Circular Saw Cordless, WESCO Circular Saw, 4.0Ah 18v
Circular Saw Cordless, WESCO Circular Saw, 4.0Ah 18v Cordless Circular Saw, Battery Circular Saw 4000 RPM, 0° to 45° Bevel Cuts, Battery Circular Saw Incl 2 pcs 165x 20mm Saw Blade

DEPTH OF CUT ADJUSTMENT
Turn the cutting depth lock knob in an anti-clockwise direction, and raise the saw body away from the base plate. Set the depth of cut using the cutting depth scale and then turn the cutting depth lock knob in an anti-clockwise direction. Always add 3mm to your depth of cut so that the blade can cut through the material.
BASE PLATE ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
Turn the base plate bevel lock in anti-clockwise direction to loosen the angle scale. Tilt the base plate away from the machine until the required cutting angle is adjusted on the angle scale. Tighten the bevel lock by turning it in clockwise direction. Do not use the the cutting depth scale when making bevel cuts due to possible inaccuracy.
PARALLEL GUIDE ADJUSTMENT
It is used for making cuts parallel to a workpiece edge at a chosen distance. Slide the parallel guide arm through the fixture to achieve the required cutting distance then tighten the lock knob to clamp. It can be used from both sides of the base plate. For straight cuts, use the 0° guide mark to align with your parallel guide scale. For a 45° bevel cut, use the 45° guide mark to align with your parallel guide scale. Securely clamp the parallel guide.

Great cutting power, quite basic though.
I normally use a battery powered circular saw, so this felt incredibly powerful by comparison. It ripped through the timber I was chopping up, very quickly. For me the cable was a bit annoying, but the extra cutting power was enough to compensate for the slight inconvenience.
There’s no laser to show you the line you’re about to cut, just a notch on the leading edge of the base plate….this is a little vague, so before going onto a piece that you want cut accurately, you’ll want to familiarise yourself on a piece of waste wood. There is a cutting rail included, so that might work better for you.
The back of the base plate can catch on your workpiece as you cut through, this can be very annoying & is the biggest reason I can see that might make you want to reconsider purchasing this especially if it’s narrow pieces of timber you’re working on. The plate really could do with a redesign.
Adjustment for depth & angle is quite straightforward & easy enough. Not hugely different to other circular saws.
The notch at the front of the plate, as well as the probability of catching the back of the plate are definitely negatives on this model, but the price is very good at the moment. At time of writing, it’s down from 50 to 40. Definitely worth considering at that price.
Great little machine
I had a Makita circular saw , everyone at work would keep using it so I bought this one as a second , it may not have the name but it’s a great little saw and can cope with a lo
5.0 out of 5 stars Brillia
Well worth the money, good life on the battery. Definitely recommend this produc
4.0 out of 5 stars i like this saw, very ease to use.
his saw is ideal for what i want, very ease to use, not to heave as i have a problem with my left hand, good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love i
First time I used a circular saw. No issues at all. Simple to use. Does the job
Great saw !
Honestly this product is great my Makita would turn on so I brought this think a couple of uses no problem but I’m still using it over my other tool.
I only really use my saw for rough cutting so cannot really comment on its accuracy.
I cannot imagine that you would need much more power than this, even if you had mains current.
It really motors through softwood boards, and will certainly slice through hardwood with a little patience.
A word of warning though, which I guess applies to all such circular saws of this type, keep your non cutting hand and legs out of the way of any likely kickback.Have bought a pair of chainsaw gloves and certainly feel more confident using the saw whilst wearing them.
I wanted a spare battery, and found an exact match online from a high street DIY retailer,at about a 20 discount.
Very pleased with my purchase
For the price range this come in at it’s pretty good. The guide goes straight and for those who complain the notch guide is to vague and wide it is spot on, one side of the notch when cutting at 90 and the other side for cutting at 45. Would recommend for home DIY
Does the job
Purchased for some necessary home improvements this item fits the bill at a price and quality that should do all I need in a short timeframe. As a one off it’s much cheaper not needing a transformer that would be needed for professional site work.
This is a solid hand held tool, easy to use, with safety guard and depth lock.
The only little issue I have with the saw is that the wood cutting disk isn’t that long lasting, after around a dozen uses it seems to be quite dull. Not a big problem as there are replacement disks at any decent hardware outlet.
Value for money
I had purchased one saw in the past which wasn’t cutting straight but this one feels strong and cuts straight and however we want. This should be in everyone’s diy kit. I was sceptical because of the price bt i thought if this lasted one project then it is paid for itself. It is lighter quiter and easy to be more accurate. I used to cut wood and cuts perfectly how i wanted. Value for spend.
Handy little addition to any workshop.
Not used it much but it works well. not used the metal blade yet. And a lot more convenient size for cutting down large sheet material. That are far to clumsy for a table saw. The width guage is pretty much useless and of poor quality. Put that’s my only criticism.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good buy
Great little Saw for the money. Battery not good for full day but OK if only doing ply.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good value can't wait to tackle some bigger jobs
Just getting used to my new saw happy with what I have attempted
Decent tool difficult to operate
A decent tool at a good price but it is difficult to operate as you need to hold the button down, push the tool downwards to release the blade whilst trying to hold the item you are cutting. Clamping the item to a bench etc would help not only the operation of this too but the safe operation too.
5.0 out of 5 stars A great addition into the toolbox.
Works well, as required to do.
So far, so good.
Great “value for money”.
Blade size can be increased.
Should have bought one ages ago.
Absolutely love it. Best bit of kit I have bought in ages. Needed it to work at my allotment.
Good battery life. Robust. Cuts well. Definitely not professional level. But perfect for light DIY and priced well.
Love it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great saw for the money
Much better than my heavy old mains powered circular saw. Good value for the money, battery life seems good so far, charges quickly .
Great - if you know what you're doing
I’m not too handy with tools such as this. Putting it together was a bit of a pain as the instructions weren’t entirely clear.
It did what I wanted though – I cut through a number of skirting boards with nice straight lines.
Practice makes perfect, so do a few runs first.
