Plenty of heat from this unit but the wall mounting bracket is feeble. Had to add extra screws to hold it up straight. It has a pull chord and it wobbles when the unit is turned on and off.

Purchased for the gazebo, this is a high quality patio heater which can be used both indoors and outdoors. It’s super easy to use.

This heater uses standard household electricity so works out a lot cheaper to run than the typical propane heaters you find.

    Good price

Very good quality of the heater. The size is good and two heat options are good feature. The connection cord is a bit smaller but not a major issue for me.

Currently using it in my garage whenever I am in there for DIY and keeps me warm.
It has 2 settings low and high according to your needs.
It can be used outdoors in a garden as well.

Good to keep yourself warm in small areas

Bought it for 4 month now and it is still working great. It really helped with the cold weather this winter.
I must say that it is very sturdy and it is very well made. It has two levels of heating and is easy to adjust.
I mainly use it in late evenings amd under the patio. So i don’t worry about the waterproof things.
    Overall i am very impressed.

    Great outdoor heate

The heater seems really good, just right when I’m working in the garage, since it heats me, not the space around me. However, the supplied bracket, fixed to the wall as advised, is a bit weak – it drops slightly under the weight of the heater and the other annoying thing for me is the fact that the (VERY bright!) light at the side is on all the time – can’t see a way to shut it off. Time will tell how good this is, but so far, quite pleased.

Open box, attach the chain, attach to hook on garage rafter and plug it in! No other setup needed apart from putting 2 x AAA batteries in the supplied remote control.

Comes complete with pre-fitted three pin plug so no wiring or electrical knowledge needed. Recommend to plug directly to socket rather than the use of an extension lead as on full power it will draw 2kw. It is ideal in the garage over the winter months when you want to spend time in there doing some DIY but is too cold. I previously used a propane gas cabinet heater which took up a lot of floor and I struggled to get hold of a replacement bottle. The cost of the new cylinder was going to be as much as I paid for this heater so took the plunge and swapped. I was also very conscious that the gas heater made my eyes water and probably not ideal for the situation, unless garage was well ventilated which meant you let all h the heat out! This takes away the worry of any kind of fumes. Controlled by remote control and can be adjusted between three power levels. The 2000W is the full power and gets my garage up to a nice temperature fairly quickly. Then I knock it down to the lowest setting and it provides more than enough warmth to keep you nice and comfortable. A bit bigger than I anticipated but once hung up you don’t notice it and the spread of heat is good.

Ideal for garage over winter to take off the edge

Finally got a cover on our deck and installed these so we can enjoy it later into the fall season or on those chilly summer nights.
There is no assembly required. The installation was very easy. It comes with a long chain which you can adjust to your desired length.
I like that it hangs overhead so the heat can radiate from the center out and that it doesn’t take up any valuable floor space.
    I will definitely recommend it.

At less than 2kg this heater is east to install, metal chain is supplied with latch on hook on both ends. Cable and 3 pin plug looks robust but not very long.

Pull string to turn it on, single element (low) and double element (high) output. Heat is instant and directional, can feel the warmth up to 5 meters under the heater.

The lamp design is simple and elegant, when turn on it double as a warm ambiance light. Very cosy feeling and pretty.

Heat up instantly and not too heavy for hanging

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this heater for the winter and I must say it’s great, it only works for a small space and heats very well. It can also warm up to the legs even though it is on the ceiling. That’s why this heater deserves its money.

It’s great for the price and takes up enough space, plus it gives off enough heat. I use it to cover an area of 12 by ten higher and the wind is blowing. I have a patio in my garden and it allows me to sit on cold days without getting cold.

By the way, it is designed from very durable, high quality and heavy materials. By the way, there is no need for direct mounting to the ceiling. There are screw hangers with an average length of 10CM. Drill holes parallel to the ceiling. (I would say 90 degree angle or diagonally). Fill the hole with 1 dowel. You can also guarantee your work by filling it with a liquid such as silicone or adhesive. That’s exactly how I did it. Currently there is no problem even though I pull the heater down from the ceiling in my hand. I really liked it in general. Thank you.

    Better than expected

I’m purchased this heater for a gathering at my garden, it kept us warm the entire night and it was easy to install and the best part of this product is that it has a remote controller which mean I don’t have to get up to lower the heater all the time and just use the controller! Very good product!!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is ideal when you are sat outside with a chill and don’t care what it takes, you just want to turn the heat on and be warm straight away this does just that.

