Not used it for its intended purpose as a paint roller pole,
I just it as a pole for my homemade beach scoop for metal detecting.
It has a nice feel to the padded grip. Easy lock mechanism, easy to extend and retract.
When i come use it for a paint roller pole im sure it will worl well
As a maintenance contractor, I’ve found this pole to be excellent to use, easy to change its length, and it doesn’t slip, perfect for a 3m high wall, up to about 3.2m, or anything less, used with Harris rollers and tray, simple effective tooling, better than my last pole
Now I’ve had a chance to use this, I can confirm that it does the job. That is all. The connection between the pole and the handle can and will come loose when in use. This was annoying but I just made sure the check it was tight or re tighten it when I went to reload the paint. The paint brush is meh. I have better ones that don’t lose bristles (this one lost 2 or 3 the first time I used it). Also, the metal bit that holds the bristles in is not flush with the handle. This led to water still being trapped even after the brush had dried out and was ready to use again. I will use my other brushes in the future. The rollers also lost clumps of their lint/material (not sure what to call it) in the paintwork. It was especially the case with the smaller 4in rollers! Very frustrating! But all in all, I’m mostly satisfied with this for the price. I only really needed the extension pole anyway, which handily doubles as a hobby horse for an imaginative 2 year old

Long handled pole is a game changer. Half the time to apply paint and a much better finish. After watching videos on how to beat use a long pole and attaching roller securely it allowed me to just move arms and not over stretch or bend down which resulted in not having the usual aches and pains after finishing the job. Highly recommended.
Was really happy with this and how easy it made painting my ceiling in the bathroom. Actually ended up sitting on the floor and painting from there (had been painting all day). Excellent purchase!
Nothing to dislike here, great quality painting kit especially the extension pole really comfortable grip and so easy to handle, best I’ve ever used. Cannot fault this kit at all.

That one had a twist and tighten mechanism so it was often just coming loose whilst in use, and didn’t actually go that long.
This on the other hand is built really well, has a solid locking system, and has transformed how quick and easy it is to paint high walls and ceilings!
I’ve been using it with the Hamilton 1841-24 roller and they pair perfectly!
Bought this along with the paintbrush attachment to decorate high and hard to reach areas in the landing in our house – it’s extremely sturdy, you can use with pressure and feel safe knowing it won’t break! Easy to adjust depending on whether applying a roller or the brush attachment. Would recommend.
