Bought this for my 1 year old who’s in to everything and loved running off, we use them everywhere, very strong materials used and no signs of wear as of yet, highly recommend

As expected. Great for my 1 year old, he’s loving his new independence and I’m loving being able to let him walk off some energy without doing my back in and worrying about him tripping. Fits fine at the moment, but doesn’t look like it would fit an older toddler.

Recently, I had to go with my toddler (20 months) alone to the airport. The harness was really helpful with that. It didn’t seem to bother my child at all so it is a big plus. Worked as described.

These were a frat addition when having a young one wanting to walk on their own.
Easy to put on and adjust the size – even when the child is wearing it.
The ‘handle’ part for the adult to hold is a good length – I’m tall and didn’t feel like I had to lean over the reach the end of it.
Good quality too as they lasted through two children!

So I brought this for my soon to be 2 year son as he won’t hold hand when walking so it ends up with him back in a pushchair. But this product is great gives him freedom, and me some control.

Handy if in crowded places or when walking up or downhill as my little girl is still finding her balance. Easy to put on. The only thing I would change is when using the longer ‘lead’ there is no loop on the end so it’s a bit tricky to hold.

Good harness. Only downside is the bit the adult holds can’t be lengthened. There’s a big height difference between me n my husband so adjustable strap would be helpful but other than that it’s a good harness. Our son seems to enjoy being in i

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersFirst harness ever, and I am amazed by how effective it is. A strong two year old here (17kg) is an absolute handful and dashes away from us at any sign of freedom, and this harness really is the only way we can let him out of the buggy in public places. It even gives me a chance to stop him from face planting onto concrete sidewalk – the sight of him hanging with his face centimeters off the ground – Mission Impossible style – is hilarious and reassuring at the same time. Good harness, works as indented. Only drawback I could point out is that when on the “long mode” make sure the child walks on your right side, so that if you have to tug at him the pull comes to the left of him (into safety). Otherwise your pull will spin the kid around and might land him on his bum. Just a minor design quirk I suppose.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWas hesitant buying these but I love them! So easy to use and no faffing around to make the reins longer or shorter.

My daughter gets excited when I bring the harness out because she knows we’re going out – like a little puppy dog! Haha!
Also, when she almost fell, thanks to the shorter reins I was able to very sturdily catch her and save her a skinned knee!

I would definitely recommend these against the really expensive ones!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe product is mad nice and strong, I don’t see a risk of it ripping really. However I am not best pleased with the actual design/engineering of it. It has 2 options, short or long hold from the child. Short hold makes like a loop behind the child which is good, but the long option basically tugs at one side of the back of the child and would cause the wearing of it on the child to swivel to one side. Safety wise I think it’s good, just think it could have been designed better. I will be keeping it and using it. If you are not fussed about what I mentioned above, then the product does do what it intends, ie keep the child close and safe

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHave a colourful set for older child, got these for youngest. Can be a bit of a faff putting them on with the long strap attached, need to remember to unclip one side.
I prefer these to backpack type styles as I like to wrap the long strap round my wrist/arm etc and hold their hands to walk.
Go easily over clothes Inc coats, fit on on buggy/car seat so can put on before leaving house.
Really unintrusive so you forget they are wearing them.
Easy to wrap up and store/bung in change bag!
    Great value for money

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMainly got this for our son who was a toddler when I did buy this.
Seemed easy to use could just be annoying trying to adjust it with a small child.
Worked well when on holiday but did not use it loads.
Perfect to use on holiday and in busy places if you have a toddler and one that tends to run off.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBought this for my daughter as we were going on a city break to Rome when she was 14 months – she had been walking for four months and had no interest in being in the buggy. This was purchased to let her walk along side us at the airport until she tired herself out and would sit in the buggy.

We got so much more use out of it than that. It came in handy at restaurants that had high chairs with no support straps, as we were able to create a makeshift harness/strap in the high chair (only recommend this if you are supervising child of course).

Have used it on other city breaks, going shopping in town and on rural walks at home. It makes her feel independent while giving me the peace of mind that she can’t run off. I still use it as we now have a baby and it means that I can push his buggy while allowing her to walk but knowing she can’t go anywhere.

The straps are adjustable, it’s comfortable for baby, and you can shorten the grip on the handle by clipping it around in a loop.

I’d checked lots of different harnesses but the reviews were good on this one and it seemed to meet my needs best. It didn’t disappoint and I’ll be purchasing another soon when baby starts toddling.

I know that walking reins that OK like backpacks are all the rage but they didn’t really work for us. These simple reins are perfect for the independent toddler who just wants to walk everywhere but doesn’t want to always hold your hand. The simple black design means they go with everything and she can still wear her backpack if she wants to but can also choose not to. Now, instead of having a fight about hand holding or having to always be looking down to make sure she is ok my toddler and I can go for a walk happily together. She feels independent and I feel secure that she is safe while still able to look up and talk to other adults. They are easy to use and fold away small enough to fit in a pocket.

    These reins are fantastic.
I bought them for a 14 month year old child and they where a fantastic purchase.
There is a strong, durable feel to them and I feel safe that they will not break or even worse unclip.
A big reason i chose these over others was because the strap can change, you can have a ‘loop’ style handle which is great for new walkers incase they have a little stumble you can lift them back up.
And the second way it as a more ‘Dog Lead’ style. This is excellent for good walkers who you just need to keep close to you without wandering off.
The straps are of good length also so you don’t need to walk around on your knees if you are tall!
The sizing is great they have fitted both a 14 month year old and a 2 year old and over.
A Must Have For Walkers In Training!
