I needed these tools for some small jobs around the garden. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the quality, and you probably get what you pay for. However, I soon realized that my inexperience had led me to buy tools that weren’t really up to the task. They were just too small and didn’t protect the hands enough. I ended up buying a larger hammer, and a larger chisel with a hand guard at the top. If you need the tools for a very light job these will probably be fine. The name is amusing – I don’t think any qualified builder would consider these adequate.

I used these tools to remove bathroom wall tiles. You’ll probably need a thin blade to initially get them off but once there’s a gap the wide head chisel is great at finishing the job, and the mallet packs a wallop! The smaller chisel I haven’t used yet but looks very sturdy. Good overall quality.

If you prefer oddly shaped Ice Blocks in your drinks rather than ice cubes, Draper Tools Builders Kit makes a perfect Ice Breaker, but, please don’t use the chisels as a freezer or window ice scraper, they are made of heavy metals and will scratch or break certain surfaces. For me it is the perfect solution to breaking up bags or containers of ice, if you don’t have an Ice Cube Maker.
