brilliant as a porch light. no wiring just batteries. i have one light aimed at my key safe + the other at my front door key hole.. bright white light comes on as you get close stays on long enough to get key + open door.. can leave it on or can switch it off via a switch on its side. sturdy enough for inside porch area, great value + service