No messing around just switch it on and it works, it has a couple of heat settings for lower or higher heat depending on how cold it actually is, don’t forget though, don’t leave the cable coiled up and if you have to use an extension lead make sure it is fully extended as the cables themselves will heat up with the power they draw through them.

Putting it together is really easy, basically like a metal lego style each piece just slots in to the next and the base is heavy enough that it won’t topple over, we have a cover over it to keep it outside and it hasn’t knocked over at all even in high winds.

This is a really effective product that gives out excellent heat and light. I have purchased 2 to hang from the frame of a 4mx3m gazebo over my outside dining table. They are really good to take the chill off and double up as great warm lights. I was worried about hanging them but with the chain it was really straight forward. The lead is short as others have mentioned but I just put it an extension cable attached to the frame. Very pleased with them. Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSurprised at how much heat this put out (and wetting myself how much the electricity would cost!) but considering it was on 3 bars a good 4 or 5 hours was about 1.50 which was well worth it to keep grandad warm in the newly converted car port to garden ‘room’

The heater gives off way more light than the little light under the heater. What’s the point? The remote is responsive and easy to use. It would be nice to be able to operate it from the unit itself

I really like this heater, I use it outside in my gazebo with the sides zipped up. It was easy to install, you just hang it with the chain then plug it in. On full power it gave out loads of heat so we could sit outside in March! It also gives off a brilliant light so it was lovely and cozy.
One star removed for the really short cord, we had to use it with an extension lead.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPurchased this last year and glad i did. Definitely helps take the chill off in the evenings. Some people might expect miracles and expect it to turn a winter’s night into a tropical like evening. Obviously it won’t do that but depending on how open you are and if there’s any wind I can definitely say it’s helped us enjoy late evenings when normally we would be inside. For those interested, my energy display says 15p and hour on 1st ring and 40p and hour with both rings on. The 2nd ring is bigger which is why it’s abit more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Heate

I purchased it to use inside a large/tall wooden shed/man cave in which I have a large bar and seating area. It was bought to take the chill out of the air in winter. They’re really good, instant maximum heat and the heat output is decent to sit under and around up to 3 or 4 feet away in it’s radius. I was impressed and bought another one to use at the other end of the shed. The light output from them is a warm glow, kinda like old style halogen. They look fantastic in a wooden area. The remote is a handy feature. The supplied fixtures are strong and it was easily fitted/hung. The cable is short but easily plugged into a suitable thick extension lead.
As for longevity we shall see, I guess it all depends on how many times they’re used.
All in all I highly recommend them, they double up as a light source, and as I say they look fantastic in a wooden building.

We bought this to mount from the pergola in the garden. We are looking to turn it into a seated area. It is well constructed and very solid. The first thing we noted was how quickly it got hot – it is almost instant! It has two heated settings which can be seen from either one of the rings being set to heat or two of them. The cable is a decent length as well. It also cools down quickly after use. Very pleased with it. I recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of heat and quickly!

I’ve been using this heater for a month. The quality of this heater is too good. It is light in weight and very easy for me to carry. I can use this heater at home and can also carry it outdoor or wherever I go. The heat output is satisfactory and absolutely safe for kids as well as pets. It is providing 360 heating uniformly in all directions by expanding the heating area.
The heating efficiency is moderately high. The hook design of this heater is very much useful to hang easily at any place. It even worked great outdoor by producing enough warmth.
The output of this heater didn’t get affected outdoor even if it rains or by snowfall. It can be easily operated just by pulling down the rope. By hanging the heater to my roof, it looked so beautiful and is really comfortable and warm. I found it very much useful especially on chilly evenings.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis had the usual poor instructions especially regards the attachment of the heating head to the top pole. The parts list was not clear either. It was left to me to figure it out; There is one pole which has the crucial part hidden within it. It is a smaller and non rounded pole which pulls up and allows the heater head to form a union with the top pole. The pole has adjustable height but I found leaving it unincreased but using all three poles was the best for a seated party.

The heat settings are basically quarter heat, three quarter heat, full heat.

This is achieved by the settings operating that proportion of its heat bars. The pull cord seems ok but I decided to leave mine set on 3 quarter heat and use the plus as the on off switch just in case.

This could have been better designed for portability by having wheels on one side of the base and having the pole holding screws integrated in each poles sides rather than having them as loose screws which must not be lost and need a screwdriver for (included but still a faff to have to save somewhere).

Nonetheless if you want to move it in the car to someone’s garden I leave one section of the poles unscrewed and this allows quick separation for fitting it in the car and seems stable even without screwing that section in.
Obviously not with children around if that were the case I would not leave it unscrewed.

