Purchased for 4 year old who loved it. Easy to stick on motifs and assemble. Flashing lights add a great effect. Only criticism is its a bit stiff to operate to fire for little hands but he is now mastering it.
Super fun for children and dads alike.
Good quality, sturdy enough and good price. Lot of fun in the park (open space) , chasing this lovely airplanes. Do not play in your back garden as we lost one airplane already and we don’t know in which garden went… Thank you
The toy itself is pretty cool – a simple concept that’s pretty easy to put together, although the wings are a little hard to slide into the main body. But once it’s together it looks good and the plane really shoots off the launcher fast, and loudly! (See my video).
One point to note is that it’s made from coloured polystyrene, so it’s not the most hardy material. However, my biggest issue is the poor spelling and grammar on the box; that really lets it down, and I wouldn’t want to give it as a gift for that reason 🙁 which is a shame.
A pack of three lightweight airplanes that are quite simple to put together but they are easily broken if too much force is used. Included in the fuselage are some quite fancy LED lights complete with batteries. The lights would show up much better at night. Maybe at a party or BBQ in the garden.
As an adult I felt a bit underwhelmed by the duration and direction of this catapulted launch foam glider airplane. I admit it was a slightly windy day but I could not get much flight distance even trying firing the airplane into or with the wind. I did get one flight of about 15 metres but all the rest were much shorter and on more than one occasion the plane simply went in the air and came straight back to me.
I think a less windy day or even flying indoors, space permitting, would get much better results. As the airplanes are lightweight foam, I don’t think they would case any damage indoors.
That said my 6-year-old grandson, who may well have had much less in the way of expectations, found the whole flying experience great fun and was really excited wanting another go.
It was worth getting just for the excitement of the young lad.
