Nice kit spoiled only by its imperfect match with the DE7400 table. This weakness is easily corrected using four M8 x 10 mm bushes not supplied.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHad a reasonable table saw before which wasn’t accurate so decided to buy this.
Checked with with a digital level and the 5 cut method. Straight out of the box this cut absolutely spot on. Fantastic tool with loads of power.

Only thing it’s lacking if I’m being picky is a soft start but great saw and well worth the money

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersA great small saw, usual dewalt quality but not a 250mm blade.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrought this after looking closely at the Bosch. All review pointed at the dewalt and I must agree. Something of a price hike but I think it was worth it.
Designed and manufactured very well. Although my use is entirely home based coupled with the mobile stand I can wheel this around to work with relative ease.
    Powerful and accurate. Recommended

All spot on out of the box. Though I would have to set it up. Great but of kit.

This is a great bit of kit, ignore the ‘cheap plastic’ reviews, it’s solid and well built. The plastic trim is just that, and serves no real functional purpose.

My only regrets are that I couldn’t get hold of the next model up, and that thin small cuts can fall into the blade housing, necessitating removal of two screws to retrieve. But this is a minor issue I’ve only had when cutting spacers.

Cuts are accurate, it’s not the lightest, but that’s no issue for a tool that is meant to be static while used. You can always get a circular saw and slide if you want a more portable & similar set up (though you still can’t do similar cuts as accurately with that).

    Versatility, it’s a tool for a specific purpose. So…

    Could be a bit cheaper.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersAs a recent part time job as a Design and Technology assistant I know a thing or two about machine tools of all sizes and makes. I purchased this table saw to incorporate into a home made work shop table(6ft by 4ft) and I’m thrilled at how well made it is. The quality of the Dewalt saw and the design makes it a joy to use with extremely accurate and repeatable results. The only negative in the UK is the price it’s at least 35% more expensive than it is in the USA which I guess is a reflection of the market size.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersThis 210mm bladed saw is superb quality, feels well made and tough. I have had one for just over a month and it has been a joy to use. Good points:

    1. Motor is powerful, the saw does not struggle cutting at full depth of cut.

    2. It is compact and light weight, meaning it is very easy to handle, and stores on its end to save space. I was worried that the table would be too small. It isn’t, it supports the work perfectly and a larger table would not be so handy to move or store.

    3. All accessories fit securely within the frame, the fence stores below the table and with the blade and short riving knife fully retracted, there is nothing that can get easily damaged during transport or storage.

    3. The fence extends to cut half a sheet of sheet material, so is perfect for all construction needs.

    4. The supplied 210mm blade is good quality and the depth of cut is fine for all standard construction materials.

    5. All adjustments of blade height, blade angle etc work well.

    6. The riving knife and the other riving knife with the crown guard are easily swapped, without having to remove the blade plate, they can be removed using an external knob next to the motor under the saw. This works really well.

    7. Dust collection is excellent with a vacuum attached to the saw, and this is made even more effective because Dewalt have added a tough fabric collar between the table and the blade housing, meaning that dust has only one place to exit, through the extraction port. A little dust does escape above the table, but I have not yet tried connecting an extractor hose to the crown guard, which should reduce dust further.

    8. The VERY BEST feature of all is the fence, and more precisely the means of adjustment, which is unique to Dewalt, it has a rack and pinion mechanism working on both ends of the fence, so when adjusting it remains absolutely parallel to the blade at all times. The importance of this cannot be underestimated, and is a bugbear with many other saws. This alone made this saw a no brainer for me, and I did a lot of research before buying it. It also has a flip down section which has two positions, one on top of the table, acting as a low profile fence when using it close to the blade and a lower setting for when the fence is extended past the table, which helps support wider work. The push stick is also stored on the fence, making sure it is always to hand.

In summary this is a superb saw, well designed, well thought out and is a real pleasure to use. Everything was accurate straight out of the box. Perhaps I was lucky, but all settings (like blade angle stops, fence measure guides etc are fully adjustable.

Oh, and negatives. Genuinely very few. In common with all table saws, the cross cut fence is not tight to the mitre slot, so accurate mitre or cross cuts are not really possible. These saws are not really designed for cross cutting, they are ripping saws. For me it is not an issue, I have a chop saw to take care of mitre and cross cutting. Also, it is not any better on other makes of table saw.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThe title says it is a 250 mm saw.
IT IS NOT IT IS A 210 mm SAW.
The feet on the stand don’t fit this saw either so be prepared to find 8nr M13 fully threaded bolts x 20mm c/w nuts and washers to fix it to the stand.
Other than that it is a good saw let down by a 210mm sized blade. I would have looked out for a DW725 instead if I had known that, plus the stand is compatible with the DW725.