This is a very good and reasonably priced garden heater (or conservatory or even house if one was needed for emergency use.) I found I was able to sit out in winter in the daytime using it and had it not been there this would not have been possible it does make a big difference.

If you’re in need of a hanging heat source for indoors or outdoors (IP24 rated*), that doesn’t require and electrician or plumber to set up, nor take up precious floor space, then this ceiling mounted, hanging, electric heater could just be your answer.

The heater has 2 different heat settings, which can be cycled between by pulling the string/cord a particular number of times based on the heat output you want: 800W (1 pull), 2000W (2 pulls).

Installation requires literally just screwing the heater into the designated ceiling surface, plugging in the 3-pin power plug (1metre cord), et voila, the heater is up and ready, and power on/off is operated via the pull string attached to the heater.

I have installed the heater in a gazebo, and so far so good (haven’t burned down the garden..), and because I already had an extension block up on the surface, the 1m cable wasn’t a problem for me, but plan ahead as it is quite short!

So far so good. Using in a 1.5x garage gym. Provides enough heat to take the edge off on maximum setting. Heats up very quickly and provides adequate coverage. Go for the one with the stand to provide greater flexibility, I went for one without – mounting is ok but tricky to get completely level.

I needed a way to heat my freezing cold conservatory without my 2 year old getting burnt. Screwed this into the slanted roof and it heats the table very well. Last year we all ate in the front room (4 of us). Now we can eat in the conservatory. Keeps us all warm while we eat and provides plenty of light too. Xmas dinner is saved!!!

I have this set up on our top patio and it tends to get a lot of wind and rain up there, however after setting this up we placed it outside straight away right before a storm and it has not moved an inch.

The base on it is the vast majority of the weight that holds it down, so it sticks in place but best of all the water doesn’t affect it in any way. We had it plugged in for a good 6hrs outside while we enjoyed a winter BBQ a week ago and it kept us toasty and warm the whole evening.

They do use a decent amount of powers o if it’s on an extension lead, make sure it is fully extended so as to not overheat the cable, but other than that it does the job it needs to and really quickly.

I’ve also invested in a cover too just to be sure, although I’m not sure it’s necessary and you do need to wait for it to cool down before covering it just for safety.

I had initially bought 2 heaters for our Sensory Garden project. And only erected one of the heaters from box a day or two after receiving which is working absolutely fantastic .Although unfortunately I didnt open 2 nd box containing additional heater until 6th of September . And found that the little pack of screws to fasten pole together were missing . I would be most grateful if your good selves would be able to furnish me with a pack of said screws . Many Thanks Johnny

Does its job. Seems quite stable.
Heat effect range is not far and positioning for max effect is difficult because of short cable (its just longer than the heater is tall and starts from the top of the heater).

Although the heaters do what they are meant to, they are labelled as IPX rated with no additional number and I am told shouldn’t really be used in a commercial setting particularly in this litigious world we all live in. The sellers and Amazon should make this absolutely clear in their advertisements when stating waterproof.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe love this patio heater! We use it in the warehouse where can only be warm up a little bit for few days in the summer. Most of the time the warehouse is like freezing cold. We have a few electric oil heaters but the heat they can provide is very limited. Until my friend visit me couple of weeks ago and suggested me to try this “out door” heater. We are very glad to have it! It can cover more space and our warehouse operatives no need to stick on the oil heater any more. We probably need some more of this patio heaters during the winter. Hope this heater can last for a good long time and I will came back for more when winter comes if it does:)

Got this for our gazebo to help us on those cooler days and chiller evenings while we are social distance socialising. So glad we got.
We have hung from the gazebo roof pole and used the chain and an additional rope to lower to a good level.
It’s great with having kids as it’s completely out of their way, (was considering a floor standing one.)
Great heat and a lovely light on the evenings.
Only issue is the length of wire/plug, just way to short for what it is, but I can live with that as just so grateful for the extra heat.

Gives off a nice heat and light though

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersLooks ok and on its full heat setting it’s fairly warm if your stood under it but not as powerful as I’d hoped. Gives off a fair bit of light. Can’t believe that for 60 they couldn’t have supplied it with more than a 1 meter cable…. bear in mind that if the cable touches the top of the heater it will melt as the top gets warm. So I’ve zip tied the cable to the hanging chain.
So in all unless you happen to have a socket around head height then the heater has to be 50 cm from the floor socket unless you hang an extension lead up there too. Bit stupid really!
I expect I’ll get my tools out and replace the cable for a longer one but this will of corse invalidate any warranty. Cheepskates!
