Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe had some bridging over the dpc from our porch into the hallway. After some re-plumbing, I used this to try and seal the wall to prevent water getting in. So far so good.

Very easy to put on, the people complain it is too thin either have no idea what they are on about or bought a different product to me!

Worth the money for small damp issues. Just follow the instructions

The item was delivered promptly and well packaged. The only downside is the watery nature. I was expecting something slightly thicker. Overall, it gives some stunningly bright outlook if allowed to dry properly.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHad a slight damp patch for years . Tried all sorts including a Dulux version of this and re pointing brick outside . 3 coats of this and problem sorted . Several weeks on now and no signs of resurgence . My walls were Matt white so I finished with a coat of that . Well worth the money .

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis stuff is brilliant. It goes on a dark blue and dries black. The rainwater just sits on top. It is easy to use and covers really well. I ordered the 1l and was so impressed I then ordered the 5l. Best paint ever. I have painted th sewage pipe, outside skirting, window sills, wooden gate, gas box, wooden wagon wheel and garden wall.

I used it as a damp proof seal for a wood floorboard and it did the job perfectly. It has a very strong smell though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo glad I’ve purchased this product for floor prep and reseal, I have plenty left for another project.
Make sure you dry it overnight before insulation and floor relay.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI have had a really annoying small patch of damp coming through in a lower corner of my lounge for some time. I’ve used a dehumidifier for a long time and have also tried Johnstone’s damp paint but the patch just came back through and was always visible and very annoying. I decided to sand the emulsion back a little and then applied 5 coats of this in alternate directions as instructed. Emulsioned over with 2 coats. 2 weeks on and there is no signs of the damp patch. I’m really hopeful that it holds it back for some time- only time will tell I guess but first impressions are good. A very easy to use product that has very little aroma. Dries quickly between coats. My advice would be to do as many coats as you can.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersLove this – quick and easy to use (first coat touch-dry in an hour) and works really well. Used on the floor of an understairs cupboard in an old house. Result was a neat, sealed floor, and no more musty smell. The finish resembles semi-gloss paint and seems fine on its own for a cupboard (a high traffic area would need something tougher on top). Very pleased – I hesitated over the price before I bought it, but have to say it did the job perfectly.
