Needed 2 to cut double socket hole on wall tile, new blade works great but did wear out quickly and needed another, also took 2hrs. Very pleased with the end resul

great,, dont buy a fake if you can afford a little more for a proper one, they are much better made and fit properly in my experience.

Took a chance this would work with my cordless 12v Bosch rotary tool, it does! Much easier than using the collets that came with it.

The Dremel 4486 Multi Chuck works well and is a good price, the threads are a bit coarse so tightening is no very smooth but it does the job well and is versatile in its uses.

I obtained this set to replace a lost collect inside the ‘chuck’ nut on a dremmel. It fitted the older 300 series Dremmel fine as you would expect from an OEM part.

No more messing about with wrong size collets. Should have bought one of these earlier.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’m sure that like many others thought that this was siezed solid, I did the usual things like soaking it overnight in wd-40, brute force etc-etc, finally reverting to screwing it onto my dremel to have something to force against in my next round to free this off, when I noticed something odd-as I screwed it in, the jaws moved out, so I screwed it in and out a few times and lo and behold the jaws moved in and out.
What I discovered was that my assumptions about how this worked were completely and utterly wrong, a few wee sweary words and a tantrum later, I realised that everything black was one piece and that the threaded part that this screws onto pushes the jaws closed and as you unscrew it it opens the jaws.
A clever and might I say ingenious design, perhaps Dremel should highlight this on their description and website, honestly it is not obvious to all of us.
As this is not a fault in the item-but rather a discrepancy in the documentation, I cannot but give 5 stars as despite being a wee bit mangle-ated it still works

I bought this after reading the reviews, and I’m so glad I did. It’s frustrating having to change the collets for different attachments, plus I can never find the right one. This has made me feel like using my Dremel more frequently. I don’t know why it isn’t sold with the multi tools as standard

One of those essential buys to add to your Dremel kit, good quality collets and quick delivery

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt works well with the appropriate tools. Make sure the shaft is inserted into the chuck as far as it will go. If it protrudes too far it can bend and go out of balance, not a pleasant experience at 30,000 rpm!

This is the first time in a very long time that I have changed the Mandrel on my Dremel. The Dremel gets a great deal of use as the go to recovery tool for air tool brads not going where they should always when students are using the air brad gun. If this one lasts as long as the last one it is very good value for money.
