Not a bad drill if you already have the batteries, charger and SDS bits. If not then I suggest you look at other handhelds.

This only delivers 14nm of torque. My DeWalt DCD805 for example delivers 90nm, it’s alot smaller and the price isn’t much difference. Admittedly it’s not SDS but it does everything I ask of it and more……

Bare bones so no battery but for an Einhell fan with many batteries that not an issue. Works very well but obviously DIY level only

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought and used this product extensively for several years and still use it frequently. I acquired it at a time when I had a considerable amount of drilling to do in hardened, flinty concrete. I often pushed this hammer drill to the limits. but it never quit on me. I have no regrets purchasing i

I am a tradesman, personally I can’t fault this company’s range of battery hand tools. Einhell’s have been a great replacement for the DeWalt and Makita battery hand tools which were stolen out of my van. At half he cost.

    Absolutely love it.
The only reasons I’ve given it 4 are:
    A. It’s a shame there’s no purely hammering mode, and the next model up is much more expensive.
    B. The screwdriver bit adapter is a bit rubbish, I’ve got some bits that fit, but others are too small. It may be worth looking at an sds plus chuck adapter.

This model still drills through stone very easily while not feeling like your whole arm is vibrating.
The sds plus chuck is very easy to use.
And the battery doesn’t make the drill feel too heavy either.
I can’t rate the longevity yet, we’ll see. The mower I bought from them has been good, so hopefully this will be too.

Arrived very quickly and well packaged.
Have only used once but it seems to do the job really well with great hammer action, takes both Einhell and Izito batteries.

Excellently balanced hand tool with the battery fitted. Much better than anticipated.
Bits used need to be the SPC variety.
Magnetic hexagonal screw bit works well.
Used as a screwdriver, the drill is powerful and fastens tightly.
Saved the best part until last. The hammer drill aspect to the drill is absolutely tremendous. The drill was bought mainly as a regular power drill and driver and the effectiveness of the hammer drill aspect came as a pleasant surprise. Again special drills have to be used but the strength of the battery drive is remarkable and there was no problem drilling through dense brick and tile.

What can’t this drill through. Used on wood, steel, a tree and the rubber from a tyre. Get an sds chuck for it and I haven’t come across anything that has defeated this drill.
Been dropped a few times but just carries on working.
    Excellent piece of kit.

    Thank you for question!
For me is perfect tool. 1 st to use for drilling halles and 2 Nd I am using to screwing big wooden screws. Max drill bit number 12. Usually I am using 6;7;8 drill bit. And of course is important what type of batery you use. My is 5.2 amp and 2x baterrys are perfect.
    Regards

After having bought a battery drill form Ozito, I was hoping to get a hammer drill from the same brand. I had no idea the brand had changed to Einhell so I took a bit of a gamble when I bought this one. This is because I had also purchased the battery charger with my first drill and this is an Ozito make – so I wasn’t entirely sure I would be able to charge this hammer drill on it. I need not have worried about this as the Einhell hammer drill charges just fine on my Ozito charger.
I love this brand and have used it for over a year now so buying from it again was a no brainer. The charging time is exceptional and these really are tough and durable products. This hammer drill makes light of the work you put it through, meaning I’ve got many shelves and cupboards up in no time, with no problems drilling through brick.
I have no hesitation in recommending any of the Ozito/Einhell products.

5.0 out of 5 stars A reliable brand well worth the price

Great compact size sds drill, nice and light makes it great for small jobs around the home. Very powerful for its size I have put up a few Cctv cameras up since purchasing it and the drill has worked flawlessly drilling deep into brick without any problems. Only thing I would criticise is the small battery, it would be nice to come with at least a 4 amp battery but for the price you can’t grumble. The case is strong and sturdy and has extra space for another spare battery enabling you to have one spare and one in the drill at the same time. I purchased a second 4 amp battery which fitted in the spare compartment of the case.

I am a handyman and use this drill many times in a week. Being an SDS drill makes changing drill bits very easy and quick. I am very happy with this product.

I have a corded hammer drill that is more powerful and with a long cord, but the practicality of having this battery powered drill have left it collecting the dust.
Build quality seems to be decent. However, when using this drill to drill multiple holes a faint burning smell sometimes comes out, I guess that one has to remember that it is one of the cheapest battery hammer drills around. I would advise strongly to not use multiple batteries or a larger capacity battery to give it enough cooling time after use.
I have had it for over a year and found multiple uses for it in my concrete home, so far it hasn’t failed on doing its job.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersEinhell TE-HD 18 Li Kit Power X-Change Cordless Rotary Hammer Kit with 18 V 1.5 AH Li-Ion Battery.

Got to give it 5 star. Anyone who has tried to drill Accrington Nori knows that even with a mains powered heavy drill its really difficult. You need loads of pressure on the drill, and working above your head is a no no. The only answer is SDS, then it’s a piece of cake.
I read some of the reviews before buying this, sounds to me like one or two may have had a lemon but that happens with the best of things. You have a TWO YEAR warranty so there’s no problem.
Now to business. Its not heavy, its well balanced and its well made, and it murders Acci Nori`s using an 8mm drill. I drilled 20 8mm holes, in under 10 seconds per hole to a depth of 50mm. The 1.5 amp hour battery was almost done when I finished. It ploughs through with only minimum pressure and can easily be used above your head on a step ladder.
You would need the 4ah battery if you your using it on an industrial scale.
As with any drill, care needs to taken to keep the drill and bit inline while drilling to avoid excess side loading.
    Would I recommend it, Definitely.

I don’t even know were to start, after i received i was a bit disappointed cos i thought the worse but I’m glad to say that i was wrong, i use this drill every day for drilling holes in the concrete walls from 6mm to 12mm and as long as you use a bigger battery like 5Ah you’ll be amazed at how good this drill is, thank you Einhell.
