

The slots along the tops are just over an inch wide, and the gaps between each blue ‘cover’ are pretty big.
My kitty has fairly large paws and he manages to get his whole arm in at times!
But if your kitty has really huge paws you can always remove one or two of the blue covers so he/she can bat the ball at certain places on the track, and watch it go round under the blue bits further round, and wait for it to come back round to the open bit again.

The ball races round very fast and flashes as well, the flash switches off by itself after a few seconds so there’s no waste of battery.

It’s also the perfect size track for a ping pong ball, admittedly they don’t have as much momentum as the proper flashing ball that comes with it, because ping pong balls are so light, but they still go round pretty well if given a nudge, and it’s fun for kitty to see more than one thing racing round the track, and for the one ball to knock into another one and set it going.

The whole toy, when assembled in the ‘infinity loop’ layout, is about three feet long, so it’s a good size.

Kitty is thrilled with it and is having a lot of fun with it, he’s sitting having a game with it as I type this review. It’s a great toy for him to mess about with by himself, and with me as well, as I sit at one end and knock the ball round to him, and then he sends it back round to me.

Would recommend this to anyone whose kitty likes to bat a ball round or poke things in crevices or under sofas!

Also, delivery was unbeatable, it was delivered within 18 hours of dispatch, thanks Amazon!
