Arrived very promptly, well packaged and comes in rather nice carry pouch.
Obviously not used all the bits yet but the three I’ve used carved their way into brick and especially concrete.
    Great gear. D

There’s always something in our masonry that shreds drill bits to pieces, but these done a very good job and got the job done.

Used several drill bits doing DIY through masonry walls and they worked great! Nice small packaging too for easy storage

Used a couple of times now to drill brick which has been managed with ease, even with a cheap battery drill which was hopeless with the rubbish bits I was using before.

Drilled a few holes in to my solid concrete wall the tpe that has solid pebles meshed in it which is really hard to get through they seemed to do the trick

The drill bits are straight and did the job. Had to wait for them to cool between holes at times and sometimes pause during a single hole. You could tell when this was needed as it just wouldn’t cut any deeper, but once colder they just cut deep quickly.

This item comes in a handy pocket sized case so easy to carry around and have ready when you need it. I have been using for just over a month now and the drill bits are decent, well made and have remained “sharp” despite drilling into masonry frequently.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersNothing wrong with these bits , I’m a professional, been on the tools 25 plus years , used the 6mm to drill through thick uneven render then brick , no problem at all. If you bang them on hammer straight away and go hell for leather, pressing the bit head hard, thin bits will bend and no bit will perform well, they are just metal not lazers ! People go mad and expect miracles and wonder why their tools fail. These are more than good enough for the money if you have some skill , experience, common sense & patience. Drilling masonry is like vacuuming, be calm and give the device the time to do the work without undue pressure. Drills drill , so let them drill

Like most masonry bits, these will wear out like any other. But they seem to do the job well up until that point.

But the case they come in won’t fall apart like so many do, which is a huge bonus in my opinion. You can leave it in the drill box with all the other odds and sods we end up with in there, and it won’t disintegrate and leave your bits floating around all over the place and falling out of the box, which makes it a pain to find the right one each time.

So the bits themselves are passable as they’re gonna wear out like they all do, but this set comes with a half decent case to keep them in, its still plastic but not too flimsy with the kind of hinge that gives up within a year etc etc. The latch is decent so that doesn’t feel like it will fall apart too easily either.

Obviously if you’re a numpty and chuck it into the tool box from across the room too often it might give up. But you don’t have to treat it like royalty on the day to day… like some of the more flimsy gear out there.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI’ve been using this set for 3 months, and it’s doing well.
So far, I’ve used 3 different sizes, the 3, the 5 and the 6. I’ve drilled into brick, mortar, and a breeze block.
In each case, they were quick and clean, leaving a nicely edged hole, with no crumbling or forcing.
It remains to be seen how long they last, but so far, so good – let’s face it, at this price, even half a dozen uses per bit would be worth it.

My only niggle (and its NOT a complaint) is that it doesn’t cover some of the more popular plug sizes – a 5.5mm bit would have been very welcome, as would a 7mm one. A few times, I’ve resorted to making a smaller hole just-that-bit bigger by reinserting and edging it with the drill bit, which is NOT recommended for either the drill or the bit. OK, for under a tenner, it’s not a bad selection, so perhaps I’ll spend some more money and get a fuller set – I can always give these to my hubby.
[EDIT: I’ve searched, and ordered this set (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001SFZWD6), as it has reasonable reviews, and it has my “missing” sizes, although only one of each. We shall see. I’ll post a separate review as/when I’ve used them]
